Pizza here is amazing! I got slices of prosciutto argula and san gennaro and omg were they delicious. Very small place and it's tight in there when they are busy. But the food is so worth it
Pizza made from quality ingredients from Italy. The Roma rectangular pizzas are sooo good. Tight space and long waits plus hard to find parking makes this place more for pickup while another waits in car. A definite recommend.
The quality is out of this world. Im so excited that Dario from Dario's pizza is now teaming up too because the dedication to quality and taste will consistently be amazing. For what you're getting the prices are really fair in my opinion. It can seem steep to alot but you're not going to find this value is most basic pizzerias. And trust me...it is worth every penny. The heros are stuff and full of flavor. The pizza slices are huge packed with toppings. I highly recommend ordering on the app bc this place gets crazy and can get backed up.
Saw that this pizzeria in Mineola has been top ranked, not just in the city or state but nation so I decided to swing by to try it out myself! This place is known for their Roman style pizza which is similar to Sicilian. Therefore, I did not order the basic triangular shaped pizzas to try nor did I base my rating on their plain cheese slice. Upon walking in, I was greeted by one of the employees asking what I want. I asked which slice is the most popular and he told me the buffalo chicken Roman slice, barbecue Roman slice, and the burrata regular slice. Unfortunately, I only had room for one slice and I definitely wanted to try one of the Roman slices they had. There were so many choices I almost couldn't decide but the potato Roman slice called to me especially when it was topped with rosemary (my favorite!) At the cashier, I saw the frozen drinks and asked the lady what they were - one was piña colada and the other one was margarita. I ordered a piña colada, but after I paid they informed me that the piña colada was not ready and gave me a sample of the margarita to try to see if I was ok with it. I tried it and it wasn't like any other margarita I've tried. It tasted very refreshing since it was frozen and it was more lemony than margarita-y. I sat down at one of the 7-8 tables and began to enjoy my slice. It was very good and I've never seen potatoes on pizza before. I will definitely be back to try more Roman slices and the burrata regular slice since it looked very good behind the glass too. There is a restroom at this pizzeria and some diagonal parking in front which is also shared with the Mineola LIRR station.
Solid pizza. My third time coming here, but honestly the first two times I didn't get such great experiences with the pizza, maybe because I tried the really special slices. I didn't particularly enjoy one of the slices the staff recommended to me. I asked for something with more protein. He responded they all have protein and recommends me something that had so much onions and so little meat. Decided to stick to the basics this time and it was decent. The vodka sauce was creamy. Top it off with some cola and we have a solid meal.
Oh how I am so happy we finally tried the pizza here. I couldn't help myself. I had to try 3 slices. The potato slice was out of this world. Oh the satisfaction. I could eat this forever. The texture and flavor were incredible. The eggplant slice was a 4/5. And the veggie no cheese was also superb. The crust is the best I've ever had. This place hands down was the best pizza I've had. Service was great. Store was small but clean.

These two brothers are visiting someone in the hospital nearby and after that they're going to be making their first ever trip to Taglio. What can I say? I can't come here without going and getting a few slices and I refer everybody. I know to this great place. Just giving thanks on Thanksgiving.
There's some hype about this place being one of the best pizzerias on Long Island. I'm not an expert, but it was okay. Wasn't bad, wasn't great - middle of the road.
Pizza was delicious! Great selection of different pizzas - reasonably priced, space is small so getting a table might be a bit difficult during peak meal times. Service was pretty fast. You know it's good when you see local NYPD going in and out consistently getting their orders...

The few times I went, I was able to find a spot within three minutes.
WOW. I've been dying to try this pizza for awhile. I happen to be in Manola today so I figured I have to go. It lives up to all the hype. I tried the Margherita , regular slice, pesto/vodka/margarita slice, and the grandma with pepperoni. All of it is insanely good. I wanna go back and try every single slice they have. lol.
Tried to give it another chance. Walked in and thought I walked into a nightclub. The music was ridiculously loud, so loud that I couldn't hear myself speak. I felt bad for the older couple that was there. They looked very agitated while eating their slices because of it. Got a BBQ chicken slice which oddly looks exactly like another slice from another pizzeria but I won't name names because apparently it triggers cocky people. The sauce on the chicken is tasty but there was barely any mozzarella cheese and the chicken was inedible. It was burnt and overcooked because the chicken bits are so small. And AGAIN the bottom was charred, not even burnt this time.

Had the regular slice one Sunday right after opening. All pizzas were just made, hot right out of the oven--no heating needed! The manager told me that they use Caputo flour --no bleach, no bromate; and that they also use Nuvola flour for high hydration. My slice was delicious. The premium ingredients used were worth my $6.25. The interior was clean and tidy, and the customer service was top notch. read more

Amazing find near the mineola train station! It appears to be a pizzeria in the middle of nowhere where. But it is a gem! When you walk in you see cartoon characters art work on one side, flour and tomato on the other, and a counter displaying many of the different pies they make in front. There is a line to order pies and a line to order slices. Was you approach the back you see the menu flashing across the screens. What to choose, what to choose. There are over 20 types of pies you can create. You can have it "Roman" style or round. Be a little healthy and order one of their salads! Don't forget to get a cold beer or one of the fun Frozen sangria or margaritas. Everything was delicious! You can't go wrong with whatever you order. Looking forward to coming back to try the parm plates or heros. Looks amazing!!! read more

7-30-25. My 2nd time here. Definitely a notch above your average Long Island pizza joint. You can certainly taste the quality of the ingredients they use to prepare their pies. Today I tasted a white slice, a mortadella and pistachio slice, a broccoli rabe with sausage and peppers slice, a New York pepperoni slice and a burrata slice. I have to say they were all really good but the pepperoni slice and the burrata slice were fantastic. The doough is excellent and it has just the right amount of char which provides a blend of crunchy and chewy that will have your taste buds wanting more. Most of the slices are $6.25, which I feel is a little steep even for today's prices, but as I mentioned, the quality of ingredients provides a noticeable difference. It's a pretty busy pizza place and they do a lot of take out. If you want to dine in, there are probably about 9 or 10 tables inside......so if you walk in, grab a table because they get gobbled up quickly. My only issue with this establishment is ordering is a bit of a sh!t show. There's plenty of people behind the counter but they aren't all helping customers. They shift back and forth preparing pizzas, taking orders and checking on what's in the ovens. If you don't speak up and are a little pushy, you might get overlooked or others "in line" may just jump ahead of you if they make eye contact with one of the employees before you do. read more

5 stars! SO worth the hype. The texture is unreal and unlike any other slice i've had before--so airy! If you're placing a to-go order you have to order online as they don't take orders via phone. When I got to the restaurant, I got to watch them put fresh basic and cheese which was so cool! Even though this place is quite the hike for us, I would definitely go out of my way to get it again!! read more
Taglio has a reputation for being one of the best pizzas in NY. Boy are they right! Let's start with the service. Very good, staff was great. The place is tucked away but it's a nice spot. Now on to the food. Pizza is as advertised, the Roman style is delicious and not greasy. It's a bit pricey but worth it. Go eat here!! read more

WOW! This place absolutely lives up to the hype. Every slice was fresh, flavorful, and seriously delicious. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is spot on - they balance a modern feel with TVs and great artwork, while still keeping that classic, casual "stop in for a slice and a Coke" pizza shop vibe. Clean space, great energy, and definitely worth going out of your way for. I'll be back for more!!! read more

We came to Tagglios after hearing it called "the best on Long Island" and even seeing claims that it ranks #3 in the country (a bold statement that sets the bar high.) The regular slice was excellent: crisp yet chewy crust, and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Classic, well executed, and satisfying. We tried a few of their specialty slices the mushroom truffle and burrata were both solid, but the real standout was the potato, mushroom, and rosemary. Surprisingly my favorite earthy, savory, and beautifully balanced. That said, claiming to be the third best in the nation is a big responsibility and one they don't quite live up to. For Long Island, it's definitely a top contender. But compared to NYC pizza standards, it falls just short. Still, I'd give it a solid 8/10, which is pretty impressive. Worth a visit if you're in the area and craving a quality slice. read more

This location os prime!!!! Near the LIRR, hospital and just a nice hustle and bustle of mineola. Indoor seating was sufficient enough for the busy time of a day we got there. I loved the custom artwork throughout the place, obviously thats why i snapped some flics. But most importantly, the pizza...... SPOT ON!!!! I seen bbq chicken slice and of course had to get that. To begin it was cooked to perfection, from the crust to the dough to the temperature the sent it out at. The best part of the slice was the pieces of bbq chicken though, that had a really great bite to them and just were the exact bbq it needed. I also had a vodka slice which again hit the mark spot on from every aspect of enjoyment you can think of. The regular slice with pepperoni was crunchy, with stringy hot cheese and just the right amount. Of pepperoni on it. The pepperoni was cooked to crispy and like little cups. It made me want to go back to try the many other style of pizzas they had but i decided to just promise myself another trip to this gem of a pizzeria read more

Being Italian and raised on homemade pizza, I can tell you that what makes Taglio's pizza superb is the quality of their ingredients. All imported from Italy, it's what all pizza should taste like. The crust is super thin and crispy which I like. No coal or wood oven here, just electric so don't expect a woodsy or charcoal taste. The crust has sesame seeds on the round pizza so just know that if you can't have seeds. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the very loud pop music playing. Not that I hated the music, but it's a small place & not everyone like loud music. It could be more neutral and serene. This place was voted the 3rd best in the country. I'm not sure about that (because NY has THE best pizza anyway!) But I will say it's the best sauce, prosciutto & mozzarella cheese I've ever had in a pizzeria! 5 stars for the sauce, minus 1 star for the Uber loud music. read more

Was excited to try out the #3 pizza place in the US (also #99 in the world)! Conveniently located right outside the Mineola train station - for when you're grabbing a slice on your way to or from home; we saw a lot of people in their work clothes grabbing boxes to go. They also have online ordering available, which is what we did but honestly the line seems to move pretty fast - so I'd say not necessary unless you have a large order. The price is reasonable, with most slices ~$5 and specialty slices at a higher price point and each slice is substantial with lots of dough and toppings. I got the Classic NY Slice which was everything you want in a slice - saucy without being drenched and crispy. I also tried the Palate E'Rosemario Roman Slice - the dough very much resembles focaccia, really soft yet crunchy. While I knew flavor was going to be simple (potato slices with rosemary and pecorino), it was almost too simple for my taste - whether it be punchy peppercorns or flaky salt atop or more rosemary, needed a little oomph. But that wouldn't stop me from coming again - I'd love to get a whole pie of their Vodka Roman Slice, delish! read more

I spent $50 on a pizza from Taglio, and it was completely inedible. Ordered a New York-style pie -- half sausage and mushroom, half burrata -- and the whole thing came out burnt. Not wood-fired crisp, but truly overcooked and bitter. The toppings were fine, but it didn't matter. The crust was so charred it ruined the entire pizza. The burrata side, which should've been creamy and fresh, was dry and disappointing. For $50, this was a huge letdown. I won't be coming back or recommending it. read more

Pizza best I've had so far in Long Island. Very crispy love the taste very fresh. Service was quick and attentive. Very hip place music was good not loud. Also have TVs showing sports at the time. Definitely worth trying out. Thank you for the great piazza really enjoyed it. read more
