Unlike most other city centre locations they don't mess around with hot sandwiches or paninis etc.. They keep it simple by offering an unreal selection of high quality fresh fillings and salads. The portion sizes are ridiculous (in a good way) they pile so much in it's hard to see how they make any money! My personal fav it's their club sandwich, this easily the biggest sandwich you can buy in Belfast, it's costs just over a fiver but would easily do two people. Along side the quality produce and massive portions the service is second to none. Bob and Christine run it and their banter alone is worth a visit, a nice touch is also the fact they give you a free apple with every sandwich for a healthy desert.

All food is extremely fresh and you can see them chopping up all the vegetables behind, and the chicken is freshly cooked chicken breast not pre-cut frozen bags. Family run friendly business, and great to see these still exist and are going strong. You even get a wee bag of harbio on leaving - be warned he doesn't let you leave unless you take one!!

The food is tasty and homemadey - things like chicken and broccoli bake, chicken and ham pie, lasagne etc, all groaning with real ingredients and big lumps of meat or chicken. This is food like your momma makes, and portions like your granny serves. Servings are enormous and even I feel full after eating here. Each dish comes with a salad which translates as a few leaves and slices of tomato and a big dollop of creamy coleslaw or potato salad and/or chips. I have seen the serving staff having to literally squash the chips on to fit them on the plate. It's not just about big portions, though. The chicken pie has lovely chunky of leeks and mustard seeds for flavour. You an also get gorgeous tray bakes and made to order sandwiches to go if you're in a hurry. I've been to a couple of parties where the hosts have used Fillers as their caterers and am ashamed to say I had three helpings of dinner. I almost had no room left for wine. Almost.

That's a bold statement, isn't it? Forget about Starbucks and all that nonsense... When it comes to a good coffee, love in preparation is what matters. Love. Not firing out 3000 lattes per hour. You'll normally find me here, just either side of the lunchtime rush (there seem to be a load of solicitors nearby) enjoying a sandwich or salad (and a latté, of course) in nice, genuinely lovely surroundings. Highly, highly recommended.

It does a lovely lunch menu. It is strange that there are not more little places like this around Belfast, little locally owned cafes and it is unfortunate that this is not so. The best meal I have ever had here has to be their B.L.T sandwich. It is one of the best sandwiches I have ever. Made on brown rye bread and made with freshly made bacon it was spectacular. There soups are often pretty good as well. A worthwhile little place to stop in if you are ever hungry!

The ice-cream is particularly good, but the sandwiches and paninis are also delicious. Their traybakes / muffins etc are usually quite big, but truly scrumptious. I remember sharing a muffin with a friend, and even between the two of us, we just couldn't finish it. Once again though, the high standard of customer service is what really makes it for me. The staff are more than helpful, and genuinely lovely. On one particularly busy day, the staff were rushed off their feet and had forgotten about my hot chocolate, but as soon as they realised, the apologies came thick and fast. Bless 'em. At this time of year, the Nosh team provide picnic baskets filled with goodies, including the rugs! What a wonderfully novel idea. I do pity them though...one week of persistently heavy rain and showers and the Northern Irish summer looks like another washout. Do nip into this delightful little cafe if you're around the area...it does have some of the best Nosh in town.

We were parked and walking into town discussing where to go for a fry. 'Will it be Cafe Mocha? Will we try Cafolas again?' when we bumped into a friend of a friend. We told him our trouble and he recommended Jarrah - boy are we glad he did. The breakfast selection from 8am to 12 midday is quite outstanding with the choice of a small fry, a regular fry, a deluxe fry or a super deluxe fry - each time the price and the plate size goes up slightly. My beau ordered a super deluxe fry consisting of...wait for it... 2 sausages, 1 bacon, 2 eggs, beans, mushrooms, half a pancake, soda bread, a hash brown, potato bread, french toast and a fried tomato!! Holy Fry -Up! I just ordered scrambled eggs on toast. The food was good, the setting was comfortable and they provide the days papers while you wait. There is a separate section to purchase take-away sandwiches or ice cream, I have heard the sandwiches are also filled well, reasonably priced and tasty. I knew I was going to yelp the place once I'd finished eating it was just so nice. I have only two issues, you have to pay for your tea separate to the fry and there was a funny wee smell in the place - nothing weird or gross just a funny wee smell. I'll be back - maybe tomorrow!

I have had a baby recently and find this is a really handy place to call in, have a bite to eat and feed him. The staff are so friendly they really go out of their way to help me with the pram, holding the door open etc. Also because of the baby, they have no problem providing hot water for the bottle and bringing over my food. There is plenty of space to park my cargo which is a welcome change to other cafe's bunged out with tables. The carry out service is separate to the main seating area so you won't be disturbed while dinning. I would not go anywhere else to eat while in Newtownards.

Creed is surrounded by glass walls so you can see inside the relaxed and tastefully decorated shop as you drive past, however the lighting inside is muted so you can see everything comfortable without it being intrusive. I finally visited for a cup of tea with a friend about 6 weeks after it opened, and the experience was great. In the area where the shop is, there are two other businesses, a flooring shop and a pizza takeaway. There is enough parking to cover the three as long as things don't get too busy, and it's a short walk from the front door. We got a seat no problem when we arrived, and got served straight away. I just had the berry tea which came served in an infuser, and it was beautiful, my friend had a coffee. We didn't eat this time, but I saw a fantastic range of pastries, tray-bakes and sandwich options, so will definitely make a point of going back for food soon, particularly as I follow them on Facebook, and the salads they post up look absolutely divine! They also have some really comfy leather couches, great if you aren't in a rush and want to just chill out and watch the world go by.

Tea rooms attached to a garden centre, tend not to have the most out there reputation. I'm glad to say my scepticism was blown out of the water. This place is definitely a little gem of Belfast. The actual tea rooms/restaurant are an elegantly appointed building with stunning views of the countryside. You feel like you are in the great hall of some stately Victorian home. Sumptuous décor and a varied and delicious sounding menu. As we were there during the week we availed of the two courses for £9.99 (I think that was the price so apologies if I got this wrong, my mum was paying) We both ordered the soup for starter, Butternut Squash, chilli and coconut. Very tasty and a huge portion, I couldn't finish mine because I wanted to leave room for the main. My mother ordered slow cooked beef brisket, Mash and roast root veg while I had the smoked haddock, creamy bacon and leek sauce and the same sides. I cannot fault the food, it was delicious. My only tipple would have been that a selection of different sides for the fish may have been a little better, Maybe some samphire and potato croquets or some such. We also caught a glimpse of their cram tea on another table which looked stunning (I think the Waitress said it was £20/25 per head) Overall an amazing place for lunch, but it doesn't end there. They also offer a dinner menu Thursday to Saturday and it is BYO so definitely cannot be doing wrong there. I highly recommend this place for lunch or for dinner! If you go for dinner though I think you have to book as this place is making its mark on the map and seems to be getting ever more popular!
