Food was so amazing !! Guisada was so tender! Great presentation on the Gordita, super friendly staff!! If you're in the area, you have to stop here. Cafeteria style and very clean. Family owned.

We have been going to Martinez taco for 30 years but had not been in a long time. We decided to go this morning to see if it was still the best and we were not disappointed. I order simple potato and egg tacos with beans. I also ordered a tender delicious Asada taco which I mixed with my other tacos. My husband ordered the Lengua tacos 2 different kinds and he got a sausage taco. The owner's son and daughter run the place now and they remembered us. The parking is easy and the inside has nice clean tables. We were stuffed and really happy with our breakfast choices.

Delicious food. Tacos are always full, it's like getting 2 tacos for 1. Homemade flour and corn tortillas. Service is prompt. Always a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend Tacos Martinez. You will be satisfied.

Chorizo and papa taco 4/5 a little too greasy. I know, they are greasy but this was dripping. Tortilla 5/5 big, fresh, and fluffy Green salsa 5/5 fresh and flavorful. Put it on everything. Puffy taco 5/5 meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Puffy shell, great. Barbacoa taco 4/5 a little bland but great with the green sauce. Not very greasy.

So I've been coming to this establishment since I was knee high to a grasshopper but it' WAS hard to break tradition. I remained a customer even with the consistent prices increases; which seem to go up every time I go inside and can be seen on the menu with changes to the prices "masked" by coincidentally pieces of masking tape. Today I went into the establishment and was "helped" by Victoria and as I watch the men ahead of me get heaping spoon fulls (literally 2 per taco) this bruh literally shook of papas from my papa ranchera taco and gave me half a spoon serving. I typically get 3-4 tacos and eat them throughout the day but on this occasion I stopped at the one because if this lady was gonna be skimpy with potatoes, then lord only knows how she would be with the carne asada and tripas. Pictures attached to show uncooked and skimpy potatoes. The owner did say they would remake the taco but she literally was the only one back there so I just got my refund and he gave it with argument. Not as if I was expecting one; this man spends more time and has more conversation on the phone than with the actual customer. Seriously; smile more, make any kind of eye contact, ANYTHING.

Well saw a big piece of metal in the tripas and the server was ignoring me when I was telling her what I saw. When she took it out she just threw it away and just kept serving food and pretty much continued to ignore me. I've been her several times before and enjoyed it but not sure if I'll come back if I'm ignored and don't feel safe wring the food.

I came here as a recommendation from a friend and it was pretty much spot on. I love the way you walk in and you head toward the line as if you were at a buffet line. You pick what you want and how many you want, if you order a taco just tell them what you want on the taco and it is piled on your homemade tortilla. I must say I was a bit disappointed at the size of the tortillas but the taste of the taco made up for it. As you go down the line you can order tacos or caldos homemade soup or even a plate. Once you pay you head to your seat and indulged in your creation of a taco. Refills are available in the middle of the room where they have some drink canisters filler with either coffee or tea. I know it's a very visited place as you can see where people come in to pick up there phone orders and the line seems to always be filled with patrons.

Service is fast, place is decently clean for the foot traffic, the servers all look happy and eager to work. I ordered tortilla soup, I usually like it with a cup of rice and avocado like most places serve it. However, I definitely think this is a safe Mexican food restaurant when it comes to not overdoing it with spices and the extra stuff. My soup had a decent amount of chicken. I had a mimosa, loved that they used fresh orange juice. Flour tortillas were delicious! Before heading out you need to have the sweet bread!! So goooodd!

People say when in San Antonio, do like the San Antonian's. Nobody really says that. I mean, I just…read moredid, but I also just made it up. With that being said, let's make up a review. Except I'm not actually making the review up, I've been to the place. Both San Antonio and the restaurant moments away from being reviewed. I'm always down for solid Mexican food. It's always pretty damn good. I mean, at the pure base of things, it's basically the same few ingredients, just different vessels to get it to your mouth. I'm never bad about that. I love transportation. Mi Tierra was a pretty great looking place. Plenty of space, a nice outside waiting area, plus a bakery. I have never been to a place with a bakery that I didn't like. It seemed like a very authentic place, and that's coming from a resident of Michigan. A resident that eats Taco Bell. A resident who eats Taco Bell and think's THAT'S authentic Mexican. The first thing I noticed was that this place did not seem to serve burritos. Not a marker really for me, but it was something I've never came across before. I also thought that you were stuck ordering enchiladas or tacos in a meal type of setting. Upon further questioning, you can order a la cart. That was a relief. I ended up ordering the enchiladas Verdes because sometimes I ignore my color palate and go for green. And because I can't just stop eating one form of meat, cheese, and sauce, I ordered a taco. Actually, I just ordered a taco because I wanted a dryer enchilada. Or did I order the enchiladas because I wanted a wetter taco...I don't know anymore. Anywho, I ground beef, American style taco. Now, I've always been a big fan of chips and salsa. Some salsa hits, some miss. Some salsa is pureed and is basically red water. Some salsa is just a full tomato. I like my salsa like I like my orange juice. With extra calcium. Wait. Mild pulp. That's it. This salsa pretty much hit those notes. Had good flavor and a little spice left to linger. The main course came out and everything looked delicious. Green enchiladas looked exactly like I expected. However, it took me a moment to realize I was not looking at a burrito...but instead, my taco. It was served a peculiar way. wrapped, seam down, with a little bit of the meat on top, pico and lettuce on the outside, next to it. It was a burrito peacocking as a taco. I've never seem this display before, and I have been to many Taco Bell and non-Taco Bell restaurants. The taste was pretty good, though. All the taco flavor in a burrito jacket. The enchiladas were pretty decent, too. Everything tasted like it had all the ingredients and that they were in all the right spots. No doubt about it, I was full after e

We started…read morewith the Pan Fila Conchota combo that is a combination of the two that is 1/2 gallon of hot chocolate made using a base of Abuelitas with additional cinnamon, and cocoa along with something special. It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
