I'm a pretty particular person and I feel they have created such a wonderful business. We love that we are supporting a local business and they also support local farms. The food is tasty and already cooked so all you need to do is warm it up (this is such a HUGE help being a busy mom). I look forward to receiving the menu for the following week. If for some reason we're not interested or we're out of town it's very simple to skip. It's nice to not have to think of meal ideas, preparations and cooking. They do a great job of alternating the menus so you're having something different each week. The portion sizes and the price you pay are more than fair. I cannot recommend them enough. They truly have been an awesome addition to our weekly dinner meals. Thank you, Homegrown Eats, for providing such a reliable, yummy, locally sourced and professional service!

Mezzanine has an expansive menu of handcrafted delectable options. We wanted a taco bar for dinner from day one, and Mezzanine offered an elevated taco bar that was wedding appropriate, and allowed us to make customizations along the way. Booking almost 2 years in advance, we also knew their traditional menu options were perfect if we changed our minds for a plated dinner. Their pricing is also very fair and allowed us to stay within our budget while also having an impressive spread. They are flexible and easy to work with and when COVID downsized our venue and list to the backyard, they didn't miss a beat. On the day of, the appetizers and taco bar were all delicious and the guests all raved about the food! The bartender service was great and kept drinks going all night. Their staff was friendly and service was top notch - they brought our wedding food dreams to life! I highly recommend Mezzanine to anyone who is looking for catering (and if I ever have an event in the future, I'm calling them). After an appointment nearby, I stopped by the Trapped in York Maine food trailer. I decided to order a Small Trapped Meal ($24 plus tax) with a Small Lobster Roll, bag of Cape Cod Sea Salt Chips, watermelon cubes, 2 homemade Maine spice cookies, and a fresh lemonade. My order was prepared to order in about 8 minutes. I enjoyed my food outside. The Lobster Roll (3 oz of knuckle & claw meat in mayo) on a toasted New England hot dog roll. The watermelon and chips were good sides for the Maine style lobster roll. The 2 homemade sweet Maine spice cookies were soft and chewy. The iced lemonade was refreshing, as I enjoyed the rest in the ride after finishing my meal.

The space is a small, bright market-café with cheeses, salamis, drinks, and a focused food menu. Natural light fills the room through the large windows, and they also offer fresh coffee and lattes. Two young women working the lunch shift were genuinely friendly and made a delicious sandwich. The croissant was outstanding: ***light and flaky*** and the chicken salad itself was refreshing, with grapes and red onion. The only change I requested was leaving off the pickled onions.
