We both wanted to take country dance classes but didn't like that our only option was a bar. When we tripped across Studio 22, this is exactly what we'd hoped for. This event was organized and well planned with professional instructors who were patient and kind. Studio 22 made it fun, not intimidating. The ratio of guests balanced itself out. They encourage frequent rotation of partners (if you go as a couple, that's okay too), no one person was without a partner for too long. There was a wide range of dance lessons, not just country. The studio itself was very spacious, large enough to hold 50 - 80 people comfortably. There are dozens of four top tables along the wall, no reservations, you have to grab one asap. You are allowed to bring your own water bottles (BYOB). They kept the temperature very comfortable, impressive! Dress code is casual attire, something easy to move in, and shoes you can easily shuffle in. There is a fantastic YELP coupon when you check in: 1 Free Group Lesson. When asked about this, Miss Melva says "she can't get any other time." However, my daughter goes to Encore Centre for Dance in Frisco and Miss Kim-Lan is able to get a June weekend to do their recital. Once, we attended my stepdaughter's dress rehearsal since that year we weren't going to be able to attend the recital. We were told a time frame to expect her dance, and 2 1/2 hours later, she still hadn't danced, and we ended up having to leave without seeing her dance because I had 2 other children with me, we hadn't eaten, and it was a school night. Terrible time management skills to say the least. I would avoid unless you never have any Memorial Day weekend plans, and enjoy having your time wasted.

Some of the teachers are amazing, but the owner is downright evil. There's so much I dont have enough room to tell it all, but it ends with the studio stealing money out of my account. Make sure you call your bank before you decide to leave, or Susan will steal from you. I've seen other reviews on this, so I'm not the only one. They give incentives to people for their 5 star reviews. Dont be fooled. Passive-aggressive, manipulation, lies, aggressiveness, and microagressions, they've got it all. It's not a healthy studio to send your kids to. If you value morals and integrity, this place is NOT for you. Take your money where your kids can thrive.
