Review #1,082 Posted on 7.8.26…read more We stopped in here for a late night burrito & quesadilla on Sunday night the 5th after driving up from the Bay prior & getting checked into our room. This spot is located in a small strip mall shortly off the freeway on La Palma Ave in Anaheim. The food was really good, I was impressed with the meat portions in our burritos & quesadilla. There was a ton of meat. Both the red & green salsas were hot but still edible too. The rice & beans were quality as well. Highly recommend hitting this local spot up as they stay open late, and serve quality food.

For starters, they no longer have tripas. They raised the prices. There is far less meat in the tacos, and to top it all off, they're always out of something at the self-serve condiment bar. Even though buche is a rare find and still on the menu, I won't be back.

But this time I felt uncomfortable, the ambiance was so off. .. No customer service from cashiers. No welcoming, it was like let me see your ticket pay and go. Cashier (s) were having conversation between them, not once acknowledging me. One girl kept saying ones ones, as she looking at me? Idk if was in training , or whats the purpose of 1 girl being there as the other one is the one taking the handling the cash. As im standing to pay I start hearing The whole cook line started making a noises to each other. Not a whistle more of That noise that you make that means look at that. And then the whole line started making it. Im looking around to see if I see anything.. the place just felt off. Kinda made me feel like they possibly were talking about me. Idk this visit felt off. Just thought id share

Meat: 10/10 -- flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. Service: 10/10 -- friendly, fast, and efficient. Price: 10/10 -- surprisingly affordable, especially being so close to Disneyland. Food overall: 10/10 -- absolutely worth the trip. The atmosphere is more of a casual, fast-food-style Mexican spot, and the building itself is pretty small and can get a little warm inside. But for me, a restaurant doesn't need to be fancy when the food is this good. Great food will always make up for a simple location. Easy 5/5 stars from me. If you're anywhere near Disneyland/Anaheim, definitely give Tacos Manuel a try. You might leave wishing you lived closer too
