My first impression was that inventory was sparse, just a few leashes to chose from none suitable for my Lab. To be fair the primary focus of this business is not retail sales but dog sitting. Having said that my shopping experience that day was not good. 2 or 3 minutes Within entering the store (I'm the only customer) the woman who greeted me when I entered informed me that she had a retail shipment that arrived that morning and she had to get to the loading dock and get it checked in. The message that sent to me: I'd like you to leave because I have better things to do than deal with a customer. As for the dog sitting aspect of this business the place looked clean and organized. The indoor play area that I saw looked fine and there were a few small dogs playing in it, I was told that there was another indoor pen and an outdoor pen with AstroTurf, but I did not see these. Even though my retail experience was bad I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt with a 3 star rating because a; I'm required to give them a rating, and b: they are primarily a dog sitting service and not a retailer.

We attended an AKC star puppy class earlier this year and now my pup Wendy goes to daycare here…read moremultiple days a week. She absolutely loves it! When I tell her we are going to see her puppy friends, she gets so excited and it seems I never am able to move fast enough to get her out of the house and down to Fetch. We get report cards each visit, and the staff love her. Pictures are posted up on the facebook page pretty regularly so we can usually see sometime the next day just how much fun she was having. The staff takes great care of her and she comes out smiling and very excited to see us. By the time we get her home, she is exhausted from all the play and socializing with other dogs and people. Socializing is very important for pups of all ages and I am so happy we have this option here in Winona. I highly recommend Fetch.

My…read moreChihuahua, Josie, was a patient who had to undergo emergency surgery for an infection in her uterus. They did the surgery, I had vet insurance on her so they knew they would eventually get paid. She was also being treated for what I thought was just a heart murmur, was told she did not have congestive heart failure, she would be fine on medication. A few weeks later, after a second surgery to repair a hernia, she began breathing really heavily, panting, became lethargic. I rushed her to PMC and the vet whisked her away, leaving me frantic in an exam room, wondering if she was going to live or die. During this time, a vet tech comes in, keeps shoving a laptop in my face, asking how I'm going to pay the bill when the vet knew goddamn well I had insurance to cover it. I'm frantic, crying, the tech is STILL shoving the laptop in my face, talking about the cost of everything and trying to set up payment plals, while my dog is fighting for her life in the next room. Soon the vet came in, carrying Josie's lifeless body in her arms. I began to cry and the vet said they did everything they could but she didn't make it. I held her, kissed her, told her how much I loved her and that I would see her when I got there. I handed her back to the vet and ran out of the office in tears, totally broken hearted. I received a letter a few days later, saying they were sorry they couldn't save Josie, but they expected my bill paid in full when the insurance company reimbursed me. The last memory of the last few minutes of my dog's life is the vet tech shoving the laptop in my face, more worried about the bill than my dog. I'm glad I got the chance to hold her one last time and say goodbye, but I will NEVER forget the cold hearted way I was treated. They ought to be ASHAMED! I will pay my bill in good time, but I will NEVER forget the way I was treated the last few moments of my dog's life. If looking for a compassionate, caring vet, run FAR away from Pet Medical Center. Heartless. Cold. Bastards!

Attn.RABBIT -Owners My 9 yr old mini Rex rabbit, Dylan, had…read morebeen favoring his left foreleg and was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in early March 2025 by Dr. Maloney. She felt that amputation of the left leg and shoulder could give him good quality of life and also a few more good years. Although I pride myself on being knowledgeable re. many rabbit medical issues I had never dealt with amputation before. I was concerned not only about mobility and pain issues but the effect of such a "big" surgery on a sensitive rabbit. I balked at the surgery but Dr. Maloney's quiet confident demeanor allowed me to place my trust in her. On March 19th 2025 Dylan had the surgery. What happened next is still unbelievable to me. Dylan was eating hay right after the surgery , needed extra pain meds for only about 1days post surgery , was active and mobile almost immediately. In other words he recovered right away. From my discussion with other rabbit owners on The Facebook group "Tripod Bunnies'" this was an amazing recovery. Dr Maloney told me in post op appt. that she is using her own new anesthesia technique with rabbit surgery by intubating the rabbit. She also uses lot of pain meds that first day. I can tell that Dr. Maloney doesn't just plod through a routine like many but is using an inquiring creative mind and brilliant surgical skills to better the outcome for our pets and us. Is someone sends you to UWL vet school, check with Winona Vet first. You may not have to drive hundreds of miles and pay exorbitant fees after all. Thank you , thank you thank you! Okay, here's the deal. Having just opened up a new bed and breakfast and this being our first…read moresummer season, I had to do some "smooth talking" to my "eco-green" partner about investing in air conditioners for the 2 bedroom suites - the weather forecast being in the upper 90's with a heat index of 115 degrees. YIKES. I need something more concrete than "cooling lake pepin breezes" to keep my guests happy this weekend! I love Fleet Farm. It's like a more "butch" Menards with 1000% better service. The employees constantly ask you if you need anything or if they can help you! Try getting assistance at ANY Menards, you have to walk halfway through the store to track any employee down and even then, it's halfhearted and begrudging at best. So, off we went to Winona, a sleepy river town with a couple colleges and a conservative attitude, maybe a little "redneck" or "hillbilly", but you take what you can get around here in southeasern Minnesota. If nothing else, you're in for some good people watching at Fleet Farm! We tracked down the air conditioners and asked for help, which arrived promptly. "CJ", the expert on air conditioners was so very patient with our questions and concerns. We asked him to take a unit out of the box so we could see it - no problems here and better yet, no attitude. He spent the better part of 20 minutes helping us, even though he was getting more calls to help in other departments. After a thorough "grilling" on amps, decibels and assembly, we walked away with 2 units and I say, give that man a raise! We also stock up on dog food here. It's cheaper than anywhere else, and while walking to the pet department, the help will always ask you if you need assistance with ANYTHING! I like to live by a friend of a friend's adage: IF FLEET FARM AIN'T GOT IT, YA DON'T NEED IT!

Scheduled appointemnt for new Tires today on my Lexus Rx350. Staff said they couldn't do the job…read morebecause they did not have the wheel key. When I got home I opened the back where tire equipment is factory stored. There it was with the wrench and jack. Nothing had ever been disturmed or used it was there in pristine condition as installed by the factory. Fleetfarm tire center wasted 2 hours of my time. I was probably the last appointment at 3:45 and these guys did not want to work. I will be shedding my Fleet Farm card.!
