I handed the woman my repair alteration before stepping into the fitting room to put the pants on so they could mark them. I fully expected to leave the repair alteration with them for a few days along with the pants, but I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped back out of the fitting room area because the woman handed me back my garment with the stitch repair completed & did not charge me for it. I've also had more complicated alterations done to a wool coat & trust them with my garments. I also appreciate their follow up to make sure that their tailoring was done to my satisfaction after I've taken them home.

Unreasonable Prices - Do NOT Recommend…read more UPDATE 3/3- DEFINITELY GO TO DIAMOND'S ALTERATIONS- they charged me $25! I usually go to Diamond Alterations, but decided to try this business while I was at Firewheel shopping today (3/2). Needed a dress hemmed about 1 inch, because it was too long, and I need it in five days, by close of business Friday. For context, provided pictures of hem and dress material tag. The male attendant 'studied' the hem (inner and outer shell) for about three minutes and then gave me an absolutely RIDICULOUS quote of $120!! I guess I'll be going to Diamond Tailor tomorrow or taking out my own sewing machine so I can get the job done in about 15-20 min (5-10 min because I'm rusty ). That is absolutely ridiculous! I'd even pay $50-$60 understanding this is a business, knowing full well the true cost is about $10, but $120?! Absolutely not. My family won't be going back and we do not recommend.

I took it to another tailor who told me they'd have to remove her work for $35 per pant then add elastic. When I brought the pants back to her hoping she would have the courtesy to remove them even if I have to pay a small fee, she refused and said she can't do it, insisting on adding material to the back instead. I also asked whether I could collect the item by Saturday, two days away, and she told me she's too busy and proceeded to pull out a blank calendar and check then tell me it would take a week to get this done. I really did not want to leave a review because she seemed like a sweet person but she should not be in business. Update: I went to two nearby tailors and both offered to remove her work and referred to it as a standard service. I also didn't get a pickup date an entire week out.
