Went for an oil change on Saturday 10/4. Had a coupon for a $29.99 signature oil change. Was told by the original service technician that the total cost with shop fees would be about $40 out the door. When the service was finished, a different technician told me the total was $90! They put in synthetic oil instead of the house oil that the coupon called for. Which is something I DID NOT request at the time the information was put in the computer. I told the technician I would be happy to wait while they drained the vehicle and refilled it with the oil the coupon specified. I was told that couldn't be done. The best they could do is charge me $80 for something they messed up. I informed them that when I make mistakes like that at work, *I* am the one that has to own that. You did not honor your own coupon, took it upon yourself to use something I didn't ask for, and then had the temerity to charge me for your mistake AND when I told you that it needed to be fixed you said that it wouldn't be possible. I left without a receipt because I don't intend on using them again for any of the vehicles I own. If you want to use this Jiffy Lube, make sure you get your quote IN WRITING before they put a drop of oil in the car or you're going to own whatever they do. I'm not sure if their franchisee is aware of what they're doing but I doubt it's in line with the values that Jiffy Lube claims to uphold. read more

I came in to get an oil change and brake job on my 4Runner just before Thanksgiving. they were fast, fair, and professional. our family drove down to Texas for the holiday and noticed that the brakes shuddered severely when braking on the highway. I contacted Jiffy Lube about the issue when we returned to town and had time, and the Jiffy Lube staff took care of us. They kept the vehicle overnight and test-drove it to replicate the issue, then repaired the faulty rotator at no charge. Made the. mistake telling them this is under a fleet deal. they charge me for tire rotation that they didn't do and then they charge me for 8 quarts. When I actually the manual says 7 quarts. I'm gonna report them as fraud to the management company and also report them to Better Business Bureau. It was terrible service. I came with a coupon paid ($52) for a 5 qt oil change. For a long time they could not say how much 6 quarts would cost. They wrote some figure of 133 dollars, they said that later my "groupon" would be deducted from this amount. In a word, they tried to confuse my mind.They said they didn't know the exact price until they changed the oil and entered the data into the computer. It is unacceptable: to find out the price for the service to the ambassador of the provision of the service. In the end, I achieved a specific figure: I will have to pay about 20 dollars extra. One additional quartet officially costs $8. It's ok, I'm tired of arguing, I agreed. And when I picked up the car after changing the oil, I found two large scratches on the steering wheel from nails. Went in today for an oil change, and while the service was fast, some details were overlooked. In the short consultation I had with the tech, I was told they do a 22 point inspection and that they also vacuumed the front floorboards. When I got my car back (again, very quickly) the floorboards had not been vacuumed and the old mileage decal was not removed but the new one was simply placed next to it. Neither of these things were a huge deal or an inconvenience for me, they just made me wonder if there were any other steps they may have skipped during the oil change. I will say again that they were extremely fast in getting my car in and out of the service bay. However, I will not return to this location unless it is a dire emergency. read more

We didn't even check the oil when my engine started having problems, even replacing other parts, because we thought we had a recent "professional" oil change. I decided to use them for my oil change instead of Wal*Mart. $88 for a full synthetic oil change, then another $20 for an oil filter. Post oil change: (same day) In and out in 30 minutes! Awesome sauce. Also-they vacuumed my truck out and washed my windows. Considering I can't take my truck through the car wash and vacuum it out...and rely on the rain to wash my car...I'm a pretty happy camper!!! They also brought in my air filter to show me that it was fine, which I thought was nice because most places just tell you it's either good or bad...and you have to go off of their word for it. I got to actually visually see that my air filter was fine. (Yay being relatively automobile illiterate.) Took my wife's car in for an oil and filter change. First, they didn't put the filter on correctly, started it up, spilled oil everywhere, and didn't bother to clean it up, so by the time I got home it was smoking from all the oil burning off the engine. Took it back so they could "clean it all up right" and when I got home, there was still oil from the cap in down. Didn't vacuum the floors, check tire pressure. Get the impression they checked none of the other fluid levels. Yet they charged me over $80 after allegedly giving me a $15 discount. It was $55 the last time I went there. Which is approximately what having it done at the dealership would cost. Used to be a good place. Never again. read more

I'm a 22 year old woman and went into Jiffy Lube to have my oil changed and asked them to tell me what percentage my front break pads were. To see if I would need to replace them soon. They asked me to come outside and explained to me that apparently my rear cylinder was cracked and leaking break fluid. He explained to me that it would be $550 to replace it. I said I was going to take it to Toyota for a second opinion to be sure. He then tried to talk me out of going to Toyota. I left, and when I went out to get my car three of the rims were missing. I had to go back inside and ask them to put my rims back on. I took my car to Toyota the next morning, they ran tests, and say nothing wrong with my car at all. I will NEVER go back to Jiffy Lube after they tried to scam a young woman out of hundreds of dollars. read more

Going in for an oil change the first time, I believe I was scammed into replacing an air filter. Later, took my car into this location to get my breaks fixed and to take advantage of the fluid top off and vacuum. After 3 or 4 hours of waiting with little explanation, I was told that my front brakes were finished, but I would need to come back for the rear brakes. I was assured that the parts would be ordered. My fluids were supposedly topped off, but no vacuuming or washing was done. I ended up sitting in the waiting area for at least 5 minutes after my car was finished before someone noticed that I hadn't been rung out. I tried to take my car back a week later as we discussed to fix the rear brake drums. When I arrived in the morning, neither the main mechanic or my parts were there, so I made plans to reschedule. A few days later I came back to get my rear brakes fixed. I was given very little attention or explanation in the waiting area. A few times I was told that it would be another half hour or hour. I ended up waiting there for 6 hours, waiting for parts to come in and waiting for them to get my rusted brake drum off. Each time, my car was a grimy mess when returned to me. Extremely poor service! Although I entered the waiting area with 2 others already there, it took over an HOUR to just change my oil (no exaggeration). When it was finally finished, I paid and left as soon as I could. I looked at the receipt and they "completed" things such as "vacuum floors" which were never touched. They said they changed my fluids and aired my tires, but I'm sure that was a lie as well. I also realized once I got home that they never changed my oil tag on the windshield, so I have my old tag. Had my oil changed today, my vehicle uses 6 quarts of oil which is 1 qt more than the coupon I had which was $30 off or $24.99. Since my vehicle uses 6 qts the price of oil change jumped to $76.99 plus $8.00 for extra quart of oil. Had I not had coupon my oil change for non-synthetic oil would have been $84.99. The staff were very clear and told me price up front so I knew the price would be $52 with coupon for my car. The staff were nice and upfront about cost but seems odd that they would charge additional $8 for oil on top of increased price for 6 qt oil change that is $20 more than 5 qt oil change. These are dishonest people, that will lie to your face and charge you for parts they never put in your car. I went to Jiffy Lube to fix a simple leaking tire valve. They LIED to me, saying that they needed to change the tire pressure sensor because they didn't have the correct tools to deal with the original sensor. When leaving Jiffy Lube, the car was giving a tire pressure warning and they said all I needed to do was to take the car to get calibrated somewhere else because they didn't have the right tool. Another LIE. I could sense they were shady, so I told them I would like to take the original pressure sensor. I took my car and the original pressure sensor to the Nissan service dealership. Turns out, they broke my original sensor at Jiffy Lube! Additionally, they put no pressure sensor on the tire! There was nothing to calibrate! They charged me for a sensor they never put on the tire! These guys are shady and dishonest, stay way!!! read more

Yesterday, I had the best-possible experience at this Jiffy Lube location so I have to give a shoutout to Tom and Jason. I arrived and told them my oil light came on. Tom not only calmly told me that it was actually the Check Engine light (oops), but he also showed me how to properly check my oil, "in case the REAL oil light ever comes on." Haha. He also diagnosed and temporarily fixed the problem for free until I can get back to my hometown. I really appreciate him educating me in something that may seem simple, without being condescending. I've always had good experiences with Jiffy Lube for oil changes but this was a fantastic experience for something concerning in a town that I'm not used to! I took my car in for oil change, and they told me I need to replace the front and rear brakes and rotors. I changed my rear rotors last year, so I went to hibdon to get a second check. Hibdon told me my rear brakes are perfectly fine. Beside that. I got my brake fluid changed less than a year ago at jiffy lube, and now it's bad and I need to change it again!!! This is ridiculous because I don't drive very often, even if I drive everyday, it should last longer than 1 year. I went in and asked them about the brake fluid, they told me it's how it is. If they told me they might made some mistake, didn't drain the old oil completely, I will take it. But not, they are not only dishonest, but also not responsible. Copying my review from Google as I still have no resolution: This used to be a three or four star for me. I have used this place for eight years, and the service was acceptable and convenient. But recent events have changed my opinion. I was willing to tolerate overcharging for parts as long as it was 20% or less in markup -- anyone with a phone can search for part prices on the fly -- provided that I had quality work that saved me time. But now I am out over $1300 on repairs and still have the original issue. I have made four trips back in the past month, trying to extend the benefit of the doubt the auto-shop I have used for eight years, so I also haven't saved time. So if I am not going to receive quality work or save the time that I would have spent doing this work myself, why should I return or recommend them to anyone anymore? If you do decide to go here, purchase only the basics. Spending more than that appears to mark you as a rube. $135 for an O2 sensor? For a pack of four this might be reasonable, but not for a single O2 sensor. The only explanation I can provide is that my spending on the premium service on my oil changes convinced them that I would buy anything. And one more thing to the staff of Jiffy Lube #2300: don't try to butter me up by saying that you aren't charging for labor if you're just rolling the cost of labor back under the price of the part. It's insulting. I was polite, but my car has shuddered to a stop three times in the past three days with a problem it didn't seem to have before I came to get work done at your auto-shop. read more

Do not take your car here. I did and 800 miles later I was driving and the oil plug came out and I lost all the oil. I don't have to tell you what running your car with no oil does to the motor. I am very lucky that the engine did not lock up. I had it towed in to a real car dealership and they told me anytime you run a car without oil in it will cause damage. About all Jiffy lube could say was we really got lucky here. read more

Went in with a Groupon for an oil change. Then, I am shown dirty air filters with a bug. Then, they say my brakes are bad. I ok'd the brakes but then they put my car up on jacks out back and took off the front tires. They came in the lobby and showed another customer dirty air filters with a bug in the exact same spot as "mine". Four hours later, the manager says that the part they sent him was defective. They kept my car over night without my permission, didn't fill any of the fluids, I asked for my parts, they only gave me the rotor's which I took to O'Reily's and they said they could have been turned. They tried to charge me $1006.00 I told them the last amount I approved was $250. The air filter's turned out to be $60. There was grease all over the interior and exterior of my car. When I took my car back up there, they acted like they filled the fluids and put air in my tires, but when I looked the next day, the fluids hadn't been filled. The manager called the district manager who said over the phone "she ain't getting sh*t". read more

I brought my car in for a basic oil change one day and of course I "needed" my radiator flushed. A couple weeks later my heat goes out in my car so I start looking at what it could be. I was completely out of coolant. When I took my car back to jiffy lube the shift manager Alan said he would get it taken care of. He also said I was supposed to bring my car back after a couple days and he admitted that I was not told this. Shift manager filled up my coolant and that's all he did to fix the problem they caused. They kept telling me that they couldn't find where it's leaking and that it was a dealership fix. Well it's not a dealership fix. I took it to the dealership and they told me what was wrong with it. Explained to Alan what they said and still didn't want to help me. I finally got enough money for the parts and went to change them out in my garage, but I found oil in my coolant. Which is from a busted head gasket. Which the head gasket blew from lack of coolant. So paying for a radiator flush at jiffy lube is the first of many payments you will make for the same problem. Do not recommend jiffy lube at all. Also found our dealership oil changes are actually cheaper than jiffy lube. read more

I pulled over and there was oil everywhere, including in my driveway when I got home (after having to pay for a new oil change at a different location). The mechanic failed to properly put the oil filter back on. He also charged me $19.99 for an apparent "battery cleaning," which was never requested.
