The interior is really cool too. Dimmed lighting, dark brown wooden floors that give it a sophisticated air, ropes and wood crates and a custom-designed counter that definitely takes you oceanside. She was telling me about how every single thing is made from scratch. It really was good. I was pretty surprised that this place has been just sitting there on Main Street in Payson. I ordered the Supreme Burrito with carnitas, and the portion was much bigger than I expected. The burrito was packed with flavorful carnitas, including some nice chunks of tender meat throughout. One thing I especially appreciated was that it wasn't greasy or overly wet, which can sometimes be an issue with burritos this size. It held together well enough that I could eat it while driving without making a mess. I ended up getting about two and a half to three meals out of it, which was impressive considering I paid somewhere around $10-12. Between the quality, portion size, and price, I thought it was a great value. The staff were also friendly and helpful when I had questions about the menu, which added to the experience. I'm glad I came across Don Chuy's during my drive and would definitely recommend it, especially if you're passing through Payson and looking for an affordable, filling meal. I'll be keeping this place in mind whenever I'm in the area again!
