The location is unassuming along with the interior of the restaurant but trust me this will become your new favorite spot. Si estás en Lake Geneva y se te antoja comida mexicana sin arruinarte, sin duda te recomiendo venir aquí y descubrir uno de los secretos mejor guardados de la ciudad. i am writing this in spanish and english so whomever reads this will be able to understand my thoughts. This is a small whole in the wall type of spot. It is rather unassuming because of its location and appearance on the outside but it is wonderful inside! This is certainly a family owned and operated type of spot which is always nice to support. There is a spanish grocery right when you walk in then a mexican restaurant in the back. Everything is cooked fresh and is priced very fairly. I got three tacos de carnitas and they were delicious. I took them to go and ate them once I got home. They were still hot and the salsa they gave me to go with the tacos was awesome too I used all of it! I think for three tacos I paid 10 dollars and they were worth every penny. If you are in Lake Geneva and you are craving a mexican meal without destroying your finances I would certainly recommend coming here and discovering one of the best kept secrets here in town!

She corrected it and apologized, but there are many times I never really look at the bill, I just pay. Well $47 for 1 torta, 1 soda and a side chimi with cheese should NOT be $47 - it was $32 once corrected. Food: it was ok. Not very much flavor. The ground beef in the chimi (tasted on its own) was bland, just tasted like plain ground beef. Again, not the worst - not the best where I would crave to go back.

We found parking quickly on the street, and ended up asking for a seat on the outside patio, which was nice - although some bees and hornets were around (another group that was sitting outside opted to go inside because of that). The indoor seating area is on the smaller side. Menu prices are only viewable via a QR Code - you can read a menu but there are no prices on the menu they give you. Our wait staff/server was young - I felt she was not too customer-oriented, nor too helpful or attentive. The food was mediocre - we did not really enjoy our visit. I ordered a taco and a tostada, both with chicken. When we got our checks at the end of the meal, they had automatically added a 20% tip to the check. You can only pay via an app or online, so be prepared for that. You must pay very close attention the checkout screen online when you pay - they give you an option for adding ANOTHER tip - you could be easily tricked into thinking you did not leave a tip, but this extra button is on top of the tip they automatically added to the bill. Pay close attention - my button was AUTOMATICALLY selected to add another 25%! This felt so sneaky. My recommendation is to avoid and find other options for eating in the area.
