Beware of Phil's Auto Repair. In my experience, this shop is dishonest and will overcharge if given…read morethe opportunity. Low ratings exist for a reason. I've gone there several times for alignments. During my last visit, they told me I needed wheel bearings and gave me a written estimate of about $1,300 for parts and labor. I asked if I could supply my own parts, and they said yes, explaining only that they wouldn't be able to warranty customer-supplied parts. I specifically asked what the labor would cost and was told $645. I ordered the parts and, a few months later, called to make sure the labor price was still the same before bringing my car in. They assured me it was. When I arrived with my parts, instead of pulling up my original estimate, the employee created a new estimate with the labor increased by nearly $300. I stopped him and asked him to print my original estimate. He hesitated and only did so after I repeatedly insisted. The manager then came out and claimed the original labor price was only discounted because I was supposedly buying their parts. That explanation made no sense because I had already told them from the beginning that I would be supplying my own parts, and at that time they still quoted me $645 for labor. They never said that price depended on buying their parts. It felt like an excuse made up on the spot to justify charging me almost $900 in labor. To make matters worse, the parts they wanted to sell me were marked up by more than $500. I bought the exact same brand-new parts myself for only $170. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop. Make sure you get everything in writing, compare prices, and don't assume they will honor the estimates they give you. After leaving I discovered that they also have complaints with the Better Business Bureau as well

I asked if there was a long wait and I was told no. My wife and I hopped in the SUV and off we went, I drove past the shop heading east because it is set back a bit farther than the other businesses along the road but once I turned around it jumped right out at me. I pulled in, explained what I needed and the crew got right to work. After about 30 minutes I was asked to complete my customer data on their computer system. A few moments later a technician informed me that my A/C refrigerant was about 16 lbs low and that they were topping it off as we spoke. I paid my bill, the same price I had been quoted over the phone and went out to check out the A/C, the performance was perfect, couldn't be better, nice and cold! The shop is the perfect repair shop, they are all business and no BS. The waiting area is clean, and there is was coffee available for customers. There was no wi-fi signal available. I don't recall a television in the waiting area but my wife does so I'd go with her recall not mine. I trust this place, you should too

1 star I had a…read moreterrible experience at Jiffy Lube. I paid $140 for an oil change, and the service was absolutely not worth the money. The oil drain plug was left loose, causing oil to leak all over the underbody cover and drip throughout my entire road trip. My underbody cover was left covered in oil, and I had to spend even more of my own money on degreaser to clean up their mess. On top of that, they lost three screws from my underbody cover, leaving me concerned about whether it was properly secured. They rushed through the service and showed very little attention to detail. My 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan is practically new, and this is absolutely unacceptable. I trusted them to perform a basic oil change, and instead, I ended up dealing with an oil leak, a filthy underbody cover, missing screws, and additional expenses. For $140, I expected professional service and proper care for my vehicle. Instead, I spent my own time and money dealing with the consequences of their poor workmanship. An improperly tightened oil drain plug can cause serious engine damage if enough oil is lost. I would not recommend this location based on my experience, and I expect management to take responsibility for the poor service and the condition my vehicle was left in.

Jake at Fast Lane was a savior!…read more I had drove from San Antonio to Cooperas Cove to purchase a vehicle however, I had some concerns prior to purchasing it and needed to access to a vehicle lift (lowered muscle car) I rolled up to Fast Lane on a late Monday afternoon just minutes after closing. As I walked-in a gentleman seemed to be closing the books for the day and looked like the only person around. He greeted me and I apologized for being "that guy" and explained my situation. With a positive attitude and smile on his face Jake said let's take a look Sir. He crawled under the car for a few minutes with a flashlight and then said let's put it on the lift and see if we can take a better look and address your concerns. While on the lift he discovered some minor issues I was unaware of yet, deemed the car safe to drive. With Jakes help I was able to get the seller to work with me on the price and drive my "new to me" car home -- with peace of mind. PRICELESS. Very pleased with the service, professionalism and honesty at Fast Lane Auto. BIG shout out to Jake on choosing to provide outstanding customer service and a job well done! Thank you.

So at the end of June this year, I had to take my 07 Silverado in to figure out what was causing…read morethe squeaking noise. The mechanics told me that they would inspect it and then let me know. We all concluded it had to be either the timing chain or the harmonic balancer. They had my truck for almost a month and I ended up spending more than double what I was expecting. After they replaced both parts, they then claimed that my lifters are going to need replacing and charged me an additional 2 grand for that as well. After paying for the parts they replaced, I took my truck home only to have a new fault come up, low oil pressure. I called them and had them take my truck back to fix that issue and made them pay for it out of pocket being that this fault never occurred before they took my engine apart. Out of spite, they messed up my alignment. When I FINALLY took my truck back from them for good, my truck was driving somewhat straight but my steering wheel was halfway turned to make this happen. I had to take my truck to another shop for an alignment job which cost me even more money. So all I ask is that if you're reading this, please don't do business with these people. They're going to over charge you for everything and when they mess up and you call them out on it, they're going to cause more issues expecting you to bring it back in so they can continue to gouge you. With all the mechanic shops I've dealt with in over 20 years, these guys are the worst.

They wouldn't even look at it at first. They seemed to be upset I didn't let them diagnose the problem originally. I am old school and I'm not stupid when it comes to my truck, I have over 300,000 miles on it and I am the original owner. I can tell by listening to it what's wrong with it and I've always been correct. The power steering pump was the original power steering pump it was whining like a stuffed pig, and the truck was not turning properly not only that I had had it diagnosed at another garage, but they were too expensive regardless,I didn't feel like the attitude was correct. I won't go back there for any reason nor do I recommend anyone else go there due to the attitude I was given. I kind of brushed it off when I left to have them fix it,when I returned to pick it up I felt they were uncomfortable with me being there and barely said a word to me. I don't know what their problem was. I am always nice and respectful to people and never went in there angry or yelling cussing. Nothing I was very polite on the phone with them and very polite when I took it back did not expect to be treated the way I was But like I said it is fixed now and working great. I have usually worked on my truck myself because I don't want or trust anyone else working on it however do eye cancer I'm not able to see as well as I should. My right eye is completely dark now,I hope in the future no matter where I'm at. I'm able to trust a mechanic more than I did this place.
