a variety of food on a table

We had the best catering for our pool party! The tacos were all delicious as well and the salsas, rice and beans. Everything was very fresh! I highly recommend this family restaurant for your next event, they were very nice and helpful. Thanks again!

Family run by two cousins, Tacos Wow! is a tasty local spot that has breakfast burritos and many other dishes like tacos, asada fries, Chile relleno, cocktel de Cameron, etc. You really can't go wrong eating here. There is a parking lot in the back and a rear door.

Carne asada fries not good

These are the carne asada fries , 1-10 there a solid 4 the fries aren't crispy there soggy not a lot of meat kinda just placed on top the price for this is 12.99 I would've expected more this is not Roberto's !! I miss Las Vegas that's the where the real carne asada fries are beast at !!!

No chips ):

Not that wow in the end. I ordered 2 wet burritos and only one set of utensils came. No sauce as well and I had to ask for some sauce and was only given 3 small cups. Burritos were okay, but I just love it when tacos shops give you proper utensils and sauces without needing to ask. Might try again next time

Super Nachos

Super yummy nachos! Will definitely come back for the nachos again but not the nacho fries. They have very thick raw potato like fries so stick to the chips and you'll be happy. I ordered online and the food was ready super quick!

Yummers! Carne Asada and El Pastor

I had Tacos Wow booked marked for a few weeks now. A hankering for tacos on a...yup you guessed it...a Tuesday! I ventured over to Tacos Wow, when I have a hankering this bad I'm a little scared to try something new for fear I would be disappointed. There were no customers inside so I was able to put in my order immediately, which was also what I was worried about, having to wait since I didn't call ahead, but then I wondered why there were no customers? The lady who worked there was so nice and friendly, I ordered one Carne Asada taco and one El Pastor with rice and bean which only came to $5.99 plus tax. Once I got home and had the first bite I was in heaven, everything tasted like authentic home cooked Mexican food, if I closed my eyes I would immediately be transported back to the last time I was in Mexico. The next time you have a hankering for Mexican food in the valley...don't walk run! To Taco Wow!

2 asada tacos & 2 chorizo tacos clearly burnt.

I went to this taco spot because it was close to where I was working & I ordered ahead. Once I got to the restaurant my order wasn't ready & they had forgotten about my drink that I ordered over the phone. The cashier wouldn't have remembered if I didn't say anything. I ordered 4 tacos 2 asada & 2 chorizo. The asada tacos were alright I've had better. But the chorizo tacos were so bad. They burnt the meat to where it was black. It wasn't enjoyable. I didn't even bother going back. If you're craving tacos just go somewhere else.

Best asada fries! I added Pico de Gallo

The best Asada Fries ever! I added Pico de Gallo. If you're ever on this side of the valley, definitely try Tacos Wow!

Best asada fries and tacos I have had in a while! The meat was so good and everything tasted fresh. Hidden little gem, must try!

They immediately rebuilt in the same location, but it was only now that we were able to return. I see many differing reviews, mostly 3-4 stars, but I have to say, we LOVE this place. I don't know if their having to rebuild had anything to do with improving what was already great food, but this visit, the food was better than ever. We usually find their rice and beans to be a bit bland, but we never cared because we were too busy filling up on the tacos, chips, salsa and guac... but THIS time... I completely polished off the rice and beans. They really added a lot of flavor to both items. The rice was really flavorful, and the beans really had a nice punch of flavor, too... more than in the past. As for the shrimp tacos, I always get the same delicious, stuffed with loads of shrimp tacos served on freshly made corn tortillas. I avoid their hot sauce cuz it's way too hot, and I nix the cilantro cuz I just don't like it. I still get the chopped onions but ask that they only give me a small amount (they usually put on as much onion as there is shrimp, and that's just too much for me. I do, however, add lots of guac and the milder salsa (the chips salsa), and my tacos are then perfection. The 3 tacos, coupled with the rice and beans, we loved every bite of food we had. I'm so glad that freak accident of someone crashing through their window didn't ruin their business forever. It was a pleasure finding them back in business, better than ever. Now if we could just find our way to getting here more frequently, that'd be ideal !!

They are still very tasty, but it's taking a big bite out of my pocketbook. I know everything is expensive now and I am taking it into consideration. I'll move Taco Reyes to the bottom of my list and maybe in a couple months I'll go back and Hopefully the price will be better.

Let's start off with location wise it's very centrally located in the valley so you can get to it fairly quick. Parking was not it's best. It is on Ventura Blvd so street parking is very difficult. They do have onsite parking in the back but there's only about 5 spots only and it seems like most of them are take either by staff or delivery vehicles. Now walking into this place you are def transported into a very lively Mexican culture that is undeniably amazing. I loved the decor and how you just feel at home. They are playing music the whole time loud enough for you to feel the vibes but still be able to have conversations. Now the food let me just say 10/10. I had the mole the presentation is amazing and the taste of it is even better. My fiancé had the aguachiles con mango which he says are also a 10/10. Finally my mother ordered the queso birria tacos which were pretty good as well. The margarita flight was def my favorite, I am not a big margarita fan as they tend to be a bit sweet for my liking but these were actually pretty well balanced and delicious. Overall I had a great experience the service was good. Will def be coming back and will recommend.

Came in last night to celebrate a friend's birthday (they have happy hour all day Mon-Wed) and was pleasantly surprised. My friends started off ordering the HH guava margaritas, which they enjoyed. I ordered the coconut margarita (not on HH) a must !!!! Not overwhelmingly sweet and tasty! We ordered and rated the following dishes: Guacamole: 9/10 HH tinga Nachos: 7.5/10 (flavor was there but most chips were burnt) HH Taquitos papas: 9/10 great flavor and sauce HH steak tacos: 7.5/10 the corn and portion of meat to the taco was very good. The steak a little well done for my liking. Enchiladas verde: 9/10 great portion honestly enough for two to share. Rice and beans were okay. Beans a bit salty and rice was a bit bland. Would definitely come back for the apps and drinks! They also have brunch which looks like fun.

From the moment your plate hits the table, you can tell you're in for something special. The burrito is massive, perfectly wrapped, and completely smothered in a rich, flavorful sauce that strikes that ideal balance between bold and comforting. Every bite is loaded with well-seasoned meat, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of cheese melted over the top. What really sets Las Fuentes apart is the depth of flavor. The sauce isn't just an afterthought--it's the star, tying everything together with a savory, slightly tangy kick that keeps you coming back for more. The rice and beans on the side are just as impressive, clearly made with care and not just filler on the plate. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the overall experience feels authentic and satisfying. Whether you're a wet burrito lover or trying one for the first time, this spot will raise your standards. Las Fuentes isn't just good--it's the kind of place you start craving the second you leave. The service and vibe were also amazing. I was so disappointed in the food and service! I ordered a tostada (besides my better judgement of ordering what I typically do, which is a gringo style wet burrito). I specifically asked the cashier if it came in the fried shell bowl. She said yes and that I can choose between flour or corn. I asked if the size or look were different, and she said no, so I ordered corn. It came out as a plate of just unseasoned mess. The carnitas were extremely dry and had no flavor, despite drowning it in whatever sauces were available. My husband's plate is what he normally gets too, carne asada plate. Dry and no flavor. A nearby table received their order and they also ordered a tostada that came with the shell. I asked the waitress (who was the same lady to took our order) what they ordered and she said tostada. When I told them mine came out the way it did, she said that was my fault for ordering corn. I felt that it was misleading despite me asking questions. She said she will bring out a flour tostada. I was fine up until this point because it was a simple mistake on both our ends. However, another waitress who brought out the flour tostada started speaking to me in Spanish, then repeated in English "this is flour, this is corn (while pointing at my plate)" in the most condescending manner. I will never go back here and I understand why the ratings have gone down significantly. They opened another location in Chatsworth, with worse ratings and I can confidently say I will never go back nor recommend it to anyone!

I came for lunch Friday afternoon around noon with 3 others and it was pretty busy as it was peak lunch time. You can tell it's a popular spot. You order at the counter first and then get a spot. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but it was super windy the day we came, so no one was sitting outside. I got the Alex burrito without cheese and sour cream for $13.25. Asked for a recommendation for the meat and was told their al pastor is really good, so I went with that. I liked that they call you as they're making your burrito, so you can customize it further (which kind of salsa, onions and cilantro, do you want it cut in half, etc.). As a picky eater, I really appreciated that. We all got burritos, and one friend paid an extra 3 bucks to make it wet. Chips come on the side, and you can help yourself to salsa at their fresh salsa bar. This is the first taqueria I can remember that has a mild tomato salsa without raw onion and very little cilantro. I was excited to see that finally there's a salsa I can eat. My Alex burrito was one of the best burritos I've had imo. The proportion of meat to beans to rice was perfect and the rice tasted great. The al pastor was amazing: super flavorful and smoky. I usually feel like most burritos taste about the same to me, but I definitely found myself enjoying this one more than usual, which says a lot. Also, they're generously sized here. I wasn't able to finish mine despite my best efforts and packed the last quarter to bring home for dinner. I'd like to end my review by mentioning how polite and friendly everyone was, from the guy taking our order to the guy making the food. I was really impressed by this as well, since taquerias usually aren't exactly known for their service. I can't wait to come back!
