I wasn't expecting to get it vacuumed, but it really needed it. I was then able to get back in the vehicle and drive it through the car wash. I thought I would just drive out after the blowers blew the excess water off, but then another employee motioned for me to pull forward under an awning where he proceeded to hand dry the vehicle with cloth towels and dry the windows!!! Everyone was super courteous and very friendly! I'll use them again when I'm in the area! They did a great job!!!

Called again and asked to speak to manager. Manager told me he "had walked the area" and did not find it. Drove back there to find it myself. Was scolded for being in empty car wash bay, only for employees. Asked the attendant that pre washes cars before going through wash bay if he had seen an outside mirror cover that had come off. He said "sure, it's right here" and handed it to me. Manager must not want happy customers because he surely didn't care about me and lied that he had actually searched for the cover. Fast forward to today. My husband ran over something large and hard at 70 mph. Hit was so hard it popped the needle off of the speedometer in the dash. Managed to get it into see Joshua. Wasn't good news but he gave me 2 options. First was the minimum that needed to be done. Second was an additional item that really should be done. All said and done, more than I wanted to spend but I still feel he was very fair in his pricing. Been driving the van for a few days now and am very happy with the results. Plus, I have the peace of mind knowing I won't be chewing up my tires every few thousand miles. Just as a side note. I did research Cortez Car Care and discovered something amazing. They have been members of the BBB for 23 yrs this year and have not had one single complaint lodged against them in all that time. In any auto related field, especially repair/maintenance, that is a record to be very proud of. This tiny town of under 1000 people is located several miles north of I-10, and the shop is near the corner of state highways 62 & 12. Easiest to find when driving south on 62, it's on the right. The Hunny's SUV needed two new tires. Yelpers said that Ben's had good prices, and I concur: the tires I got are priced right around others I've purchased in Vidor TX and Vallejo CA. For best results, order from their website, pick the time you can be there. Note: the tires weren't there yet when I arrived in the morning. "The truck is scheduled to be here at 12." That should help when scheduling when you can be at Ben's. When they got started, it took less than 15 minutes to park it, get 'em on, and pay for it. Mauriceville is a little drive for me, but my experience at Ben's was better than what I get at Modico. So I'm fixinta come to Ben's more.

I asked them to check the fluid in the differential and he told me they did. I was watching and the mechanic didn't pull a single wrench on the diff. So I decide to try again with another vehicle of mine today @ 2:30/2:45pm. I pulled in, he asked me was I there for. When I told him coolant flush he laughed and said not on a Saturday at 4: 0clock. IT was 2:30pm. He asked me to pop the hood. He made a statement someone been working on this vehicle. I told him it was me. He told me what was loose. I wasn't there for that and didn't ask him about it. He Bryan(owner) I think is his name. Proceeded to tell me how he couldn't do the job. He was rude about it. I told him close it up. He was still talking to me for some reason. At this point I wasn't going to expose myself to his attitude anymore. I guess when you own a successful business you can turn people away. I would like to mention I emailed prior to showing up. The fact that I did not get an email reply makes it worse. So your business model is laugh at a customer infront of people then tear appart how shitty of a job the vehicles owner did trying to repair it? This isn't the first time or second time the owners be short with me and my questions. I wont be back.
