I was so delighted that she had the house that I just headed right over to purchase it, regardless of price. When I arrived, she seemed extremely uninterested at first, but stated she would find out the price of the hous for me. After I looked at it, I had decided to purchase it, and I told her I would like to load it in the car. She became very distraught and angry Stated that she had told me to call back in 30 minutes because it would take a long time for them to prepare the house. She said that they would need to dismantle the display and it would not be ready until tonight. I told her I'd driven 40 minutes just to pick up the house and I would actually help her dismantle everything from insideif it would allow for me to get it sooner. By the way, there was only a few toys and pluses in the house. The picture is provided for everyone to see that it would only take 3 minutes to remove the items from inside! She then told me that she was very busy and I needed to calm down because she is verybusy and understaffed, and that she needs to check out everyone else in line first and I needed to step aside. She replies in a very mad way I told you to call back in 30 minutes!!!!! I reminded her kindly that she asked me to call back For the price, and I headed over because the price did not matter. I was embarrassed and humiliated, I then decided to walk away and let her check out all the other people in line. When she had done that, I came back to tell her I would help her dismantle the area for the house and I wanted to see what she could do for me. She was clearly walking past me ignoring me for a while and then she came and told me "now do you see what I just said,when we are extremely busy! She was so angry with us. I mentioned to her that she should calm down and that I would help her. Her attitude was so extremely disrespectful and aggressive and demeaning towards me. I don't even know why I bought the house, really just because I wanted to make sure I had everything assembled for Christmas for my kids. She then charged me more than what it cost to purchase the item Yes online, and the item is also marked in many areas and has some damage. I did not even complain about that. My biggest complaint is the way she treated me. It was absolutely disgusting. I work in an extremely stressful environment on a daily basis, and I have never ever talked to a single soul in this way EVER. I have spent thousands of dollars at your store, but I will never come back. I hope that everyone reads this and sees that they do not deserve to be treated this way.. Again I work in a very stressful high volume job, and have NEVER treated anyone this way Also you should have been grateful to be busy in a bad Economy, not taking it out on customers Your response shows everything. You called me entitled, yet again insulting me when I did nothing wrong. I am a kind paying customer at your store who moved aside even though I waited in line for you to check out those ten customers in a calm and patient manner. I tried to park outside your store, but a large beverage truck parked there. I told the lovely young man I would carry the house to my car on the SAME block but he said he would help me. It took 5 minutes for him to walk down the street with me, and I also thanked him and tipped him a cash gift. You can justify why you behaved so rudely to me all you want and refuse to acknowledge your behavior which is not excusable. The house DOES have damage and the price is lower on Maileg site and all websites. I have dealt with all kinds of extremely stressful situations and have NEVER treated anyone like that ever. I visited the Brandy location at Suburban Square to do an exchange and was turned away. I politely asked the manager, Marilyn, if an exception could be made since I was simply doing an exchange, not a return for store credit and was still turned away. She said it was due to the system that she couldn't do anything or override it. Unfortunately, her tone came across as condescending and unhelpful. Prior to the exchange incident, I asked another associate if they had an item in stock, she deferred to Marilyn, who responded with an attitude while saying no. Out of the many Brandy locations I've visited in various states and even other countries, the Suburban Square store stands out for its lack of customer service and professionalism.

In a crazy twist when I was working in DC - a can of white paint that spilled on my full length black mink sheering. I was mortified when I called Hal. He listened with care and told me not to panic, then instructed me to send him the coat immediately- without trying to remove the paint. The coat was shipped to Stupp Furs and voila!!!! My coat was professionally cleaned and recovered. The coat was amazingly resuscitated, and the client lived happily ever after. I've been with Stupp Furs for over 14 years.

Co Chic looked like another women's boutique, but what I really noticed was a Hammitt bag that I saw in the window, and made a mental note to myself to return another time when my kids were not with me. So I went back today, and was pleasantly pleased that they had quite a selection of Hammitts, including the "Davis" bag that I had I seen on Hammitt's website recently that I was curious about. (It's really helpful to see handbags and purses in person so you can get a sense of the size and the feel but not many retailers sell Hammitts in this area.) Tori, the owner, was at the register and she could not have been nicer.

The employees are always so nice and willing to help. I ordered a pair of jeans online and when they were delivered, I realized that they had a broken zipper. I didn't get around to making it to a Madewell store until after the 30 day return window, but given that the jeans were not usable, the ladies at the store were able to process my return with no issues. I ended up trying on a few more pairs of jeans when I was in the store and the employees were very candid about which ones stretch and which ones don't. They helped me find my perfect pair! Tip: if you bring in a pair of old jeans (regardless of where they are from or how expensive they are), they will give you a coupon for $20 off a new pair. They are known for being an upscale/designer clothing consignment/resale store. If you're looking for $1 blouses this is not your place. I decided to visit after a recent hair appointment. My hair was looking great and I was feeling good. It's down the street from my salon so I thought, why not pop in? First...the door was locked. There were people inside. I think someone pushed a button because they smiled and then the door was open for me. I'm honestly not a big fan of this practice. I understand retail theft and shrinkage and such. It makes me feel like I'm unsafe, though, or that this is a dangerous place, or that I am untrustworthy or suspect. It's a business choice and I respect it. It doesn't endear me though. Ardmore is not a crime-ridden hovel. Anyhow, back to the experience. Understand dear reader that I am a woman of, er, substance. A US size 16-18 gal, which many of us are. When I was permitted to come in, there was very little greeting other than a smile. No "Hello, how are you today" or "What can we help you with?" comments. The associates were busy with another customer, which okay, again I get, but as my visit continued I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being ignored. At first I was fine then I realized that they don't seem to have any garments over a US size 14 to maybe 16, definitely nothing 'plus' sized. Oh. Okay. That's fine, I've been in other high-end consignment stores that don't carry plus sizes. Off to the shoes, where I had a question and could not get anyone's attention, and to the jewelry. By then I gave up on any kind of sales assistance. It's a shame because I saw a pin that I liked, it had no price, so I needed to ask - except they were busy and not making eye contact and ignoring my polite "excuse me". It was about then that I realized they really did not want me as a customer, were not interested in selling me anything. So, I left. Not a 'thanks for coming' or a "please come again soon". The clothing and accessories are lovely, and for what they are they are generally reasonably priced, again, for high end. A $600 dress priced at $300 is a good deal. I spent over $250 worth of items. It's a luxury site with no customer service and no care or concern or taking responsibility for their faulty towels.
