Service was ok. When I asked them what the specialty of the house was they just stared at me. When I asked him what was good they just stared at me, they finally said well some things are popular. As far as the ambience it's okay it's cool. but as far as the food. I had three tacos a lengua, a chicken and and a al pastor. The pastor was okay the chicken was good but the lengua was flavorless. The tacos are tiny with little to no meat the lengia costed extra by far should have been free it was more like a sample at Costco this place probably has potential but too expensive for the size of food. read more

Stopped by after work to pick up some dinner. Inside is casual and they have a good amount of seating. The staff were all friendly and the food came out quick. I ordered the Carnales Fries with Asada as my choice of meat. The portion was generous. They use a mix of cheese sauce and shredded cheese which I enjoyed. The asada was flavorful. The salsas weren't bad but I wish they had a little more flavor. Overall, it's a pretty good spot. read more

My family and I were craving tacos so we went to yelp and google to find a hot spot close to where we were located. I found this spot and after reading a mix of reviews, I decided to give it a try. The place was cute, small inside and clean. They play only Mexican music which is fine. I order street tacos steak and the first bite made me mad. It taste like fart and the meat was under cooked. Most people do eat their beef cooked at 70% however in a taco it should be fully cooked no pink showing. Customer service was friendly but I would not come back. This place is amazing! We usually take the food home but today we stopped by and had our meal outside and it was gorgeous. They have live music and the fight going on Netflix plus they have some wildlife to feed a couple squirrels I know I shouldn't, but it was amazing. The service is just unbelievable. This place was basically empty, but i gave it a chance since it was our first time there. Im not gonna lie, it really pissed me off that my taco had like 5 pieces of meat, asked for avocado, i know it is extra, but only gave me 2 little small slices on them!!! Are they effin kidding? I paid extra for 2 small slices of avocado and a tiny amount of meat? Mind u, the prices are not cheap either. $3.50 for a taco with the least amount of meat? My expectations for the tacos weren't high so trying them out was definitely a surprise. I had buche , asada and lengua , all do the meats were juicy and tender and the tortillas are hand made . My biggest complaint would be the lack of spice in the salsas. I wish there was a spicier one , but definitely some solid tacos for an establishment read more

I was craving a burrito and had been wanting to give Los Carnales a try, so I did. The burrito was okay in flavor but I was very disappointed with the amount of Al Pastor in the burrito. It was literally a Rice burrito with a sprinkle of meat. I definitely wouldn't recommend the burrito. My wife had some tacos with various meats and she fed me some to try and I will say the quality of the meats was delicious. 1st let me just say this was my favorite place to get nachos but after today this will be the last time I come back here !!!! I ordered the carne asada nachos no nacho cheese just Monterey Jack cheese I get them and very little cheese at first I thought they didn't put cheese but when I got the fork to show them it was literally a small amount. It was like having just chips with meat, hardly and beans I was disappointed. I asked the cashier Jesus to remake them and his response was I can't do that! So I said you can't remake something you guys did wrong to start. He said no because he was told by management that he isn't allowed to remake any food!!! He made me repay to have them remake them. Kept the wrong ones! So basically I paid for two orders of nachos. I have never experienced that poorly customer service and the response was even more upsetting. First off I've driven past this place so many times and didn't even realize it was there because it's so small lol. The customer service we got was awesome the gentleman who helped us was very friendly and answered any questions we had about the food. It didn't take very long for us to get our order and he gave us all the salsas they had so we could try them. They all had some good flavor and the habanero one had a nice kick to it. This place is a gem. Came last night about half an hour before closing. This is always a huge potential hazard: a lot of places mail it in after dinner rush and you get the worst quality food of the day in the last hour. Not here. The chicken was extremely juicy. This in itself is an incredibly rare feat: I've actually stopped ordering chicken tacos as much at Mexican restaurants because it's almost always dry, especially in comparison to carne asada, carnitas, and/or al pastor. While I can't yet compare the chicken here to their other offerings, as I only had the chicken, I am happy to report this is the juiciest chicken taco I can remember ever having from a Mexican place. Phenomenal. And did I mention the price? It's incredibly affordable. Two tacos with a side of sour cream were less than $7. And they gave me a ton of sour cream. The green sauce is great, too. I'm always on the hunt for some good nachos. I was really excited to try Tacos Los Carnales because their photos of their food looked really good. We came in and ordered to go. The guy helping us was very nice and helpful. There's a decent amount of seating inside and a huge patio outside which is really cool. I ordered a couple tacos and my nachos with the chips on the side. I'm happy they were able to accommodate my request. I used Yelp to provide a number of options and chose one that looked good and unfortunately was a miss. Today I found what I was looking for at Los Carnales, like the Phoenix rising from the ashes I saw if from my car window, I knew it was the place and as I pulled up and heard Nortenos playing, I was home. I had the Huevos con Chorizo, served with rice, beans, salsa, chips, and your choice of flour or corn tortillas. I chose the corn tortillas and man they were awesome, hand made, fresh and hot. The beans and rice were perfect, beans creamy and nice paired well with rice that had a hint of garlic and freshly prepared. I used the tortillas to build little breakfast tacos and to sop up the last bits of rice and beans......sabroso! The service was perfect, welcoming and pleasant and appreciated the business; tge cocinero came out to say thank you and good morning as well.....nice touch. For the money, this place is a hit, I am definitely coming back to try the tacos on Taco Tuesday and have a cold beer on the outside patio, spacious and open. So let me start off that the food is excellent! This is more about the price. One large horchata was 6.00. I just about died when I seen that. Went to this place on recommendation of my bosses. They said "we are Mexican so you can trust we know what is good!" Drove over to order to-go. The parking was small but, not busy. I was greeted by a friendly cashier. She gave me a quick recommendation on what was popular and answered my questions. The restaurant was small and could accommodate about 30 people inside, yet they also had outdoor service. The decor was Route 66 inspired, R&B playing inside and Mexican music playing outside. The tables were high and could handle a large party. The food came out relatively fast, it was wrapped and labeled well. Plenty of salsa, napkins and utensils was given. The salsa was spicy and flavorful. The flan was sweet but not overly. The food was hot and well-seasoned. Overall I will be returning and bringing my family next time! read more
