If you want to go to a golf course to be disappointed..this is the place! Horrible experience.. the greens were terrible.. the entire course is poorly maintained.. looks as though it is a gravel facility. Noise.. machines.. nothing to do with update the fairways.. even the cafe was closed.. pathetic.. I will never ever invite friends for a round of golf here ever. Aboud it at all cost. Only good thing was I found about a dozen golf balls throughout the course

Number three green, July 12, 2015.

The East has the nicer par 3s, but West is far and away the better golf course. Holes 3, 5, 6, 13, 14, 15, 17 and 18 are bold memorable tests, regardless of the course conditions. Been playing here since 1992, and I've met some really nice people (except for that one guy). I enjoy this facility.

The club house at Tamarack is newly renovated with a new front desk area, Café, and outdoor seating under our new awning

Mission Report - Recon Assessment: Whispering Pines Municipal Golf Outpost…read moreCommander Chip Hazard, Commando Elite, Reporting for Duty Operation commenced at 0700 hours with high expectations and full gear. Initial reconnaissance revealed a battlefield in disarray. Terrain Analysis: Substandard. Greens were inconsistent--more landmine field than putting surface. Sand traps? Negative. These were not traps, but shallow pits filled with what appeared to be kindergarten-grade play sand--littered with pebbles, no less. A disgrace to the principles of tactical design. Surrounding visuals were demoralizing: crumbling civilian structures and the looming shadows of industrial power plants. Suitable only for a post-apocalyptic campaign setting. Enemy Encounter - PACE OF PLAY: Catastrophic. We engaged a gridlock scenario at Hole 6. Four separate units occupying a single zone of engagement. First unit: A twosome exhibiting movement patterns consistent with post-stroke motor dysfunction. Possibly casualties reanimated by caffeine and stubbornness. Second unit: A lone elder soldier, executing what I can only describe as Tai Chi or Pilates maneuvers on the tee box--disrespectful to protocol. Third and most egregious unit: A six-man fireteam spread across three golf carts. Composition: half untrained child recruits unable to launch projectiles more than 10 yards, the other half delusional weekend warriors--swaggering around like they're on the PGA Tour. One operative even had his shirt tucked in. At a muni. Laughable. Tactical Assessment: This course suffers from a severe leadership vacuum. Chain of command is nonexistent. No marshals. No enforcement. Just chaos. A battlefield without a general. Conclusion: Mission failure. DO NOT REDEPLOY. Recommend immediate restructuring, strict regulation of unit sizes, and a firm-handed marshal with the courage to lay down the law. Chip Hazard, Commando Elite--Sign off and stand clear.

Best value golf in the area. Greens were consistent and fair. Pace of Play was a little slow but it…read morewas busy.

This place was so cute! I didn't get a chance to try there food or drinks but the golfing area was…read moreso fun, they had driving range, mini golf, and more. They even had the option for left and right handed, this included the clubs as well! The service was really nice everyone was super attentive and before we left we even got some complimentary water, read some books, and looked at someone the extra stuff the had around like clothing, matches, other books, and small putting area. It was super nice and relaxing my bf and I will definitely come here again!

I went here on Saturday morning around 10 AM so the parking lot was completely it gets super packed and busy here after 12 PM when the other businesses open so be aware of that! This café has a golf shop and simulators for all the golfers out there, but that wasn't my thing. I came for coffee and Matcha. Coffee bar is pretty an aesthetic. Barista was nice. They served two kinds of Matcha from Japan. I went for the Matcha from the Kagoshima region with almond milk. It was pretty good. I could taste the Earthiness and it was smooth with only slight bitterness. Not the best Matcha in New Jersey. (that goes to Ooika as they fresh mill their Matcha every day and grow it in Japan) but I wouldn't mind having another one if I were in the shopping plaza.
