Fast forward to today. My husband ran over something large and hard at 70 mph. Hit was so hard it popped the needle off of the speedometer in the dash. Managed to get it into see Joshua. Wasn't good news but he gave me 2 options. First was the minimum that needed to be done. Second was an additional item that really should be done. All said and done, more than I wanted to spend but I still feel he was very fair in his pricing. Been driving the van for a few days now and am very happy with the results. Plus, I have the peace of mind knowing I won't be chewing up my tires every few thousand miles. Just as a side note. I did research Cortez Car Care and discovered something amazing. They have been members of the BBB for 23 yrs this year and have not had one single complaint lodged against them in all that time. In any auto related field, especially repair/maintenance, that is a record to be very proud of. Just tells me that they are doing things right and have customer satisfaction very high on their priority list.

They are professional, keep you informed every step of the way, do great work, for a fair price, stand behind their work, and most of all are honest. I have spoken with the owner more than once, as it is family owned, and he is usually there. But one time that I spoke with him that stood out to me that they were different. My stepson's power steering stopped working. I called and I was about to have it towed in as it was parked at a restaurant. The owner got on the phone with me and asked me what year and model the car was. I told him, he asked me if the car had driven through any heavy puddles. I told him it had been raining, so I assumed so. He told me that model is notorious for the sensors getting wet and causing issues with the rack and pinion steering. He said, let it sit for a couple hours and dry out a bit. It should resolve the problem, and it did. He didn't have to tell me that. He could've let me have it towed in and just let it sit and dry and tell me he fixed it and taken me for a ride, but he didn't. That's honesty. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family, and to anyone else who reads this review.

Even though he was fully booked for the day, he took the time to put my vehicle up on the lift and thoroughly check out the undercarriage to make sure there was no unseen damage and even put air in my tires. BUYER BEWARE Dealership did not sign sale contract. After…read more*30 days* of having the car in our possession, they informed us the financing had not gone through. Of course they could now offer a significantly higher rate and down payment and would not honor the original contract. They also did not pay off our trade in (again, after over a month), tried to offer $4k for it, then had it up for sale on their website for over $9k. This dealership is dishonest and they try to run scams. The car they took back also needed new batteries and new tires, over $2500 worth of expense. They upsell everything possible at signing (to the tune of around $4k). And that contract, again, only YOU sign, so they get to do whatever they want after the fact since the contract isn't valid until they sign it, then try to scam you at a much higher rate. I've never dealt with such people in my life and I've filed complaints against this dealership.

I talked to Kenny in service and he was pretty booked up, but a 9am appointment had not showed up yet so he was able to squeeze me in for service. This is the second time I've showed up while I'm the area that he has managed to get not only mine this time, but my wife's vehicle awhile back!! They stay very busy and normally I make appointments way ahead of time. Every once in awhile when I'm in the area, I check the status on the vehicles to see if they are close on needing service. Most of the time they are good to go, but twice I've looked and they were close enough that I've taken a chance to pull in to the service department and just check to see if they could get to them. Twice now they have been able to accommodate me! It just shows it didn't hurt to ask what their backlog status is on service. Anyway he ran me almost into the overpass I was in the medium, when I rolled over something and my tire pressure was going down. Thank God I pulled into the Ace hardware and some very nice fellow with his Mom help put my spare on. He said to go across the way to get tire. Now, I called ahead to inform them what just happen and order me a new tire. Well, when they took the tire off the rim. My rim was busted also. I have a Nissan Rogue and they didn't carry that Rim. Which I understood, but I got upset because I almost died and now have to Drive back to New Orleans on a spare tire going 50 miles an hour. Orange Radiator Service was the 3rd and was by far the best. The gentleman that helped us was very knowledgeable and was able to tell is what was causing the problem and rectify it so that we could make the remaining 900 miles home to Jacksonville. This is the place and these are the people to fix your vehicles cooling system ! I wish they were in Jacksonville Fl too!
