I pulled in to Take 5 because it was time for my other car to get an oil change. Not the Mercedes that's still under warranty and goes to the dealer. The whole visit was easy from start to finish. I let them upsell me to a coolant exchange since it's been a very long time and honestly it just made sense and sitting int he car while they worked meant I could just relax and play with my phone without dealing with a waiting room. When they wrapped up, they honored the coupon I got from their website, tap-to-pay worked without fuss, and the whole thing felt quick, straightforwrad and professional. I'm pleased with the service and will use them again. [Review 1178 of 2026 - 4827 in North Carolina - 26357 overall] read more

Stopped by this morning to get an oil change. Went well and smooth until 30 minutes later I had major pooling under my car. Went to another Take 5 and they told me I was lucky to catch it because they didn't properly install filter or plug. Have been a long time Take-5 guy but this just put a bummer on all of that. read more

I had an outstanding experience at Take 5 Oil Change today. Armani, Chris, and Stephanie were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional from the moment I pulled in. They each went out of their way to make the process smooth and stress‑free, and their positive energy made the visit genuinely enjoyable. The service was impressively fast--easily one of the quickest oil changes I've ever had--yet they still took the time to explain everything clearly and make sure my car was in great shape. It's rare to find a team that delivers both efficiency and exceptional customer care, but this crew absolutely nailed it. Huge thanks to Armani, Chris, and Stephanie for making routine car maintenance feel like a breeze. Highly recommend this location for anyone who wants friendly faces and lightning‑fast service. read more

The quality of service is second to none! Old school; "putting the customer 1st" is what these folks do well. The greeting with a water and a smile is a very nice touch! Stay in your car, quick in and out service. They really focus on the overall health of your vehicle when it comes to basic maintenance. Awesome concept! read more

Great service, very efficient! Kennedy, Jonovan, and Jalen were all amazing. Quick and easy and very helpful! Got an oil change in less than 5 minutes. Very happy with the service! read more

Great Service!!! Did not wait long. Courteous service. The store manager Francesco was very empathetic to my situation, and to boot gave me some very helpful car maintenance tips for an older car. The car technician Maurice got me in/out quickly. Go check them out!! read more

DO NOT SERVICE HERE. Gave me a defective oil filter, spent hours at shop as the bonehead crew tried to fix problem, they couldn't. Told me to go to full maintenance shop so they could fix it. I did, confirmed defective part. Now, Take 5 is refusing refund. If Take 5 means 5 hours at shop, 5 hours at dealership, $500 in repairs then this is a great location. So many places to get oil changed in Charlotte, no reason to risk dealing with Woodrow, Francisco, Jamarcus etc. handing you a messed up car after a "5 minute" oil change. read more

My first time using Take 5 Oil change and this location and I loved the experience. It was fast, thorough, and I felt safe in knowing my car got the best care. David helped me and was SO nice and ensured everything was squared away before sending me off. He even gave me advice on what I will need to do to keep my car running smoothly. 10/10 would recommend. read more

12:54pm 4 cars ahead of me let's see how we do... I'm not sure if I need a top off or a proper oil change but I know I need it done fast. I was happy to look up Take 5 after having my oil changed last done out of town and finding this one 10 min away read more

Take 5 Oil Change - Four cars ahead of me. These guys are good - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

SUPER SLOW service. I waited 35 minutes before they got to my car when I was already in the bay. Rude technicians who moved in slow motion. Instead of asking me to pop the hood the tech barked "open the hood" like a drill sergeant. They were totally uninterested in the customers. It felt like being at the DMV. Never going back. read more

My first time getting my oil changed here--definitely won't be my last. I appreciated the guys who took care of me here very much. I showed up on a Monday afternoon and there was only one car ahead of me, but the guys were considerate enough to bring bottled water out and ask me if I'd like one while waiting! While I was getting my oil changed, they also noticed that I had my dog with me in the backseat and asked if they could give him some treats, really thoughtful. The service itself was quick, efficient, with transparent pricing. I opted for a standard oil change and a flushing of my car's coolant--all said and done I was out of there for $150. Nice place to have so close to home. read more

Always had great service when I have come here, quick oil changes, friendly staff! And they will top off your fluids for free! This is def my spot to come to for oil changes etc. read more

This place is the new/improved way of the do oil changes! This is like an oil change on steroids I don't live here and I'm bummed that we don't have a Take 5 near my house!!! Super customer friendly service, they are fast and efficient, and took the time to explain what was happening under the hood of my vehicle. We waited in the car while they did their work. I LOVE this business model! Maybe I'll start a franchise in Tennessee read more

Visited the Take 5 in Winston-Salem on Reynolda Road Friday, May2,2025 for oil level check and air in one tire. Was pulled into the middle bay and waited 10 minutes. No communication from the staff at all. I will never go to Take 5 again at any location if this is the level of customer service they provide. My oil change has risen to nearly $100 and this location forgets to offer water, clean windshield and check tire pressure even after they check it off on the receipt. That ain't right! read more

I always go here - the people are super nice and accommodating! I also don't feel like they're ripping me off, which I really appreciate.

Asked if they topped the windshield washer fluid and got a "yes", two minutes later got the warning on dash and when I popped the hood and looked it was not topped off. read more

First oil change on my new (to me) vehicle. I looked up reviews on Google and decided to try this place out based off the awesome reviews. I was greeted with a bottle of water (nice touch) and allowed to stay in my vehicle while it was being serviced. Alyssa and Javid assisted me and were very informative. I was in and out in under 20 minutes. I will be a repeat customer for sure! read more

Super fast service. Efficient, quick, no BS or frills. Almost no wait on a Tuesday during lunch. What normally required blocking off time at work can be done in less than a half hour. There is no pressure to upgrade or go crazy with all the bells and whistles, just straight forward. In and out! read more

Really quick oil change! This is just what I needed. No wait on a Wednesday afternoon. They give you a bottle of water upon arrival. They are a little pricey but you can find coupons online- I did and my standard oil change came out to $35. They do not pressure you to upgrade or replace anything- much appreciated! read more

I have been using them forever but I will not return. Customer service is horrible, would not take the time to look up when my next oil change is due. read more

Not very responsive and was told the way would not be very long. Waited for over 45 minutes before I had to leave to go right down the street to Jiffy Lube where I waited five minutes. read more

Quick and efficient. Ryan was super helpful and knowledgeable and got me in and out!!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Competitors like Jiffy, Valvo, Meineke all try and scam/upsell you - not these guys! I got a very quick oil change, excellent price, and no nonsense. Paris sets the bar for customer service, and his partner Adam is a champ too! Trust these guys to give you a fair deal. read more

Very disorganized. Most take 5s are good, this one is not...No fluid top off, no tire pressure check, no "full service" oil change. If you're looking to pay $100 for just the one service of getting your oil changed (but have them check the boxes that they did everything promised but not do it), this is your place. If you want a full oil change service, go anywhere else. read more

Ethan was the tech that offered the different package deals. I mentiom to him that I had a coupon he was really cool dude. Brian was the tech that did the actual oil change . Ethan checked the tire pressure on my car. Asked if my wipers were good. Out of no where I had another guy started to clean my windows ( Timothy) . I really like this place awesome service Mike the manger came at the end of service to ask if all was ok. Or if I had questions. Great guys I tell you read more

This is my second review of this establishment. I am NEVER disappointed when I bring my vehicle to this location. Adam met me with a bottle of water and I expressed to him that I am relocating to Texas and will miss his genuine courtesy and customer service. He did a thorough check of my vehicle prior to my relocation and I am now comfortable enough to drive from Charlotte to Texas. Due to my weariness from packing the truck the evening prior, I forgot my coupon which was downloaded on my iPhone, but decided not to go back home to grab my cell phone. I love his integrity. Though he was unable to assist me with a discount without my coupon, he still exceeded my needs while adhering to company policy. Adam and the team at this establishment are the reason that I will continue to bring my business to a Take 5 establishment in Texas! Once again, job well done guys! read more

Take 5 Oil Change - This is what they found when changing the cabin filter! Even Lexus and NTB passed on checking this! - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

Friendly, awesome service. Came for an oil change, had the windshield wipers in my Jeep ready to install at home but the guys offered to do it for free. Showed us everything being done along the way. Confident in these guys, wish they were closer to home. Thanks Roger and Adam! read more

Today was my first visit at this location (oil change, filter change, wiper blade change) and I was left incredibly impressed with the professionalism and efficient service provided. It was more than apparent that everyone worked and communicated efficiently as a team. Even being as busy as they were, a team member walked out to my vehicle and provided a bottle of water during my wait. He asked which service(s) I was looking to have completed, and had everything ready to go when I entered the bay. During the entire process (even while waiting) a team member was available for communications, concerns, questions, etc. without hesitation. I will absolutely be returning here for service. read more

They put the wrong fluids in my car... antifreeze where oil goes! This is not acceptable. Tried to make it dem as if they was giving a free fluid flush, just to cover there mistake. If I wasn't aware of what was going on under my hood they would have never told me. This was on Roger's shift. Thanks for Daniel saving the day. I highly don't recommend! read more

Darius in there took care of me!!! Every time I go in there they do a great job! Fast and efficient!

you guys have great customer service skills. the young man Joshua helped me with my cabin filter and even ask me if I needed new windsheid wipers. I've been to take 5 a lot over the years and not one time did they offer me those things. I'm a very satisfied customer and I will be back to this specific south blvd location to let Joshua service my car again when it's time. read more

I came today in my 2017 camaro being a female it's a bit intimidating to enter a male dominated place. There is a lot of mechanics that will say things need to be fixed that are perfectly fine just to earn money . This is not that type of place. I was greatly pleased with the quick service. I don't know this man's name but the brown skin guy with dreads (drives a red camaro ) is hilarious. His customer service skills and great jokes helped ease my nerves. Give that man a raise please. read more

Big fan of this place the gentlemen were fast, courteous and professional. I told them my car wouldn't be driven much over the next year as I am in NYC more than NC and Paris was honest with saying I didn't need the most expensive one which I appreciate. No BS just good service. Plus a sizeable military discount.lovdd the service so much and felt valued as a female customer (y'all know how some shops treat us ladies) decided to go ahead and drop some extra cash on new blades. read more

Terrible customer service at the Lincolnton Nc location. Spent almost an hr waiting behind 1 car.. Watched these young employees just wasting time and talking while we waited. Absolutely no sense of urgency or customer relations. Not one employee updated anyone on why service was so poor and slow. I backed out and left. I'll take my business elsewhere.. Been in management for 20 years. Would fire them all and replace with monkeys..They would do a better job. read more

I never thought that it was possible to actually say I enjoyed getting oil changed but there's always a first time ! Today I drove over to get my oil changed and the guy actually ran out to meet me with a cold bottle of water in his hand and handed it to me promptly. He asked me what I needed and I told him I wanted an oil change and he yelled out to the guys "full service"! Beyond the oil change they actually did everything that they say they're going to do; they checked my tire pressure, they checked my air filters and actually told me I had life left in my air filters and as we know that's an easy upsell for many places. But not them! Washed my front windows and other checks and I was done in 15 mins! Every single one of these gentlemen were great conversationalists they talked with my dog and they were just very very personable and I will for sure be back. I honestly thought for a full synthetic that the price was right and I very rarely give out my email address to get coupons but I want them from this place because I will definitely be back. read more

Greater us with a smile and water bottles right out of the gate. While staff friendly and smiling. It's like that one fried chicken restaurant took over a mechanic shop. In a time when costumer service is lacking, these people are still here going above and beyond. read more
