I found a number of pieces are that surprisingly "global" in fabric and textile design - Japan, India, Indonesia - with simple, clean, architectural drape and shape. Amanda was working when I dropped by and she is kind, helpful, really sweet - and she knows her merchandise inside and out. She's also a fine artist/painter, so her eye is fabulous. Wow!! Talk about gorgeous! I wanted every Zooey Deschanel Peter Pan collared dress and leather booties in the shop. This season was almost Wes Anderson movie lay out. There was little circular green suitcases, patterned shirts, colored slacks and fun printed little scarves for purse flare. I also loved the way the styled the model in a feminine slightly rocker look. The real drool-worthy item in my opinion is the Opening Ceremony purse with a small metal hand closure! Stunning! And with a pair of Andy Warhol's Factory silver shoes styled underneath the purse! Fabulous! The clerk showed me the wallet and it had a black hand with red nail polish closure and the coin purse inside even had a little hand as an opener. This is also a great place to find cards for many occasions! Thank you's and birthday cards are the popular ones. And adorable and soaps for when you have out of town guest! My favorite has to be the double printed pineapple wall paper! It made me happy and I wanted all for myself. I will be making more visits to this little shop and my wardrobe will thank me and my wallet will hate me. We can't all be happy. Sorry wallet!
