My husband and I love trompo tacos, tacos, Mexican food in general but every Mexican restaurant that we've tried near our home has been just okay or not good. For dinner we decided to dash our food since we had a long day and everything was still super fresh, hot, and delicious. Perks? It's very close to our home! We're very picky about cleanliness in the flavor and when we say cleanliness we mean the ingredients they use and how fresh everything was when you open your meal and that first bite. The first bite was the trompo taco fully dressed with extra green sauce....soooo good and it hit all of the marks. We highly recommend and we're definitely ordering here again! Sauces - 9/10 (green sauce is my fav) Peppers/onions - 9/10 Beans - 9/10 Rice - 8/10 Trompo tacos - 9/10 Asada tacos - 8/10 Asada burritos - 8.5/10

I was actually wanting a grapefruit Jarritos, but they did not have it. The young lady who took my order said the Squirt was Hecho en Mexico, so I took it. I didn't even know Squirt was grapefruit flavor. It did the trick! Anyways... back to the reason I stopped in - Tacos! The Tacos de Trompo were served hot and fresh and they were quite tasty. They were served with fresh cilantro and onions and two small lime wedges. They were also a few grilled onion slivers and a grilled Serrano on my plate. The young lady who took my order was friendly and was kind enough to bring my food out to my table. I really appreciated that! The only negative aspects of the meal were that I would have liked to have had more cilantro and onions, and either one more lime slice or two larger lime slices to begin with. Also, the lime slices I got were a little aged, but I still managed to squeeze out just barely enough. The house made green and red hot sauces were not very hot at all. That was kind of a bummer. All in all, I would visit Taqueria Garcia's again. So, if you're in the neighborhood and have a hankering for Street Tacos, you should give this spot a go. I did not visit the restroom, but because it was obviously not inside the restaurant, I assumed it had to be accessible only from the outside. No biggie with that. Tacos... one cannot go wrong with Tacos! Eat well. Be well. Cheers!

I got a full meal for 10$. 3 tacos (pick any 3 from their quite big menu options), along with a side of rice and beans, and some onions and lime to add to the tacos. I got a potato and scrambled egg taco, a ham and scrambled egg taco, and a chorizo and scrambled egg taco. The potato and the ham ones were good, although the chorizo wasn't my favorite. It was pretty early so I obviously went breakfast with my choices, but they had a variety of options ranging from barbacoa to chicken. Their creamy hot sauce was really good, although the red sauce was too thin for my taste. I'll be back again to try some of the non-breakfast tacos. Upon my arrival to this very unassuming little joint, located in the parking lot of an El Rancho Super Mercado, I began to wonder if I was even at the right spot. The building look's like somebody just plopped a box down, has few windows, and has plain white entry/exit doors 180 degrees opposite each other. Entering, I was hoping I was in the right place and using the right door. I was and I did. For my tacos, I ordered one each: Chorizo, Chicken, and Beef. To drink, I ordered a Jarritos Lime soft drink. The tacos were served traditional street style - two small corn tortillas for each - stuffed with meat, onions and cilantro, with a couple of lime wedges on the side. The lime wedges were super juicy and the tacos were hot and delicious!! The red and green sauces were not as full-bodied as I prefer (I like the sauces to have a solid color, smooth almost creamy look, with no seeds visible.) and neither was as hot (spicy) as I would have liked. Both sauces had about the same heat level - a solid "Three." Nevertheless, I wholly enjoyed my tacos and would definitely visit Los Compadres again! The person who took my order was friendly. The prices were reasonable and my appetite for tacos was satisfied! If you're in the area and looking for some good tacos, definitely give this little shack a try! You won't regret doing so. Also, you'll probably wish you'd ordered more tacos than you did, so go ahead and order two extra! You'll eat them!! As far as amenities, there is a handwashing station inside the "dining area," but I left not knowing whether there was an actual restroom on the premises or not. So, on that note... "go" before you go! Eat well. Be well. Cheers!
