Maybe other locations are better - I would think they have to be to stay in business. Like another reviewer mentioned, you end up in a bank-style line and they had just one cashier open. The line got quite long, luckily we beat the rush and were pretty close to the front for what was, imo, an unacceptable time because they had several people working and they wouldn't open another register. In the end I gave my mom cash for a few items I easily could have lived without (snacks and such) and walked out. Had she not been there, I would have left sooner (after about 5-7 mins with no movement) instead of the 10 mins I waited in the same spot. This was on a Friday too. Surely that's when people get paid AND spend their $. Not a fan. Won't be back. Save yourself some time, just pay the extra 5-15% and go somewhere they actually have figured out that when 10+ people are in 1 line, you open another register.

When we entered the store it was well stocked with items and the staff was pleasant, but the merchandise was not at outlet prices. We looked at some clothing that we had seen at Marshalls selling here for three times the price here. That being said, we liked the selection they had, but we didn't purchase anything because of the cost. In the future we hope to come back when it is not the holiday season and hopefully they have better deals.

Every single time we come in, she's always there. Never smiles, always very short if you talk to her, and sometimes outright rude. For some odd reason, interacting with her has become part of the experience in coming here. "How much you wanna bet I can make here smile?". "No way!" I have been a loyal customer for decades and never had a problem. Today, however, I brought in…read morewinter boots I bought three months ago because they were damp inside. The young woman who came over was clearly poorly trained in customer service or else failed to gain the most basic customer service skills because she immediately suggested it was my fault for not waterproofing the boots. I showed her the tag on the boots which says "Waterproof." Then she said it was probably my sweaty feet. She did not examine the soles or seams because she didn't want to touch my "dirty boot." When I asked to see the manager and followed her to the office, she shooed me away, presumably because she didn't want me to hear what she was going to say. The manager offered store credit and I would have had to give my boots to her then and there. Leaving me to go home in my socks? I told her that I was a loyal customer for many years and had bought footwear from them when I could have got it cheaper online, but I like to support local businesses. I told her that she had lost a customer. Next time I'll try shoes on for fit and then order online for a better price and hassle-free returns/refunds. Some local businesses do not earn loyal customer support.

The prices are slightly higher, but I feel they are better quality shoes, at with respect to what I wanted. I require a wide, EEE width, shoe, and Clarks has a slightly better selection of these than the other stores. The shows I wanted were already 20% off, and I was able to use the Lee Outlets VIP discount brochure to get another 15% off, plus they got me started on a frequent shoppers discount card which will not expire. The shoes are comfortable, and the price was reasonable (for dress shoes).
