I texted Braden and told him I have a painter starting the job this thursday and if he could come finish the trim work before Thursday. Well no response after he said he would try. Thursday the painter said he would include doing the trim. He also discovered one of the garage trim boards was warped from the weather (snow and sun). I had to borrow a friends truck and buy another board. This additional expenses were $125.00 (labor and wood). My new painter had to also redo the caulking job they did since it was lumpy and sloppy. I stopped checking the work after they did one side perfectly. My thought is they were running into another project and started to rush. This was their fault since they didnt start until 9:30 or 10am. They left between 2:30 & 3:30. Braden missed 1 Monday after spending the weekend away and Marc got sick towards the end and missed 2 & 1/2 days. I didnt say anything I figured they were professional and knew the time limit for the job and would complete phase 1. We had to do 2 phases due to it being too cold to paint. I am also disappointed in Yelp. The supposedly had 5 reviews when I hired them and now there is just mine. I think AI reviews were generated or the company did false reviews. Supposedly I can claim money from Yelp guaranty and I cant figure out how to do that! From now on I use word of mouth referrals ONLY.

See my previous review from last year for additional details regarding the quote process and quality of work on the upgrades to our laundry room. We found that Bridges Construction greatly simplifies the entire process by providing a detailed quote, providing vendor recommendations for fixtures and finishes, as well as, the experienced craftsmen to bring the changes to fruition. The project timeline was estimated accurately, and during the remodel, there was regular communication regarding the arrival of various installers such as the painter, plumber, electrician, and tile work. As additional work was requested, this was handled with ease by the Bridges team. An example of this was the addition of LED lights used in the remodel to our existing kitchen. A final comment regarding the quote. The Bridges team provides a multi-page, detailed quote which allowed us to track cost differences as we made our selections of fixtures, vanity surfaces, shower tiles and flooring. I'm confident that you'll find a similar experience and look forward to our next project with Bridges Construction.

We met with Steve Bridges and discussed our ideas with him and met with him at our residence on two occasions prior to contracting with him to discuss our options and to see how we could fit a Jacuzzi tub and a double shower in the space that we had. We were able to collaborate with him to come up with our plan. One of the first things that happened after contracting with Bridges Construction is that we were allowed to meet personally with his suppliers, which were primarily flooring, tile, countertops, and pick out exactly what we were looking for and to use the experience of those subcontractors along with Steve's experience to come up with excellent material choices. Some of the items that we chose were way beyond what Steve expected, but he worked with us to make sure that they were all able to work in our remodeled bathroom and would be installed professionally. During the bathroom remodel, there was constant communication as to who was coming and what they were planning to do. A lot of this came from Kyle and Brandon who work for Bridges Construction. We were provided with cell phone numbers for Kyle and Brandon, as well as all of the subcontractors so that we could communicate with them, ask any questions, and confirm scheduling if necessary. The thing that we liked the most in working with Bridges Construction and their subcontractors were the willingness of the subcontractors to provide their opinions as to what would work best, and how the layouts were to be made. This was most important in working with the tile subcontractor, as we changed the layout of how we were going to do the tile, and it took twice as long as was initially thought. The tile subcontractor did not hesitate whatsoever, taking extra time and effort to do the tile exactly the way we wanted. In conclusion, the bathroom turned out beyond our expectations, and was completed without any issues or complications. We cannot ask for anything more, and are ecstatic at how the bathroom turned out. You should not hesitate in discussing your bathroom remodel plans with Bridges Construction, as they will not lead you astray.

Having them in charge of making sure all the subcontractors did their jobs when expected. If there was a problem with them, DreamMakers took care of communicating with them about the issue. We absolutely feel we got our monies worth. People walk into our 40-year-old home and comment how they feel as though they are walking into a newly built home. After those dates had passed, we sent a follow-up email asking if the bid would be completed soon. It's been more than two weeks now since our walk-through and we have not heard a word from Shawn or anyone from the design team. I am not inclined to beg for an estimate from them. As a family with small children, it takes a lot to coordinate appointments and we do not at all appreciate the lack of respect that this company has shown us by wasting our time.

Kyle did an incredible job remodeling our shower…read more We initially contacted a bath remodeler that advertises a lot, but were turned off at the initial cost ($9K, not including fixtures or even the shower door), wanting half up front and scheduled 90 days out. Nope, not gonna do it. We found out about Moore Than Locks through my wife's office building, where Kyle is the go-to for locks an general handyman type requirements. Checked out his website, saw that he truly did do Moore Than Locks and contacted him for a quote on the job. His job was to just tear out the existing shower, re-align the plumbing (the new shower is 4" wider so had to re-center the fixture and drain) and install the new, as we were able to purchased all the materials through home depot (took advantage of 24months same as cash...hey, why not use their money...right?!). Kyle came out, checked out what needed to be done and gave us a quote. We agreed, set a tentative date for install. He showed up on time, cleaned up after every work day and got the job done in 2 fewer days than expected. As it took less time, his final bill was less than quoted (not something most contractors would ever consider!). The shower came out way above our expectations and has been a joy to use. Kyle is professional, able, considerate and a great communicator. I look forward to using him again on future projects (there are always a few!!) and highly recommend him.

First time I met Kyle - about six years ago - was at my house in S. Reno. I had two other 'professionals' try to fix two of my gas fireplaces in my home, which were broken. Both walked away saying they had no idea what was wrong, yet charged me for their services. Kyle shows up and, I kid you not, after 10 or 15 minutes, he tells me both fireplaces are up and running!!! I kid you not! Since he charges by the hour, my bill was quite a bit less than I was definitely ready to pay. As I walked with him to his van, I suggested that instead of charging by the hour, he charge by the job. Why? Because he's so 'fricken' good at what he does, he would help others but make more money vs charging by the hour. I told him he was too good. He appreciated my viewpoint, but told me he was more interested in helping clients at the lowest cost possible. All I could say was 'Wow!' Where did this guy come from? Fast forward 3 years and I had forgotten the combination to my home safe. I asked Kyle to come by and check it out. Since he's a licensed or certified locksmith, he was able to call the company who made my safe and immediately retrieve my combination!!! Damn! Not only is he amazing with safes, but in the time I've know him (about six years now), he's never walked away from a problem and not fixed it!!! I know this sounds like a cliche', but I was reluctant to even write this review for him, as I'm worried he'll be too busy for me! This guy is a diamond in the rough, without a doubt!
