Arrived in Barcelona in the morning and couldn't check into my room yet. Was browsing around nearby eateries that were light.
The taller has a pizza shop next to it, I like pizza but don't crave it. Now how I chose pasta who knows because I was trying for a "lighter" option.
I initially wanted lasagna. No lasagna yet or that day, it was already a little past noon. I opted for spaghetti bolognese. Oh dear I know so basic. But I love my meat tomato sauces. Why not judge a place on a classic. The spaghetti noodles was a little thinner than the typical size in used to in America. It was good and their pastas were freshly made and looked like they were cut by hand. The sauce was good but wish there was more. I love to drown my pasta but really there was enough sauce in it.
Their ravioli looked really good and I should have used my translator to translate the different kinds. I was starting too but felt horrible for taking more than 15 mins using my 2G internet lol.
The person was friendly and did speak some English. Minimal sitting in the inside where it was maybe 4 seats on a table top bar.
You can also take their plates to go where I got cute eco friendly cutlery. read more
