Not sure why all the negative reviews. I have always had a pleasant experience at this location. Today I was just helped by Marvin & Will who did a stellar job welcoming me, keeping me informed throughout the process of what was being done, and giving me replacement options without any high pressured sales tactics or the like. Yes, there is a lot of turnover with employees with this type of work & sometimes you can get ones that are not as good. But I've had 90% of my oil changes performed at this location in the past 8 plus years and I feel it does a very good job most of the time. read more

Terrible wait. Stuck in line waiting almost 2 hrs. 1 guy working with a brand new hire that was in first day of training. Had both overhead entry doors open (to fool customers into thinking that 2. cars were being worked on simultaneously. Lie. When arrived they said it will be just a few minutes .... Yea, like 125 mins. When confronting the one veteran guy about this.. he shrugged. Ridiculous. Never Again. read more

Great service. This location is surrounded by construction and I wasn't sure if they were open. I was greeted with a smile and a bottled water. Every step was explained and I received 25% off. I was given recommendations for further services, but the technician was not pushy. I will return, when in the area. read more

I got an oil change from this location and the mechanic didn't put my rad cap back on. Because of their error, my engine started smoking and completely died while I was on the highway! Thankfully there was no one on the road but I shudder to think what would've happened on a busier day. Take 5 has done nothing about this and I'm out a car because of them. I am so deeply disappointed with my last, and I mean last, oil change at the Take 5 store in Solon. What the hell has happened to your professional, helpful, polite young men who used to work there? Because when I went there, they were replaced by a couple of young men who obviously have had zero experience working with the public. And cannot even read the signs posted on the walls of their own business that said "no cell phone use here" They were too busy bopping around to check the pressure in my tires, and when I asked, pretended to do so. I asked about the windshield washer fluid, and was told it was filled, but I didn't see them do it. It's not like I wasn't in my car. The music and dancing was just more important than good customer service. And I'll either find another Take 5 or go to Valvoline. read more

Went in for oil change $60. had $25 oil discount coupon oil change should have been $45 when they gave me the bill after service there was a $4 service fee and $13 up charge for a different filter neither of these charges were disclosed to me before service was performed deceptive pricing complained to BBB but the Take Five does not respond to BBB complaints stay away from this business read more

Super slow. Their name is take 5 but it took over an hour to wait in line and get my oil changed. Will not be returning ever

The attendant was a total sloth with zero customer service and zero personality. They did not have an air filter in stock and they did not have window washer fluid available. I was not informed that this was unavailable until the service was being preformed. At that point I did not have the option to go else where. read more

I took my '08 Colorado there earlier today. These guys had no idea what they were doing. They told me they couldn't service the truck because it has a skid plate on it which had a rusty bolt they couldn't remove with the tools (I.e. air wrench) they had available. They said the last guys who serviced it must've tightened it too much. They said they topped up my fluids at no charge, which I thanked them for and left. The last place I'd had it done was 24 miles away and in the wrong direction from home for my other intended plans but I went there anyway. The reason they couldn't get the bolt off was it's probably never been removed since the Chevy factory put it there in '08...for the sensible reason that it isn't necessary. There's a place right under the filter...which you'd think they'd have seen...where you can just reach up and grab it. On top of that, when they checked my fluids again in Middlefield, these guys had "topped off" my power steering fluid (which they'd said was "a little low") all the way up to the cap! They Middlefield guy had to get a syringe to suck some out. When I got home I called the Take 5 back to tell them about all of this, and they did remember me when asked so knew what I was talking about, they were just like "yeah, okay", no apology or even seeming to care what I was telling them, which was for the benefit of the next guy with a truck like mine that rolls in there...because it won't be me! read more

This place ripped me off and made me pay $50.00 and they didn't even put oil in my car, I had to take it into another shop (twice) and my car was so close to being irreparable because your employees took advantage of me, ripped me off and almost destroyed my car. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

4th time I've been here for an oil change since it has changed to Take 5 and have never been disappointed. The staff is kind, smiley and all around wonderful. Is great to come in for an oil change and get free laughs! I was greeted with a smile, a joke and an ice cold bottle of water by Daryl, and Mike took great care to see that my car got exactly what it needed. Do not go here. They drained my transmission fluid and doubled the amount of oil my car should have. Also the wrong type of oil was being used. My car started smoking and seizing immediately after they told me to start my car. After numerous excuses I had to have my car towed to a near by shop to find out what they did as the engine locked up and would no longer start. I then had to have my car towed to the dealer to replace my transmission fluid and correctly change my oil. I was without my car for 5 days and had to pay $643 out of pocket for repairs. I am still waiting on full reimbursement now two months later. Luckily my car was not destroyed by this. When I call the shop for a status update on my refund they claim they do not know Corporate's number and can not check for me and Corporate numbers only have voicemail boxes that are full. Don't expect any type of customer service from Take 5 besides the bottle of water they offer when you pull in, not that they are competent enough to do much else. read more

There was something hanging low on the undercarriage of my car so I stopped and asked them to take a look. They took the time to look and removed the covers that were damaged and put them in my trunk. The manager was so nice and helpful and didn't charge me for his services. I will most definitely be back for oil changes in the future. read more
