I love how the store is color coordinated so it's easy to find things if you have certain colors in mind or favorites. While shopping around I ended up finding a girls day outfit so double whammy and saves me a trip for the next event I needed to shop for. I am horrible at accessorizing and Kaylene was right by the cashier area where the accessories were so I asked her for help. She was so helpful and patient with me as I looked and asked about almost every piece lol we ended up finding a necklace, bracelet and earrings to go with my outfit! I am very happy with my purchase. I also got a mini purse for my daughter and it was on sale for $5! What a deal! All I all in was a great shopping experience and I appreciated all the help I received :) happy customer here!

I don't shop here too often, but when I do I find certain pieces that I actually really like. This store gives me more "raver" and prom vibes more than anything. Their clothes run smaller they're more so fitted for juniors also mentioned by the associates. Associates were welcoming and helpful. Some items I will say are a bit pricy for what they are but some are affordable. Just depends on the material and such. They have a whole fitting room in the back of the store but they block it off completely. But they do have 3 stalls available if you need to try anything on. The line was very long at the time for me. Make sure to ask about return and exchange policies some items are FINAL!!

Everything is color-coordinated & the mannequins are frequently styled by the owner to give you ideas on how to rock the clothes! I couldn't help myself & I grabbed a SUPER CUTE maxi w/ some aviator sunnies that Danielle suggested looked good on me ;-) The thing I love most is the story behind the owner. Danielle's story is honestly a fairytale & seeing how far she's come is so inspiring. I knew her from the beginning & seeing her success in physical form is such a blessing. Because here's the truth that I somehow forget every single time: this brand does not love me back. And yet... in I go. Again. Like a beautifully dressed robot with a glitch. Every visit follows the same script. I walk in thinking, "This is the day. This is the day I finally become a Free People girl." Five minutes later I'm holding up something oversized, boxy, and horribly unstructured, trying to convince myself that I just don't "get it" yet. That maybe I need to evolve. Grow. Become... It definitely skews younger, probably teens into early twenties, but that doesn't mean you can't find pieces that work if you know how to edit. I'm not typically a frilly girl, but I still found items that made me look fresher and more put together instead of older. It feels like a more approachable version of LoveShackFancy, without that moment where you look at the price tag and immediately put everything back. And that's refreshing. What's frustrating is how many department stores and women's brands seem to design for a much older customer. You walk in and everything feels like it's trying to age you before your time. Even brands like Veronica Beard, and sometimes Zimmermann, can add years instead of taking them away. Altar'd State does the opposite. The pieces feel light, easy, and uplifting. There's a sense of joy in the clothing that's hard to find right now. I want to bring my 82-year-old mother here so she can find clothing that adds joy to her life and doesn't age her.

The manager explained that the price difference was due to tariffs and claimed that the $39 towel had been mislabeled because someone had removed the original price tag. I respectfully pointed out that the price tag was intact and showed no signs of being removed or replaced. The explanation I received did not seem reasonable, and I felt my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. After leaving the store, we called the store and asked to speak with a manager. We spoke with a woman who asked for a description of the manager who had assisted us. I described her as a blonde woman who had been standing next to the cashier during our interaction. She said she would look into the matter and call us back, but we never received a return call. As someone who also works in management, I understand that pricing discrepancies can occur. At this point I don't even want the towels. My concern is not the $20 difference in price. Rather, I am disappointed with how the situation was handled and the lack of follow-up after I was told I would receive a call back. I am sharing this feedback because I believe management should be aware of this experience. My goal is not to receive the lower price, but to bring attention to the level of customer service I received so that future customers are treated with greater professionalism and respect.

Many of the pairs were under $50, which is good, considering that the pairs are running at $75 each, at regular price. It took a lot of will power not purchase any shoes. I looked at the Madewell rack, but wow, the solid basic short-sleeved t-shirts are now $18.97 each. Can this be tarriff-related? I needed a refresh for my tops, separates for work.
