WOW - Do not be fooled by the name, these signs are not cheap!! I asked for a panel to be replaced on a little spot I am renting and he said it was $850!!!!!! WOW! That is more than my rent!!!!! I am pretty sure you can get a whole new box sign for that price. But, a panel replacement, $850!!!! WOW!!! He did say he was going to use good vinyl as if I went with cheaper it would only last a month. But, I am pretty sure 3M or high quality vinyl for a 3ftx8ft sign is well below $850. On a side note, the service was there. I will say Casey was very nice and came out to look at the opportunity on the day that I called, so service was on point, but the price was quite a rip off. I called 5 other places and ALL said that was ridiculous! Not sure why he tried to rip me off, he seemed so nice! read more

Time came for a banner for my convention table. And prices online were looking pretty good, but I like to support local business as much as I can so I found Cheap Signs off yelp. I soon found out the 4 and a half star is definitely not an exaggeration! I called ahead to ask for pricing on a 2'x4' full color banner. I spoke with Casey earlier in the week and he told me they could do $40 for it. The exact same pricing as UPrinting.com minus the shipping and extra fees. I came in this morning (3/12/13) at 10 am with my native psd and jpeg files, and they got my banner done SAME DAY by 2pm! FUCK YEAH! It looks amazing too! I moved into the Burbank area and purchased a business that needed new signage. I saw Samiah Signs on Magnoliawhile I was driving and thought I would give a small business a try. What a huge mistake. I negotiated new signs with Mr Diaz. Once he installed them they began to peel after a couple of weeks. I contacted him several times to get the signs repaired. When he did finally arrive, he used black electrical tape as a remedy. I was shocked. I could not get him to correct the problem after several attempts. I filed a claim to take him to small claims court. He ignored the filing. I have since sold the business and did not recommend the new owner to Samiah SIgns/Cheap Signs and will certainly never use them again on my next business venture. Samiah Signs is trash. Not only are they liars, the lose orders. What's worse is they create orders that you did not place, then bill you for bogus charges. If you do not pay they will send you to collections. Find another company. The signs are not cheap and the quality is poor. Is there was less than one star to give, they would get less than one star. I mailed my artwork on a Tuesday needing to pick it up the following Monday morning at the latest. I wasn't going to write a review a couple months ago because I didn't want to be so negative, however I see that others now have had issues with Samiah. I'm a project leader on an event for my company, and we ordered signs. Not only did we not receive our signs on the date that was expected, they were unprofessional and rude, and told us they'll let us know when they come in. In other words, not to call them. We cancelled our order, and went with another company. However because it was now a RUSH order with the new company, we had to pay RUSH prices. Samiah was upset because we cancelled, and said they went out of their way to help us with the order. Really? Even though you couldn't deliver on time? I'm done with them. The new company is much more professional, and our signs were ready in the date expected. read more

My initial impression of his portfolio and work done was good. Casey does good work and is neat. My only gripe is that he said he would get my signs done by Tuesday and it wasn't installed until Saturday. I had to follow up by emails and left messages to find out why his guys didn't come on Tues., then Wed., then Thursday, by Friday I left a message asking for a refund and ready to go somewhere else. Finally he called me on Saturday and said that he would come out himself and install it. By then the trust was gone, but to his credit I was happy with the job. Not sure that I would trust him on a bigger job that I had planned, but based on his other reviews you should give him a shot. Maybe organization and time management skills are his strength yet, but something he can improve upon. read more

1. We were unhappy with the work and with the process of working with Casey. 2. The sign was not made to our satisfaction (this was later verified as poorly made by another sign company) and Casey was very difficult to get hold of (he did not return calls and his office/ place of business was empty when we tried to reach Casey in-person). 3. There were a number of occasions when Casey tried to remedy the numerous issues we had but they were not resolved satisfactorily. 4. We eventually had to hire another sign company to create new signs at our own expense which they did professionally and got it right the first time. 5. Casey did not reimburse us for the work even though it was not completed satisfactorily and we were left unhappy. read more
