The shop was very efficient. As with all speedy oil change places, you have to provide all kinds of info..Name, Address, Phone, etc. Employees were friendly and it didn't take long. We are grateful for that because we have a long drive facing us. My only issue was that they didn't reset the maintenance message on the dash. I had to pull over and look up how to do that online. that made the experience annoying.

I was in and out quickly, but I never felt rushed -- they made sure I understood everything without overexplaining or talking in circles. Just clear, honest, and straightforward communication. Even though I told them we had recently had everything checked, I asked if they could double-check while I was there. Not only were they happy to do it, they were thorough and transparent about what I actually needed. No pressure, no upselling, no gimmicks -- just integrity. That kind of honesty is rare. I work in customer service myself, so I pay attention to how people treat others -- and these two absolutely set the standard. They represent their business with professionalism, confidence, and genuine care. If I didn't live six hours away and was just visiting, I would 100% make this my regular spot without hesitation. After we hopped back in our car, the check engine light came on, and my Ford Focus (2004 SE, 2.3L) was shuddering/jerking very strongly in idle and in drive. Fortunately, I've had this problem already occur in the past year -- so I knew that a different one of my cylinders was misfiring, and that I specifically needed another new ignition coil (I had paid $600 for parts+labor in West Los Angeles). I called a few auto shops within a mile radius. One said they were heavily backed up with other customers. One said they were booked for the rest of the week. Top Gun said they could look at the car immediately, and could definitely replace the ignition coil within an hour and for ~$300 if that was indeed the problem, so I rolled in. They let me sit with my two cats (in carriers) in the waiting room while they ran diagnostics. Came back maybe 15 minutes later, and told me I was right about the ignition coil. 45 minutes later, the job was done for $300, half the price I paid the first time in LA for a different coil, and we were back on the road for our adventure! I'm extremely grateful that we found them. Great service quality, price and speediness, and a very trustworthy, accommodating and friendly staff. I'd recommend any friend to their facility. Thank you again, Top Gun! :)
