Two stores' salespersons didn't even look us in the eye and the third told us we had to wait indefinitely for her to be through with another customer until she could tell us what size we should look for in a US 12 for their European shoe selection. We came back "home" to Famous Footwear where we were immediately met with open arms by a lovely and very personable young sales woman. We bought more than we had expected to -- there was much more product than the other stores, plus I think just her demeanor made us want to buy after the dearth of customer service we experienced elsewhere. I wish I had gotten her name, because she is a gem, Famous Footwear. Thank you.

I require a wide, EEE width, shoe, and Clarks has a slightly better selection of these than the other stores. The shows I wanted were already 20% off, and I was able to use the Lee Outlets VIP discount brochure to get another 15% off, plus they got me started on a frequent shoppers discount card which will not expire. The shoes are comfortable, and the price was reasonable (for dress shoes).

There were designer names that I had never heard of, but my wife quickly recognized them as those found in higher end boutiques. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of what they sell, and their sale prices are even better. My wife happily walked out with three items in her purchase. We were fortunate to have met the owner, Lea, while checking out. She explained that her store has been open for 23 years in Chatham. When people ask how she can afford to sell her merchandise at the prices marked, she explains that she has a low overhead with it being a family run business and the Chatham building is essentially her warehouse. She also told us, if you don't see a size you are looking for, ask for assistance. She likely has more sizes stored off the sales floor. If you can't make it to Chatham, she explained she also has been selling directly from her website. Attractive prices, and very friendly and welcoming service, the only thing missing is... clothing for us men.

I was surprised at how nice and big this Marshall's location is. While at the Lee Outlets we decided to stop in at this store to look for some gifts for the…read moreholidays. When we walked into the store we were greeted by two amazing staff members who asked us how we were doing and actually cared to make conversation. The store itself was well stocked with items, but the prices here were a bit high for the styles of merchandise they had. A family member of ours has some of the items being sold here and she told us that they were from a few seasons ago and the pricing wasn't much different than the retail price. In the end, the store was average but what made our experience special was the incredible staff who made us feel welcome. This is expecially important this time of year. In the future we will come back to this store but hopefully during a clearance sale.
