I must say they are very pricy but if you are looking for a good alteration in a short amount of time , this is the place to go. The staff is very nice and they have a dressing room so you can try on your altered dress. The place is a little hard to find since its in back of all the main stores but if you need help it's right next to the security station. My ski jacket central zipper had to be replaced. A shop near my home in Los Feliz quoted $60. Seemed very pricey. Found this shop at the Glendale Galleria. For $26 a perfect piece of craftsmanship: the correct plastic weather resistant zipper, smooth flat seams. it looked as if it were the original zipper. moreover, the garment was ready when promised. there will be no hesitation in returning when an alteration becomes required. top marks! read more

There are soo many good things to say about this place, I really dont know where to start. To start with, the customer service at this place is unbelievable. They treated me so good and left an amazing first impression on me. I look my dress to them a week and a half before my event and the amount of alteration needed on it would take any regular place over 3 weeks (since they liked to give themselves some time.) Tailor Town said that I had nothing to worry about and that my dress would be ready in time. And sure enough I got called in 4 days later for a fitting even though their backroom looked packed with other work. What impressed me even more was how professional and knowledgeable they were about what they do. I followed their advice about the length of my dress and I could not be more thankful since what I wanted originally would have me stepping all over my dress and falling flat on my face. Best place ever!! They made the impossible possible! My sister bought a dress from Camille La Vie at the Glendale Galleria. There were some alterations that needed to be made on the dress and the sales associate recommend Tailor Town in the mall. Since we had brought the dress from camilles, Rubina made the obvious pins but my sister wanted the dress more mermaid like (even tho it was made like that). we came by for the final fitting and pick up and They worked a MIRACLE!!! I've been a regular customer at Tailor Town for over 5 years. They were referred to me by Nordstrom. I will go there for my alterations as long as it remains open, and I recommend them to my friends as well. They do a great job, I usually take my jeans to have them hemmed, for an extra 5 bucks they attach the original bottom, so that you can't even tell. The service is great, timely, and professional. If for some reason you are not satisfied with the work they redo it for free. I took a suit jacket in and they made it look and feel like I was born with it on! I buy quality and sometimes pricey clothing, and wouldn't trust anyone else but them with my clothes. The only con is the prices, but they don't accept payment until pickup, and until they make sure that the customer is completely satisfied, and considering the location, service, and quality of work, i'll pay the extra few bucks any day. This place is a rip off. Charged my mom $68 to hem her dress. She barely took off any material. My brother bought a suit for $200 and he wanted the sleeves and pants hemmed and she charged him $130! Ridiculously expensive and it wasn't even same day service! Will not return. read more

I've been going to Tailor Town for six years or so to tailor the occasional suit. The work is fair, the prices high, but their hours are very convenient because they're in the mall. The last suit they did for me was HORRIBLE, I think I could have done as good a job myself. Then today I went in to see if they'd measure my outseam because I'm in a wedding in July and am being forced to wear rented clothing, and they said "no". It's every business's right to refuse to do someone that favor, I suppose, but it's my right to let people know that if they want a friendly, loyal, tailor, this is not the place.
