DO NOT! I repeat! Do NOT use BENDTAKEOUT! They have the WORST customer service EVER! I have sent them numerous pictures of my described incorrectly ONLINE food. I have sent them screen shots of what they described and what came. There was FRENCH FRIES on my salad. At first I thought this was a joke or something but because the restaurant has it on their menu they are doing NOTHING to refund me but giving me a credit to order again! I will NOT be ordering from them EVER Again! I will ALSO NEVER be ordering from CABIN 22 AGAIN! My Dinner was DISGUSTING and I DID NOT EAT IT! Who orders a healthy Salad with French fries on top???? WHO? Bend TAKE OUT UPSET me all day by arguing with me, NOT accepting responsibility for their actions and plain ol NOT having customer service. Tonight makes the second order in a row that was undelivered/canceled. Both times, when on the phone with their customer service rep they apologized and said the restaurants were "closed". The first they said no one at Curb B Que was answering the phones so it had to be closed. Tonight, they said Longboard Louies was closed (6pm on Tuesday yet). I got a $5 credit for the first order nothing for tonight and I'm willing to bet my credit vanished. Anyway, I called both restaurants and MIRACLE they were open! CBQ was flummoxed when I said my $50 order was canceled as they were "closed" according to.TOT. He assured me they were open. Tonight, when i called LBL and explained TOT said they were closed and canceled the fellow was HONEST and explained they are super busy and turned off the online deliveries to focus on in house. I thanked him for his honesty and said I'll just go there then. My question is, why does TOT pee on our legs then try to convince us it's raining? And if these places are unavailable, why isnt TOT doing a better job of updating their website to avoid these things? I used to rave about this company. Ive ordered delivery a few times and never had a problem. My door backs to the alley and is a little hidden, and they always find me. The orders have always been correct and the driver gets here sooner than I expected! I also love the tracking system on the site- so I can see when they are headed my way. I was sad to see some low reviews on Take Out Today. I've used them DOZENS of times over the past 3 years. For the most part they always deliver as planned. The only issue I've had has been with the restaurants them selves forgetting something. The takeout service is much appreciated and does a good job to deliver a service in Bend that exceeds the services provided by the national delivery services. I love bend takeout. I use it when a) I have nothing in the house for dinner, b) its Friday night and I'm exhausted from a long week of work, or c) I'm sick and need soup. The delivery time is reasonable and you can see the status of your order on the website which is great. A decent selection of restaurants but I'd like to see perhaps a few spots for rotating "guest" restaurants. The convenience is worth the delivery fee for sure. read more

They delivered when they said they would, but I'm giving 4 stars because it did take quite a while. They also have some good options for food but I wish there were more options. A friend of mine always uses them but I didn't like that I had to call in my order because I can't hear well on the phone and get frustrated. HOWEVER they now let you order online AND I get text updates of the status of my order. I live on the outskirts of town where most places won't deliver but Bend Takeout does and I am so stoked! This place charged me for an order I was going to send to my sons for an early Easter Dinner yesterday and they charged me for the order. Then the driver called my son and told me the restaurant I order from was closed and told my son that I need to try another restaurant and I would be credited back. I tried to call the number for the driver but no answer. I started to place another order to replace the meals that were not going to be delivered and then I decided not to complete the order and went with another delivery service. Meanwhile my card was charged for both orders, completed and incomplete and my bank saw this activity and thank goodness put a hold on my card. Therefore, when I ordered from a different delivery service, naturally I could not use my debit card so I HAD to use my credit card in order to simple have a meal delivered to my kids since I can't cook for them with this COVID issue. I have lived in Bend for two months, and this was the very first bad experience I have had with anyone. First however, let me not discount the woman took my order, or the driver that brought me my food. Both were nice, both were courteous especially the order taker, who was willing to go above and beyond to help make sure that my order was right. I was a bit inquisitive upon calling, I had never used the service before and was unsure that although it says on the website they do deliver outside of the city limits with an extra charge, that they would deliver to my area. I was told it wouldn't be a problem, my order was taken, and delivered quite timely. I tipped the driver, and sat down to enjoy what looked like really great food from the Pour House. And then my phone rang. I thought about not answering as I was sitting down to eat, but I wanted to make sure that if it was somebody calling to make sure that I had received my order, that I let them know what a great service they had. Instead, it was a call rudely and bluntly telling me they would no longer be delivering to me. That was followed by an aggressive grumble stating that for them to do so, would screw up their logistics. I explained that I had spoken with somebody at the beginning and she said that it wouldn't be a problem but that there would be an extra charge - which I happily agreed to. He continued with "it's not about the money it's about the logistics and we won't be doing this again". All of this in an almost reprimanding tone, as if I had tried to cheat them or mess with their business. So much for that prompt follow-up call with me explaining my gratitude. I wasn't thanked, I wasn't apologize to for the fact that they wouldn't be able to deliver to this area again, and instead was so rudely treated that I lost my appetite. Obviously, I will not be using the service or likely dining at the Pour House again (not due to the food which looks great, but to the taste this individual left in my mouth). My suggestion to the company. If this guy isn't the owner - and I can't expect that he would be, given his poor use of the most basic customer service skills - get rid of him (I have the cell number he called from if needed). He is clearly not doing you justice. He will probably not be favored at the Pour House when I explain to them my experience either. Following that, there are appropriate ways to address this issue. If there is uncertainty as to whether an area may or may not be available for delivery, make this clear prior to accepting the order. If YOU miss this and process the order, In lieu of following it up with such an inappropriate call, politely express the logistical concerns to the inquiring customer, the next time somebody places an order from this area. I was up front and honest, paid extra for, and tipped on the order. I did my part. That you, bendtakeout.com, chose to fulfill the order, and then behave this way is a mistake that only you own. I have been a customer for years with usually absolutely no problems. Today however, things changed. I put an order in for Black Bear Diner and put in the notes that I only had a 100.00 bill so the driver could bring the appropriate change. When he came to my door he counted out the money he had and said here is 65.00 and I handed him my 100 and said that is fine. I Then counted the money he gave me and said, wait there is only 45.00 here!!! I looked at him and he said yeah I know but that is all I have. He literally tried to scam me out of 20.00. His solution then was to take my 100.00 bill and go break it, but as I told him he just tried to rip me off, I didnt not feel comfortable with him taking my entire 100 dollars. He left with the food. I called and spoke to Evan whos only solution was to give me the difference in credit for my next order. This was also not acceptable to me as I dont have much money. The driver returned and offered the same solution as before. Give me the 100 and ill go break it. The answer AGAIN was no, you just tried to scam me. What should of happened is if he did not have change he could of contacted me when the order went through to let me know, OR go and get money from the ATM ( the supervisor did indicate this would of been what he should of done). I am blown away by my horrible experience today. I hope this driver gets reprimanded and I will no longer be using this service unfortunatly. A bunch of stoned jack asses I placed my order with them and when I got my food it was wrong I called them and he was so stoned he wouldn't call the place I ordered from to ask why the food was not what I ordered so I had to call the place the place I ordered from told me that bend take out had ordered it wrong so I had to call Bend take out and explain that to the guy he in no way would call and fix this with the place I ordered my food from he was difficult and told me that he would no longer be taking my business which I use them probably 3 to 4 times a week because I'm sick and I am not able to make my own food on top of that the person who came to take my money and bring me my food didn't bring any change up to my door which made me feel like she assumed I was just going to give her all my money and didn't want any back because she wanted a tip she didn't get a tip because she assumed I thought these guys were great but what is happening is they sit around and smoke so much weed together that they can't order food correctly they smell like weed when they come to my door they don't look like they shower ever and the only reason I use them as because I was not capable of cooking and preparing food for myself this month they will see how many hundreds of dollars they will lose because they were too lazy to place my order correctly or even try to fix it Josiah was the a hole who wouldn't help me Josiah needs to get off his ass and get a real job I did not mention the name of the restaurant I ordered from because it is not their fault but I will let them know that bend take out is giving them a bad name maybe they wouldn't have so many problems with people wanting free food if they took the time to order correctly and then people would get what they paid for Josiah your a loser read more

This service is good when they actually deliver food in a timely fashion; however, they are totally unreliable! We have now had several bad experiences with them. One of the instances, we ordered food, got confirmation it was on the way, we even received a text from the driver stating they were at the restaurant and the food would be on the way soon, then after waiting for 1.5 hours, we received a call saying the restaurant was out of food. Now it's 7:00 pm and we are left to figure out what to do for dinner, no one bothered to inform us there were any problems until we waited 1.5 hours for food! Last night we decided to give the service one last try after our bad experiences, once again they totally failed us! We ordered, got confirmation it was on the way, after about an hour there were no updates, so I called to see what was going on, at that point I was told they were running behind and it would be 2 hours before the food would arrive! No one bothered to call and let us know there was a problem, we would have waited all night had I not called. When you order take out and have hungry people at your house, it is very important that you can rely on the service to deliver the food and keep you informed of any delays. Not the case with these guys, they are unreliable with very poor customer service. I will never use this service again! read more

After waiting an hour and a half for my food I called in to speak to someone about my ONCE AGAIN incorrect order..... You would think I would learn my lesson. The staff was unapologetic and said I had a note in my account that said I like to ask for free food. In sorry but if asking for the order to be corrected is asking for free food then I'm guilty. They name dropped where I worked and brought personal matters into the situation when all I wanted was the correct order. Most meals can be in your stomach within the hour. Angie, the owner, puts up with all kinds of neediness from me while I try to feed my kiddle long distance. Today it was the Tomato Basil soup from Croutons that was a huge success, with artisanal ciabatta bread. A few weeks ago there was great salmon with a glaze from Boston's. The person who took my call was less than friendly. But worse the delivery person had zero customer service skills. I opened the door and he said "that'll be $33.00", (or however much it cost). No hi or how's your night going. Then he went on to start bitching about his problem with his delivery run before me (because he showed up about 25 minutes past the time frame I had been given for the delivery. Also, I think I'm about as unconservative as they come but that doesn't mean I want to pay a service fee for some disheveled metal goth weirdo to show up on my porch and then expect a tip as well. I should have tipped bad but I hate doing that. I'm glad it was me not my teenage daughter who sometimes orders delivery on her own opening the door to some gross CREEP-O!!! Our lunch was supposed to arrive at 11:30-11:45 but didnt til almost 12:20 pm and after most of us had already finished our lunch time. Food was picked up at 11:30 from restaurant and sat in the drivers hot car for almost 45 minutes. This included hot entrees and cold food and made all of us a little concerned about how safe it was to eat the food. Hopefully no one got sick. If your food is 20 minutes later then THEY ADVERTISE IT WILL BE, don't expect them to take ownership or apologize for it. They will just argue with you that they are busy and it's not their fault. When I noticed it had been 20 minutes since the order was placed and the order hadn't been received at the restaurant, I called to make sure there wasn't an issue. Dude said it would still be on time. No it wasn't. When I called once 18 minutes had gone past the stated delivery time guy just kept arguing with me. Never apologized for it being late. Just wanted to argue about ASAP vs. choosing exact delivery time. Issue with this is app shows delivery time based on you choosing ASAP. When order shows will take 40-45 to be delivered that is what you expect it delivery veered. Uber Eats backs this. They always refund the delivery fee when they are that late. My grandsons and I were staying in a hotel room on South 97th and my grandson really wanted steak from Applebee's and we were tired from swimming and didn't want to get dressed, drive all the way across town, and wait in line to get into a restaurant on Saturday night, so I thought we would try this place. We got our food in 45 minutes, everything was great, both my grandsons were very happy with their steak and sides. my only complaint was that I got soup and there was no spoon in the bag. It didn't matter the soup was not very good but that's not the delivery service's fault. One thing I feel really bad about is I was being distracted by my grandson trying to get the food and I only gave the driver a two dollar tip after running my card on her phone. She deserve more than that and I feel really bad about it. I hope somebody lets her know and next time we use the service, which we will, I will make sure to tip appropriately. I order out allot and use this company for most of it, they are awesome. So I make an order from black bear dinner of ribs and tri tip, baked potato and a dinner role. I know bend takeout writes my order down and reads it exactly to the restaurants like tell it to them so I get my meal and no ribs the tri tip was tuff and practically inedible and the baked potato was half rotten and u could see it from the outside it wasn't hidden rot and the dinner roll was not a dinner roll it was a huge biscuit that was like a brick it was so hard, a disaster meal and with the tip for the driver it was 30 bucks so not cheap. I called black bear and spoke to the manager and she was very rude and basically told me I was burnt she was no help at all. So then I figured I would make another order from another restaurant another night and when it came time for my total the guy at bend takeout say free of charge they bought my dinner for me because of what black bear dinner did and it totally took me by surprise because it wasn't their fault black bear messed my order up but very cool of them.
