Classes are 45 minutes long and the coaches are great! It gets the kids energy out as it not only is physical but with toddlers it teaches them to listen and follow directions! They teach them warm up drills, color matching, run after hula hoops, kicking the ball, stacking cones and knocking them down with a ball. Every class is different! Is toddler-parent centered so you get to be in the field with your little one! You pay annual fee and then you pay a separate fee for the season such is about 2 months long. This can all be found in their website. Once walking into the sportsdome you are greeted with people watching from the outside looking into the different games, kids and their patients sitting at tables eating, or just hanging out. On the left side is a big indoor field and the right the field is divided in half with a net, that is where soccer sprouts is held! If you continue go to straight you pass by the hangout which serves food and at the end you'll see the basketball courts. Living in reno this is a facility to host outdoor sports inside! It is a big facility to host different sports or even events! Parking is spacious which is nice compared to the north location. We are happy that this location is close to our home!

I played a season of women's league soccer here. My team was full of rookies, myself included, so…read morewe didn't set the bar too high for our success. Registration for the team was done online and wasn't too complicated. Before our first game we had to obtain players cards - the process was easy and only took a few moments. It was also easy to get another later in the season when I lost my original one (whoops!). You are required to give the card to the employee out of the field before the start of the game so they know that every player on the turf is registered. We played the full season and our games ranged from around 6PM to as late as 10PM. 10PM is brutal especially during winter. It was freezing outside and freezing inside. No matter their efforts the field area is still quite cold. My team and I warmed up in the bar area but a dedicated warm up space would be really nice as the bar area was quite crowded most times and made finding a place to stretch hard. We didn't have any of our games rescheduled so I appreciated that as I was worried we may face that concern. Luckily our schedule remained the same throughout the season. I will say as a new player the inconsistent refs were a challenge. One game a penalty would be called, the next nothing. One game they would add players based on the time elapsed and the score, they next they would tell us that only happens in the children's leagues. Not very helpful for those of us brand new to the game and trying to learn the rules and flow. I will say what I appreciate the most about this place is how understanding they were. I was asked to play on a team the following season and after one game realized it wasn't a smart move for my foot. I called and explained my situation and the employee was nice enough to refund my money for the season and let me off the hook of playing. That was very kind. I got a check in the mail about a week after I called and I was grateful for how easy they made it. I appreciate the customer service and it kind of out weighs the awkward parking, cold field and inconsistent refs.

My wife bought new boots, not at this store, and had problems with the fit. Brent bent over backwards to help her out and after several adjustments over multiple visits they now fit her perfectly. He is one of those boot fitting geniuses, that the Tahoe area needs. I have talked to him multiple times about skis and bindings and he really knows his stuff. If you need any help with ski equipment, or skiing, he is also a youth team coach, Brent is your man. Blue zone is lucky to have him.

After moving to Genoa in late 2020, it took awhile to direct my attention to skiing in general and Heavenly in particular. That happened through a combination of conversations with friends, a good deal on an EPIC Tahoe Value Pass, and realizing that it was about 20 minutes from the House to Heavenly's Boulder Lodge Parking. As far as the Skis, bindings, and boots went, I opted for a season-long rental package through BlueZone Sports in Carson City. I had to buy the poles separately and I already had Helmet, Goggles, and Ski Bib in hand. I ended up with Fischer RC Fire (165) skis with RS9 bindings, and Dalbello Vantage 4F Boots. Looking back on the season, I think that was a good combination, lacking any frame of reference to what might have been better. I went out to Heavenly 8 times during the season, which wasn't a lot, but was a good start, largely on groomed Blue slopes. I'll definitely be out next year and probably with purchased equipment. The BlueZone Sports shop at Lake Tahoe has a Labor Day sale for previous model skis and demos, so we'll see what happens. I was happy with the service that BlueZone provided at both the beginning and end of the ski season. I particularly appreciated the patience shown to this "old guy" as he initially ventured forth and then finished up with a great deal of Alpine satisfaction.

The surroundings were beautiful and I learned more about the mental and physical preparation required to step up my game. The team building skills taught me to trust my new teammates in a short amount of time and after a couple days; we trusted each other on and off the field. I loved the morning runs, yoga, and playing at the different field locations (beach, turf, etc...). I needed a 2.5 barbell plate and pulled it off the rack with a sign clearly advertising $5.99. The plate does not have bar code on it. I bring it to the cashier (Keoni, according to the sales slip), and she looks it up in the computer and rings it at $48.99. I advise that the sign shows $5.99. She calls for assistant Manager, who takes the plate and I show her the sign. She tells me that she must "call corporate" to check price. I again point to the very clear sign showing 5.99. She disappears into an office with weight plate. Now, 2 other people are in front of me. While waiting, I see that on the computer screen is a TWENTY FIVE pound plate with the price showing $48.99. I advise Keoni that my plate is 2.5 pounds and she entered the wrong product in her look up. She does not apologize and I suggest that she go tell the asst manager of her error. She does not. Finally, a nice young man comes over to the front registers and I show him Keoni's error. She never admits she made a mistake. I show her on the plate where is clearly is stamped thart this is a 2.5 pound plate...and advise her that she did not enter the correct weight of the plate. She tells me to "quit whinning"..! So far we've worked with Cody and Ryan and both provide very tailored, helpful instruction along with drills and game play to keep you moving. The whole team is energetic, engaging and clearly talented tennis players themselves. As an adult learning tennis later in life, I've worked with a number of instructors on different vacations and this team is by far the best. I can finally serve! The location is in the middle of nature and is stunning (you can even hear the stream in the background). We're staying at the Ritz and it's a quick 10 minute drive over so very easy for those staying at different properties. We've had such a good time that we booked private instruction and an adult camp for the additional 4 days of our vacation! Definitely recommend checking it out.

So much art in the historic buildings surrounding the other buildings and throughout the town (murals!). Theater, performance hall, exhibit hall, grand ballroom, education wing, etc. Classes, membership; see websites. Small parking lot, but other than the artists, we were the only guests here, lol.
