My twins went to one of Talent Connections' open audition last Fall and were selected to participate in their services. I was skeptical at first because you always hear that a reputable agency will never charge you upfront and Talent Connection does charge a fee for the services that they provide (and they are very upfront about the fee and what it includes). However, what you are paying for are real and tangible things - 1) Acting classes and guidance, which my kids really enjoyed, 2) A professional photo shoot including hair, make-up, and wardrobe consulting - this alone would cost $200-$400 on its own, and 3) Monthly agency auditions with reputable Bay Area and Southern California agents. We got the girls' headshots done in January and they turned out great! We went to our first agency "go-see" that Talent Connection recommended in the Bay, but were not selected. We went to our 2nd agency audition at Talent Connection in early March and both girls were offered contracts! The girls have now auditioned for two different gigs in SF and one of my daughters just landed her first paid gig (commercial) for a huge international company! I can't say enough how much I appreciate Renee and the rest of the staff at FTC for their help and support in getting us to this point. I am still a little in disbelief that the girls' dream of being models/actors is actually coming true and it would not have happened without FTC. THANK YOU! read more

I am absolutely thrilled to share our incredible experience with Folsom Talent Connection! From the very first moment I reached out via Facebook Messenger, their responsiveness and attention to detail blew me away. They answered all of my inquiries promptly and thoroughly, making me feel confident and informed every step of the way. When we brought my son, David Sodomin, for his audition, the level of organization and professionalism was evident. The team at Folsom Talent Connection ensured everything ran smoothly, which made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. Rachel, in particular, deserves a special mention. She is an outstanding communicator and always followed up with me, keeping us updated and providing invaluable guidance. Thanks to their dedication and support, David got signed by Cast Image, a dream come true for him and our family. None of this would have been possible without the expertise and encouragement from Folsom Talent Connection. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to break into the talent industry. They truly go above and beyond! read more

Wholeheartedly recommended! We reached out to get our young daughters into modeling and started working with Rachel at Folsom Talent Connection, and the experience has been amazing! She guided us every step of the way -- from the audition process to helping us get both girls signed with Models Inc. in San Francisco. After applying to agencies for two years with no response, this was truly the breakthrough we needed. Folsom Talent Connection has the right industry connections, genuine relationships, and local insight to help Sacramento talent get noticed. Rachel also recommended a wonderful photographer who provided high-quality industry standard headshots at a great price -- even without the contracts, that experience alone would have been worth it! We're so grateful for the professionalism, honesty, and support we received. It's great to know there's a trusted local resource helping families navigate the modeling and acting world the right way. Thank you again Folsom Talent Connection for being such a reputable bridge! read more

I have to admit, I wasn't too sure about this. I saw it on Facebook, read some reviews, some good, some bad and just said what do we have to lose? So we went to their open call and it was better than I expected. They were very professional, courteous and respectful to everyone that was there that day. They made us feel right at home and were very welcoming. We met them on a Saturday, the following Saturday we had head shots, the following Saturday we met with an agent from SF, and less than a month we're already auditioning for a catalog photo shoot!! Just know that you will have to pay for your head shots, there's no way around it, if you don't want to pay for them, don't expect them to work with you without head shots...After all they are promoting you're child and they need professional head shots. Rachel and Rene have been extremely helpful navigating this fast paced industry, I highly recommend Folsom Talent Connection. read more

I had the opportunity to audition for Ms. Renee Bines back in April 2017. I was selected to attend iPOP LA July 2017 and had a very successful week! I was cast in the Talent and Modeling showcase and received over 10 callbacks! Since then I have been cast in two commercials with one being shown during Super Bowl 52! I have also been cast in a short film due to premiere during the launch of TVAnansi streaming movie/tv network in March 2018. I am currently rehearsing for a stage play set to open March 2018 as well. Renee's guidance and support rekindled my love for Performing Arts and I truly appreciate all of the help that I received from her to get back to what I love!! read more

My daughter has shown interest in performing since a very young age. I went in a little pessimistic as I have a bit of a jaded outlook on the industry as a whole. I can say that Rachel was not blowing smoke. We ended up getting signed with an agency and already within a short time have booked modeling opportunities with very well known stores. We also went down to Industry Network and i can say we don't regret it. We had so many offers it was a bit overwhelming. I cant say that everyone is going to have the same experience that we have had, but we are very happy we made the plunge. My daughter loves the classes and experience she has gained. read more

We signed up in 2021 but wasn't active until recently upon learning that Rachel Smith took over. Rachel was so encouraging and always available to answer every question we had, she literally has the BEST communication skills! Rachel encouraged us to take various classes they offer and notified us of EVERY audition for agencies in San Francisco as well as every possible opportunity they offered. We just got signed with a major modeling agency in San Francisco and it wouldn't have been possible without the help from Rachel. If you're interested in getting involved in this industry I would strongly encourage you to contact Folsom Talent. read more
