Saturday morning once again and if you have read any of my past reviews you would know that Saturday mornings mean breakfast out!! yeah baby!
We were parked and walking into town discussing where to go for a fry. 'Will it be Cafe Mocha? Will we try Cafolas again?' when we bumped into a friend of a friend. We told him our trouble and he recommended Jarrah - boy are we glad he did.
The breakfast selection from 8am to 12 midday is quite outstanding with the choice of a small fry, a regular fry, a deluxe fry or a super deluxe fry - each time the price and the plate size goes up slightly. My beau ordered a super deluxe fry consisting of...wait for it... 2 sausages, 1 bacon, 2 eggs, beans, mushrooms, half a pancake, soda bread, a hash brown, potato bread, french toast and a fried tomato!! Holy Fry -Up!
I just ordered scrambled eggs on toast.
The food was good, the setting was comfortable and they provide the days papers while you wait. There is a separate section to purchase take-away sandwiches or ice cream, I have heard the sandwiches are also filled well, reasonably priced and tasty.
I knew I was going to yelp the place once I'd finished eating it was just so nice. I have only two issues, you have to pay for your tea separate to the fry and there was a funny wee smell in the place - nothing weird or gross just a funny wee smell.
I'll be back - maybe tomorrow! read more
