I remember when they used to be in North Indio by Walmart, but it looks like all services have since moved to the building across from Shields Date Garden. I visited their North Indio location many years ago. I didn't end up becoming part of their congregation, but I know several people who attend regularly and really enjoy being part of the Destiny Church community. Even though I'm not part of the congregation, I can see why so many people feel at home here. Based on what I experienced today and what I've heard from others, I'd recommend visiting if you're looking for a welcoming church community.

We got it by Pastor Robert and Lissette Martinez and our Campus pastors are Nate and Paula. We both serve ministry here and love it. We also both have small groups. My wife has one every Tuesday night in our home. I have one every Saturday morning at Aspen Mills. If you are looking for a church, this is a great place to give a chance you will, unsatisfied the Holy Spirit moves here with amazing Grace and the people are like your family within our credo. It was summer and school was out, so it felt like the perfect time to start exploring. From the first visit, we really appreciated the welcoming, small-church feel. It's the kind of place where people genuinely take the time to say hello and get to know you, which made it easy to feel comfortable right away. Pastor Dave is incredibly down to earth, kind, and personable. He's also an excellent communicator--his messages are thoughtful, practical, and easy to connect with. You can tell he truly cares about the people in the congregation and the community around him. One thing that really surprised us was the worship team. For a smaller church, the music is outstanding. The musicians are incredibly talented, and they do a wonderful job leading worship in a way that feels authentic and meaningful. It's clear they put a lot of heart into what they do. Our teenagers immediately connected with the youth group, which meets on Sunday nights at 6pm. They loved it the very first time they went and have been excited to go back ever since. The youth leaders do a great job creating a fun, welcoming environment where teens can build friendships and grow in their faith. As a parent, it's really encouraging to see them excited about being involved. The church also hosts fun gatherings and events that invite the broader community to participate, which shows how much they care about the people around them. It feels like a place that genuinely wants to serve and connect with the neighborhood. What we appreciate most is that there's nothing showy or stuffy about this church. It's simply a place where you'll feel welcomed, cared for, and hear solid, meaningful teaching. For our family, it has quickly become a place that feels like home.

Service times are on Sunday at 10am and Bible Study is on Wednesday at 6:30pm For many years before coming to LoCCC, I bounced between churches as a visitor. I can say whole-heartedly that LoCCC and the foundation of God's word it is built on helped with the restoration of my spiritual health and I found a renewed relationship in Christ. I was pretty broken when I first started going to LoCCC but the love and friendship of the congregation, Pastor Tony and Pastora Mellisa, encouraged me to embrace the process of going through the wilderness and just keep pushing through. This church is a holy spirit filled non-denominational church. The word of God is spoken here. We are taught Godly principals and how to implement those principals in every day life. Pastor Tony is very passionate and very aware of his responsibility in leading others to Christ. The messages he brings forth are both powerful and real eye openers. I always have something to learn in the sermons. There is no hiding here. LoCCC helps God's people recognize the calling in their lives and encourages all to walk in their calling and utilize their God given talents. LoCCC is a church with the community in mind. It is very welcoming and non judgemental. LoCCC encourages all those it comes across to just come as one is. Whether you feel fine or on the brink of suicide, Pastor Tony and Pastora Mellisa always have the peoples welfare in mind, are always available - especially to those in times of need. They absolutely exemplify Christ's unconditional love for people. That's why I have made this place my church home and invite all who come across this review to come through and visit (maybe even stay!)
