Okay, here's the deal. Having just opened up a new bed and breakfast and this being our first summer season, I had to do some "smooth talking" to my "eco-green" partner about investing in air conditioners for the 2 bedroom suites - the weather forecast being in the upper 90's with a heat index of 115 degrees. YIKES. I need something more concrete than "cooling lake pepin breezes" to keep my guests happy this weekend! I love Fleet Farm. It's like a more "butch" Menards with 1000% better service. The employees constantly ask you if you need anything or if they can help you! Try getting assistance at ANY Menards, you have to walk halfway through the store to track any employee down and even then, it's halfhearted and begrudging at best. So, off we went to Winona, a sleepy river town with a couple colleges and a conservative attitude, maybe a little "redneck" or "hillbilly", but you take what you can get around here in southeasern Minnesota. If nothing else, you're in for some good people watching at Fleet Farm! We tracked down the air conditioners and asked for help, which arrived promptly. "CJ", the expert on air conditioners was so very patient with our questions and concerns. We asked him to take a unit out of the box so we could see it - no problems here and better yet, no attitude. He spent the better part of 20 minutes helping us, even though he was getting more calls to help in other departments. After a thorough "grilling" on amps, decibels and assembly, we walked away with 2 units and I say, give that man a raise! We also stock up on dog food here. It's cheaper than anywhere else, and while walking to the pet department, the help will always ask you if you need assistance with ANYTHING! I like to live by a friend of a friend's adage: IF FLEET FARM AIN'T GOT IT, YA DON'T NEED IT! read more

Scheduled appointemnt for new Tires today on my Lexus Rx350. Staff said they couldn't do the job because they did not have the wheel key. When I got home I opened the back where tire equipment is factory stored. There it was with the wrench and jack. Nothing had ever been disturmed or used it was there in pristine condition as installed by the factory. Fleetfarm tire center wasted 2 hours of my time. I was probably the last appointment at 3:45 and these guys did not want to work. I will be shedding my Fleet Farm card.! read more

Always waiting for an employee to come and do their job, weather it be in sporting goods or to cash out, plenty of employees playing on their phones, but zero time to help customers. But what really bugs me is the information collection they do, it does not matter what you're buying, they want your address, zip code, or to see and copy your identification. Twice I was there to buy underwear and they insisted on punching my driver's license number into their computer system, I told them no and immediately left the store. read more

Waiting in line for 10 minutes because they don't have any cashiers. I finally gave up and will look elsewhere. Worst customer service I have seen in a Fleet Farm. If you are in Winona go elsewhere for what you need. I couldn't give it Zero stars read more

I love this store, especially during the holidays. It's like being a kid again looking at all the goodies especially at Christmas. The staff are amazing and so helpful. Yes, now we have social distancing and it makes it a bit more difficult, but thankfully I love ordering online and they deliver. I can usually find what I need and delivery is quick. ( just a few days) I love this store and the staff that keep it running so smoothly! Thank you! read more

I went into fleet farm the other day. Great customer service by the employees but one of the managers, Brian, Bill, B- something was extremely rude to his employees and if that's how they treat their staff than I'll be taking my business to Menards. read more

Mills Fleet Farm is awesome. One of my childhood favorite places to go when we'd go to town. When I was little I liked to fish, and they always had a big fishing section, and pretty cheap too, so I could afford to buy lures and even a pole now and then. They also have a good and reasonably priced electronics section, and good candy selection as well. They also have a great hunting and bike selection, as well as sports balls and gloves, in fact, both of my childhood baseball mits were purchased from Fleet Farm. Of course my Dad would be in the store buying real things, but there was always something for me to look at and browse through while I waited for my Dad to finish shopping. Of course, as an adult, they provide needed services at reasonable prices. Store layout is effective, and the selection of products is great. read more

They are great for some things but don't go to Fleet Farm for auto repair. They "couldn't do" the alignment we scheduled with them, but still charged us for the repair. This is the second time we've had an issue with them - the first was when they quoted us one price but then when we went to pick up the car the bill was for a lot more... and they wouldn't discuss it or adjust it. We had no option but to pay the price. read more

This is a lack of recommendation for employment with the Winona Fleet Farm. If the way a store treats it's workers has an effect on where you shop, please take this to heart. The Winona location has a serious cultural issue. I am a hardworking, fairly typical guy who has been continuously bullied and harassed by coworkers since my employment began. I've had personal belongings stolen in the break room, I've had my backpack strings intentionally locked in other people's lockers so I could not take my bag at the end of a shift, and I have been often talked down to, yelled at, and sworn at by individuals and groups of people, basically humiliated by a gang, even in front of customers. I'm often cussed out and blamed for things gone wrong that I am not responsible for. People have even forged my signature, deleted my work, and otherwise framed me. This behavior is thrown at me by kids younger than me all the way through fully grown men and management level. I feel like if I stood up for myself I would come off the bad egg and lose my job. For now it is continuous bullying. I have thick skin, but I cry at the end of many shifts. Workers there of all ages feed off any insecurity. It's vulgar and awful, and is a store-wide characteristic. They don't help a person understand how to do their job, but spitroast them for not knowing how yet. I absolutely dread going to work. It's so engrained in the culture that I don't see it changing. Nobody is addressing this issue. read more
