Vernon is the really the most passionate barber I've ever seen. I brought my fiancée in for a much needed haircut and beard trim after months of letting his hair grow wild. I went to the barbershop following a recommendation from a friend as I needed a haircut for my wedding, and Vernon did not disappoint. Vernon does a great job, probably the best haircuts that I have ever had. He takes his time and makes sure everything is perfect. I didn't give a 5 star rating because of his prices. He raised his price to $35 ( up $10- was $25 ) that is a lot for a man with short thinning hair. If you have a head full of hair or you want a fancy design on your head then yes $35 is fine, but for most white men it's too much. He doesn't do shampoo or hot towel on every cut like he advertises and on his website - Also it states $20 for senior citizen haircuts on his website - I called today to confirm that price for seniors and he said no that was a mistake and it's $35.....that's crazy my 84yr dad would be charged $35.....geez. I bet that is still on his website. He is a great barber but terrible businessman. This is not Hollywood Vernon lower your prices. read more
