We have 2 cats and one of them has been slightly aggressive over the last few years and lost our normal cat sitter. Alexa came over to do a meet and greet with both cats. We showed her where everything was and what we would need her to do. It went well. She is very responsive when you message her. She shows up when she is expected to and most importantly, she isn't afraid to deal with our 1 cat. We would definitely recommend Alexa!     We booked Jennifer'a service twice, the first for drop in visits while I was traveling out of state…read morefor work and we had a good experience. The second again for drop in visit's but a very poor experience. I caution anyone from paying in advance which is what we did. We were booked September 26-28th for drop in visits anytime between 12-1 as I was again traveling for work out of state. We knew Jennifer was unavailable that Monday but made do. We received a message on Monday confirming the booking and requesting payment which I sent. Tuesday the 26th came and I received a Facebook message at 12:43 pm indicating she had to cancel due to an emergency with her fiancé in Canada and she would refund for the day and she should be back for the next day. At that time of day and being out of state I was unable to find an alternative and my pets remained caged for 10 hours. She did not send the refund for the day. The next day came, September 27th, and again at 12:10 pm another Facebook message came in she was unable to make it, would provide a refund, unsure of when she could make it. I asked for a refund which she confirmed she would do. On September 29th I sent a follow up message and also sent a Venmo request asking for the credit. She indicated she could only give me $20 of the $60 because she was broke and still in Canada. She still did not send even the $20 she promised. I sent a follow up message today indicating I found it extremely unprofessional that she accepted payment in advance, was unable to provide services and unable to issue a refund. I've remained calm and patient through the ordeal and I find myself appalled. She notified me of her inability to provide services with little notice, I was out of state forced to look for alternative care, unsuccessfully by the way both days shortly before her scheduled arrival. I'm asking a final time for you to issue an immediate refund and she indicates she can't and will whenever she returns home. I understand things happen, completely get that emergencies happen. But being unable to provide a refund and essentially spending someone's money without providing services is unacceptable. I can only hope she makes it right however it appears that's unlikely.

When I get my cat home, I think she was looking for the staff. She kind of couldn't believe she was home. I think she missed the staff. It only took about a day for her to get back to her daily routine. Happy to be home, but she was looking for her new friends, what a wonderful job. You could actually tell they were cat people they played classical music for the kitties to relax by. It was so cozy I wanted to stay I have boarded animals before for shorter periods of time. They have always ended up being freaked out, but not this time, she was absolutely relaxed. I think she's looking forward to her seeing her friends again not so soon maybe next year.     We left our cat, Fitzy, at Kitten Around Cat Boarding for about 4 days because we were going to be…read moreout of state for Thanksgiving. In that time, Melinda and her husband took excellent care of Fitzy. At this boarding facility, each cat condo is very spacious, clean, and cat-friendly - lots of places to jump and laze around for the cats. They also allow the cats to have one-on-one playtime outside the condo (I believe only one cat is allowed out at a time). There is ample room and toys for the cats to play with, and playtime is supervised. Calming music is played at all times so the cats can feel secure and at home. The best part is that they offer access to cameras which show you what your cat is up to at all times! The owners of this boarding facility have a great system in place for ensuring that the cats feel safe and cared for (and us cat owners feel reassured that we've left our pets at a reliable facility). When we first dropped Fitzy off, Melinda gave us a thorough tour of the place and details of how they run it. She was kind enough to send me videos of whatever Fitzy happened to be doing, whenever I messaged to ask her how things were going. Fitzy came back home a happy kitty, and my husband and I are very thankful to have been able to board him at Kitten Around Cat Boarding. We feel at ease knowing we have found the perfect cat boarding facility for Fitzy, should we require one in the future.
