Christian Brothers does pre-purchase vehicle inspections. They have two types of inspections. One is basically visual inspection and the other is an in-depth check of the car. Of course, I chose the more detailed inspection. When I went to drop the car off, I was greeted warmly by the man at the first desk. He recognized me from the phone. I received text messages letting me know when my car was being serviced, when it was ready, and a link to a report of their findings. The report was thorough. They even attached a video clip to demonstrate something that needed to be fixed. When I picked the car up, they reviewed the report with me further. They didn't push me on trying to have repairs done with them. The helped me decide to purchase the car. The report definitely helped with me being able to negotiate the price of the car to a more favorable price. If you need an used car looked at before buying, they can help you with that!

They were very nice and always kept me informed . We were trying to get back to Fl and I had already had it in 2 other places including MERCEDES in Tuscaloosa that said it would be 5 months and double the price not including the parts for the convertible !!!

When I explained everything to Daniel, he quickly looked to see if any garages were available and then told me to come right in. I arrived about ten minutes later and a gentleman pulled my car in and got right to work. Less than fifteen minutes later, my car was pulled out and ready to go. I approached Daniel and asked what I owed him. He smiled and said, "oh no ma'am, I'm not going to charge you for that." I was utterly shocked by this response and I am so grateful to have such great automotive customer service here in Irondale. My husband and I have been to AAMCO previously for transmission repair on one vehicle and a new radiator on the other and have always been pleased. After my experience today, I know where I will go when I need automotive work!

I was told that it was not my wheel bearing, but my transmission that was making the noise. I went ahead and had the front brakes and rotors replaced. So after have three different people/places (including my boyfriend, who has a master C license) tell me that I needed my wheel bearing replaced, not only time was wasted, but an extra $125 to have someone look at my perfectly good transmission, was also wasted. I will NEVER take my car to them ever again.

They informed me that service was first come first serve but that they did have the part in stock and I could stop by whenever was convenient for me. We got there this morning at 06:55, we were second in line. The service doors opened promptly at 07:00. We were greeted by a gentleman at 07:05, when it was our turn. He took our information and said that it shouldn't be "too long". He directed us to the waiting area and offered us coffee or water. My wife and I sat down and watched the news and chatted for a minute. At 07:30 we were called by the same gentleman and told our Acadia was ready to go. He had it out front, with the AC on waiting for us. He said it was a warranty recall and he would take care of the paperwork after we were gone but didn't want us to have to wait any longer. He thanked us for stopping by and we were on our way. Pulled out of the parking lot at 07:35. Not sure what kind of repair this was or how long it typically takes but was impressed by the customer service and friendly employees. Would highly recommend! Thank you Royal GMC!
