Back in May or June 2011, I was driving across the country when my alternator died on my E36 M3 out on rt. 40. As my car was dying with my mother driving, I sought a replacement alternator for my car. After calling about 10 places, including BMW themselves, I couldn't find an alternator and have it in less than 3 days. I found Autohaus online and called them, telling them my story of needing to meet my brother on the east coast and not being able to wait until the middle of next week. They said they had an alternator that was awaiting a racecar build but would be willing to sell to me in my circumstances. They charge me the fair market value for the rebuilt alternator that one would pay at Autozone or Carquest, not the $600+ that BMW charges. They also stayed open late to wait for my arrival during rush over by tow truck. Once there, being a mechanic myself, I was able to quickly change the alternator in the parking lot. They told me to take my battery out and charged that for me as well to make sure I wouldn't kill the new alternator charging the battery. We tried to tip them when we left but they refused several times to take a tip. I left shortly thereafter with a charged battery and strong new alternator to finish my trip successfully. I've never forgotten the kindness that the gentlemen at Autohaus showed me. Years later, it has still made an impression on me. I'm a degreed mechanical engineer that does all the work on his car as I'm a perfectionist as well, but I wouldn't hesitate about leaving my car in the capable hands of the guys at Autohaus. I just recently stopped by this October of 2015 while I was visiting OKC to thank the guys again for the help and kindness they showed me in my time of need. Thank you for a great experience! Autohaus should be your very first call for BMW repair in the OKC area. Thank you!!!

Every mechanic knows that a used turbo SHOULD NOT be installed, only new. no receipt or invoice on all the work he did. He did a half a** Job in placing my car back together, after I refused to pay an extra $400 on top of the $800 job. After I paid, my vehicle does not drive the same. The work he did resulted in a faulty connection with the oil line and coolant line, making my car not driveable. My car began smoking after he made a huge mess without cleaning it up. He will repeatedly attempt to get every dime out of customers, with no valid explanation. I informed him that I will be seeking litigation and went to his shop to ask for compensation for all he has done and his wife and him began yelling and saying that is was MY fault that I didn't want him to fix the "hoses that were leaking", which does not relate to the turbo, he claims that someone else messed up the turbo when he has been the only mechanic to ever work on my vehicle. BIG LIAR. Overall, His shop says it all, dirty, a hazard, and lost parts all over the place. Please do your research first, his 40 years of being a mechanic doesn't make up for all the terrible work he does, not to mention very defensive when you do not agree with him.
