Donna took one look at my face and said, "I have the perfect dress for you." I'm between 12-14 and am working through some insecurities, so when she said that, I said "yeah, right." Donna told me I deserved to feel delicious in my dress, so I tried it on. My God. I looked and felt like a mermaid Goddess. The dress is a beautiful mermaid/trumpet style gown that hugged my curves in all the right places (I'll update with pictures soon!). It was affordable and very well-made. Normally, I would've walked right by it. Thank God I listened to Donna's advice. She is honest, smart, so so stylish, and she sees and celebrates the beauty of everyone who walks into her boutique. I felt like Cinderella and Donna was the fairy godmother (the Brandy/Whitney Houston version with the sassy and fabulous Godmother!). It seemed clear to me however that the owner of the boutique, who had initially been extremely friendly over the phone, was not particularly interested in my business. Although she had originally told me on the phone when I made an appointment that she would be happy to help me select a dress, when I arrived she seemed cold and disinterested and handed me off to another salesperson . She then approached a second customer who seemed lovely - and was a size 0 for sure. I have heard that this is the reputation of the boutique, mostly catering to the size 0 and size 2 set. I feel very happy with my beautiful (expensive) dress . Again when I returned to pick it up today after it was fitted, the owner was fairly perfunctory with me. She didn't ask if I was happy with the dress that I was going to be wearing to my son's wedding. When one has a special event coming up and goes to a lovely boutique like this to pick something special out, one wants to feel like a special customer.

Ok--so I'm a guy reviewing a boutique for women. But I like browsing for things to surprise my wife…read moreevery so often. And there were plenty of things in here at a decent price. Decor is wonderful, changing rooms are the most beautiful changing rooms I've ever seen (I should get some pictures next time I'm in there, they're neat). Makes this place certainly a little hidden gem. I browsed for what feels like a pretty long time, but only ended up getting a candle cause I only meant to pop in to see what the store was all about. Me and my wife are kind of regulars at Rocky's Pizza (same shopping plaza) so we've seen it and wondered what was inside. Well now I know! Certainly blew me away. I already mentioned the decor, but the general displays are nice as well (I work in retail, I can't help but be impressed by that). I was the only person in the boutique, but luckily I wasn't hounded. There was one person working there--didn't catch her name but she had long black hair and a nice sense of style herself. She was very pleasant and friendly. Also packaging was cute (pictured). :)
