This quirky and vibrant restaurant has a prime location in downtown Regina. It's also very family friendly. And the staff are very attentive, which makes me very happy to see. I ordered the Bacon & Buttermilk Waffle ($18). It was good but very sweet. I was in love with giant chunks of bacon IN the waffles. In addition, the presentation was very nice and the flavours worked great together. However, as a natural savoury breakfast lover, I'm glad I went out of my comfort zone but I don't think I would order this again. I'm happy to report that my family members that ordered other sweet items were saying how excited they were to come back again! They loved it and can't wait to try something new next time. Needless to say, my family and I will definitely be returning.

The sound bounces and it is very loud in the small space; no soft furnishings or amendments that would baffle the sound from all the hard surfaces. Our S-I-L was there the next day for lunch. The service was prompt and courteous. I ordered the cinnamon bun pancakes. The dish was delicious and decadent. Portions are quite good and the flavor was great. The issue here is it is missing some variety in dishes for those who are vegan or vegetarian. The dishes rely on heavy ingredients such as lots of cream, oil or sugar. Overall the experience was great and would definitely come back.

I've had two disappointing experiences at this restaurant. The first was a few months ago. I was…read moreexcited to finally find a place in Regina offering risotto as a main course. Unfortunately, what I received was nothing close to risotto--it looked like mashed potatoes with cream cheese. When I asked the waitress what type of rice was used, she didn't know and had to check with the chef. She returned saying it was Jasmine rice. For anyone who appreciates authentic cuisine, risotto should be made with Arborio rice, cooked al dente, and prepared with the right ingredients. Calling that dish "risotto" was misleading. Despite that, I decided to give the restaurant another chance because it's close to my workplace. Today, however, I had an extremely uncomfortable experience. I had made a reservation for two yesterday and requested specific dishes (soup and salad). This morning, due to work commitments, I asked the other person to cancel the reservation. Shortly after, I received a call from the owner. His reaction shocked me--he was rude, aggressive, and argumentative, even as I apologized. Instead of trying to understand the situation or find a solution, he kept escalating the conversation. When I tried to mention customer service, he was completely dismissive, so I ended the call. I overlooked my first bad experience and kept going back, but after today, I will never return. Think twice before visiting--if this is how the owner treats customers, imagine how he treats his staff.

The Mac n cheese poutine had very little Mac in it. Just tasted like regular poutine. Could barely see any Mac. And ... here's the kicker...they don't know how to make a grilled cheese! A grilled cheese restaurant that doesn't know how to make a grilled cheese. the grilled cheese was dry. No butter . Grilled cheeses are made by buttering bread, adding cheese inside, and grilling the outside where the butter is. This looked like it was made in a panini press-- with no butter. Just dry. For $25. It was so odd.

The sauce that came with it was just the perfect addition; a hint of spice to mix it up a bit. To be honest, I didn't expect to enjoy it this much. Since it was so big, I honestly wasn't sure how or where to start but I ended up holding it straight up and chomped down (sounds normal or weird but it was a struggle to keep everything inside the chimichanga) My sister ordered the tacos and she's always enjoyed it so no complains from her (nor more review cause I forgot to ask )

Our waitress was awesome and very personable (wish I could remember her name for this review). Our order came within less than 5 minutes and each type of wing was DELICIOUS!
