I've been a lifelong jersey resident and I cannot believe I didn't know about this place. But of course once I mentioned it to my parents they were like "oh yeah, we know Damask ! They're delicious!" If I remember correctly, the nice girl at the counter was telling me they've actually been there since 1950. It's completely family owned, homemade candies. And let me tell you this chocolate is absolutely delicious! And so nice of them to offer samples at the counter. I've never had a sea salt caramel that tasted so good. And the chocolate covered pretzels are to die for. My mom absolutely loves the buttercream, and my dad is a toffee fan. But you cannot go wrong with their signature "Candy" which is actually oyster crackers dipped in chocolate. You absolutely have to try this place if you pass it.
