I think a lot of the negative reviews cities g Customer Service, is simply because the people who own and work at the shop, are foreigners. They just have a different Standard of customer service than Americans in Las Vegas do. They are not unfriendly people, half of them just simply don't speak English very well. But ultimately, they have a pretty great selection, considering the square footage, and the owner, Ardi, it's almost always there and he has an exceptional eye for what will look good on a person. And he does not hesitate to suggest the sale items, which is rare. I recommend this shop, and encourage everybody to consider the situation before making a bad review because you didn't get the service that you might expect at Saks, when they are breathing down your neck every two seconds. I like that they give me a few minutes to look around and make my own decisions before they start making their own suggestions.

Been here several times for different reasons. First time was to get me a Seattle Seahawks #3…read moreRussel Wilson jersey. Second time was to get a Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl 48 Championship hat. For the Wilson jersey, they seem to always have it in sizes of medium or large. I needed an extra large. It seems that every time I talk to whoever is behind the counter, they tell me the same thing, "Oh we don't know when the next shipment is coming in and it also depends on if the sport is in season." Well, the two times I came here in season they never have my size. I ended up ordering it at another sport place because shipping was free and it only cost 85 bucks instead of the marked up price of 125 here. For the Super Bowl 48 Championship Hat, they did have it. Apparently they only made that one style of an adjustable cap and with the brim curved (I like my hats with the brim flat). I guess I didn't have a choice but since it was a championship hat, I made an exception. Service is almost non existent here. Whenever I show up, I always end up talking to the guy behind the counter because there usually isn't an associate walking around helping out. Does that second person always go on a break every time I show up? So its usually just one person manning the whole store whenever I go there. Weird. So in closing, you wont always find what you're looking for here and when you do, its usually not the right size. I give them 3 stars only because the other stores in the mall you get pretty much the same experience. Yelp 2014 365 Review Challenge #53

The set-up is good, considering the merchandise is placed on racks (but you don't get that crowded feeling) and most of the available wall space (will need help from an employee for the items way above). If we're in the Meadows mall, we usually stop by here, since my hubbie is a sports-lover (NY Yankees/Jets/Knicks/ & Miami Hurricanes) and is always on the lookout for new things, especially hats (an avid collector, he's got more of those than sneakers).

The service at Desert Birkenstock was exceptional. I wanted to try on several different styles in a range of sizes, and they provided everything I needed. I found my perfect fit! While Birks are a bit of an investment, they're well worth it. My first pair went strong for over 10 years and might have gone even longer if I hadn't gotten them wet. On top of the great service, they also offer a Yelp check-in discount and have a rewards program, which added value. If you're looking for the best in comfortable shoes, I highly recommend Desert Birkenstock!

Never did I ever think I would become a fan of Birkenstock sandals…read more Fast forward several years later and I am now a huge fan. I currently own six pairs of these wonderful sandals. I have purchased two of the six sandals right here. I wear these sandals all year long and one pair has sheepskin so I use them as slippers. They are the most comfortable and supportive sandal I have found. I know they don't always look super fashionable, but who cares when your feet are happy. They are a little spendy but you can often find great deals here and remember these sandals can last you a lifetime so in my opinion well worth the investment. There used to be two locations, but now only this one exists. It is not too far from where I live and I come here at least two to three times a year shopping for yet another pair. Staff has always been helpful and friendly. Every season I receive a mini catalog with a postcard enclosed for a deal they will be hosting. I love taking advantage of their spring cleaning special. This includes you bringing in your Birkenstocks and dropping them off. They will treat them with cork sealer, clean the leather and give your sandals a thorough review for any issues that may need to be addressed. Price varies from year to year but I like to have one of my pairs worked on every year. They can also repair your Birkenstocks. In addition to Birkenstock sandals, they carry other brands of sandals and shoes like Vionic, Taos, Olukai (another great sandal), Keen, Dansko, and Alegria. For people that need arch support and insoles, pick up what you need here. This store is really a one stop/do it all shop and that will make me return over and over again.
