We learned about this place from a friend of ours so we came here for Kathina. There were a lot of…read morepeople here to celebrate and to share food. It's a huge event where people gathered to share and to donate food and supplies to the monks after the Rain Retreat was over. We are no Buddhists but we always love going to Thai temples for the food, mainly and honestly, and also to support the local restaurants and community through donations. The drive into the monastery is on a paved two-lane winding road. It was fairly easy though. We enjoyed our visit.
