They gave me an estimate and I agreed to have them proceed. A month later, still no watch,I called them and the older guy who sad he does repairs said I had never authorized the repair. I recounted the whole story and the guy insisted he was never told. I asked how long it would take now and he said he didn't know, because he might have to get the glass from from Bulova. I expressed my displeasure at the poor customer service and lack of being able to give an answer. He lost his temper and told me to come get it, that he did not want to work on it. At this point, I believe Bergey's broke the watch, doesn't know how to repair it, and that is why it has not been repaired. I shop locally but I will never shop here again and will be sure all my friends and family know about this. The fellow on the phone was thoroughly unprofessional.

They did cheap , horrible work for repairing a ring 2. They did NOT stand behind their work with integrity to make things right 3. The owner- Brian Veness is a dishonest businessman that tries to scam people with lies. Fall of 2023- I took my ring into B Jewelers in Sun Prairie to be expanded in size. I have had this ring since 1995. I normally go to my cousin that is a jeweler (his father was also), however he was between job locations at the time. A shank was put in to expand the ring. Fast forward to March 2026- out for dinner and the ring got a chip in the shank. (1st pic) I only knew because it caught in my hair. I took it off- wiggled the area and low and behold the entire shank addition broke off at the seams. I did consult my cousin, and he advised that it looked like overheating of the joints in the welding process to add this shank. He was willing to fix it but said it may be best to go back to B Jewelers since they did this original work to see if they would honor their work. Dropped the ring off on March 6. Jessica advised that the "head Jeweler" would take a look at it the next week. I was called on March 10 to schedule an appointment to discuss my ring. I had a 3pm appointment on March 11- with Jessica and the owner Brian Veness. This is where ALL the lies began. They had a projection screen up with images of my ring on it. Brians first question was if I use ring cleaner. I advised here and there but not often. I also advised I don't use my ring in chemicals or chlorine pools. He said that even putting a ring into cleaners 1 time - can damage a ring and cause decay. He informed me that after looking at my ring- that it didn't break because of the work they did on it. It was because my ring has cracks in it. My ring is "disintegrating" and parts of it are like "sawdust". I questioned why it would break at the 2 points that it was welded for the shank. He explained because farther up it is breaking. I then advised that my cousin is a jeweler and I normally go to him , but why I came to B Jewelers for this original fix . I advised my cousin saw this ring and said it had to do with over heating during the welding process. He asked if we could call my cousin "right now". Wish I had done that - to set Brian straight. He even said he hoped my cousin who originally designed the ring had the mold- because the entire ring would need to be redone. There was nothing he could do to fix it. This is ALL a complete BS answer. He just doesn't want to stand behind his work. I took my ring to my cousin, at his reputable jewelry store in Madison on March 18. He looked it over VERY closely under the jeweler magnifying machine. There are ZERO cracks in the ring. The ring is NOT disintegrating nor turning to sawdust. The welding was done faulty. I will be getting it repaired by my cousin , paying more money to get it done right this time. I write plenty of very good reviews for local businesses of all types. However, this is more of a warning to others- do NOT take your jewelry to B Jewelers for any repairs. Not only will it possibly not be fixed correctly, but if anything goes wrong, they will NOT stand behind their work. And the owner--- Brain Veness- is NOT to be trusted.

I made three separate visits to Kessler's before my final purchase. The first time I just sat down with Brett and we talked about diamonds for an hour. The 4 C's, what is important, what is not, the type of setting I was interested in, looked at several different stones under microscopes, etc. There was no guarantee of a sale at that point and Brett spent as much time with me as I wanted, just explaining all of my options. It was great, and after that, I felt 100% comfortable. I came back a second time to narrow down my options and again felt absolutely no pressure. When I finally made the purchase, I was confident I was getting a great diamond and a great ring. I got the ring appraised afterwards, and it was appraised for more than I purchased it. So to top it off, I got a great deal. The diamond sparkles and my fiance loves it. I highly, highly, recommend Kessler's. The people at Gruno's took their time while they worked on my watch to show me various items they had in stock, despite not being in the market for a purchase. Laurel and Meagan (hopefully spelling is correct) took their time to show me several watches across multiple styles and price ranges, as well as men's bracelets made from dinosaur bones (?!?) and gentlemen's knives. It's obvious to me that their customer service, attention to detail, and genuine kindness are the drivers for their business. I would not hesitate to return. May be the same weight but have you never heard the cut of the stone makes a difference (becuase now my ideal cut stone has been chipped and filed down by you).
