I was here yesterday for a family friend's service, and it was a beautiful send‑off. The message and songs were meaningful, and the pastor spoke about Paul's message to believers regarding death in a very comforting way. I remember when they used to be in North Indio by Walmart, but it looks like all services have since moved to the building across from Shields Date Garden. I visited their North Indio location many years ago. I didn't end up becoming part of their congregation, but I know several people who attend regularly and really enjoy being part of the Destiny Church community. Even though I'm not part of the congregation, I can see why so many people feel at home here. Based on what I experienced today and what I've heard from others, I'd recommend visiting if you're looking for a welcoming church community. read more

We have been members of this charge for around 14 years. We love this place. That is our home. We have a family here we're going on here are important to us many days of prayer and fasting and love and peace. We got it by Pastor Robert and Lissette Martinez and our Campus pastors are Nate and Paula. We both serve ministry here and love it. We also both have small groups. My wife has one every Tuesday night in our home. I have one every Saturday morning at Aspen Mills. If you are looking for a church, this is a great place to give a chance you will, unsatisfied the Holy Spirit moves here with amazing Grace and the people are like your family within our credo. I went to the church on Jan 21 and while we were seated, a staff member asked us to bring our kids back because they were being loud. However, our kids, who are autistic and nonverbal, were actually quiet. This experience has made me feel disrespected, and I no longer want to attend this church. read more

Pastor Obed Martinez came to the Rock Church in San Diego and spoke at the end of 2012. He was wonderful and the altar call was over-flowing with new souls devoted to God. Pastor Obed played a video that spoke as to how Destiny Church is a Do Something Church and does lots of volunteering and charity work in the Indio community. This place is changing lives. Started attending since since 2014. The pastors are gifted with so much knowledge and dedication for us who attend. They truly love the people and the cities they are in. If you're looking for a place to call home and bring your children, they have the best children's church called Camp Destiny. They take babies from 4weeks old. I have personally served there. It's a beautiful and super safe place. They double verify that the child is released to the correct parent. My friend Mayra invited me to church ...Destiny Church was like none I have ever been too. It was lively with a rock band playing Church music. Everyone was jumping up and down really enjoy the word through music. The pastor came on later and she made the sermon modern and relatable. It definitely was not boring and they keep it short, I believe an hour or so. I think it's a teenage friendly church and good for all ages. They have play areas for the kids and a cafe.. First timer here. I just attended the 6:00pm service tonight. Everything was a positive experience. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted. Worship was great...incredible talent. I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. The pastor was very encouraging and engaged us. He had a great sense of humor. He said our church was "swagitistic" :). Anyway, after trying five churches since my recent move...I'm pleased to say, I finally found my spiritual home!! Hope to see you there this Wednesday evening :). P.s. If I could I would rate Destiny Church a 10. I was invited by a friend and ever since my first time I have been saved, baptized and grown as a woman. My relationship was failing at the time I first attended and my family was falling apart. With becoming family at Destiny I have been so blessed and now my family and relationship is stronger than ever. Finding a church home for our time in the desert each winter has not been easy. Over the years we have tried at least 6 different churches. We had been attending a different church the last couple of years, and upon our return this season it just seemed... off... I think it was a season change for us (my husband and I). My kids started attending the Wednesday services at Destiny last year, and were anxious for us to try it with them. Our first visit was the last Sunday in January. At first we were distracted by how "hip" the pastoral staff was (in appearance), but that is our issue not theirs; once the message began our attention was held and it was great. Worship is huge for me! and I love the worship service, though I still am searching for a church that doesn't have a seemingly structured worship set (3 songs) -- I like an "organic" worship, that allows the Holy Spirit to just keep flowing through the music. Youth involvement is also key for me as we have 4 kids and Destiny's youth program is fantastic! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, from our first contact to the moment we leave the building.
