Waiter who my guess is the owner recommended the chilaquiles and they did not disappoint. I ordered them with Machaca over the top. The meat was so soft and filled with flavor. Spice level was perfect. I hate when the chips are soggy and these had the perfect crisp to them. Beans were good and truthfully an egg is an egg Would definitely recommend this place! 5/5

It was a much-needed remodel compared to how it was with the previous business. He also have a choice of seating to the right from the entrance or boots and to the left from the entrance our tables. As we walked in the door, the restaurant looked very clean and everything looked new. We were greeted and given a choice of where to sit in the restaurant. We were given menus to look over and made our choices. We were served chips and salsa while we waited for our food and the chips were nice and thick and crispy. The salt was a bit different. It was more blended than I expected. I would've preferred small chunks of tomato chili and onions and to see a little bit of cilantro in there, but the salsa was not bad. We went with; Carne Asada burrito grilled to a crispy golden brown. Also ordered the two taquitos which is a crispy rollup taco with chicken, lettuce, tomato cheese, and guacamole. Our drinks, we ordered ice water with lemon wedges and one Horchata. The Horchata was huge enough, for two people. A little bit on the sweet side, but just added a little bit of water and it made it perfect. Our server gave good service and checked on us to make sure had everything we needed for a positive dinning experience.

La Misión Market - Restaurant 800 Whitley Avenue,…read moreCorcoran, California 93212 (559) 992-8300 Have eaten here about a dozen or more times in the last month. The cooks and cashiers rotate from weekday shift to weekend shift. Food quality fluctuates. My favorite cook is a latino male that wears a baseball hat. Whatever food he prepares he prepares it as if he were eating it himself. The other cook carelessly throws the food together and they serve it however it hits the plate. The flavor is different between cooks, weekday cook scores a consistent 5 out of 5, weekend cook scores a 3 out of 5. You might think that the difference is nominal, no the difference is night and day. The portions are exactly the same, the food prep, presentation, temperature, flavor, assembly and plating are night and day. If I owned my own restaurant, I would probably try to scalp the male cook and take him to my business to work instead. He is definitely a diamond in the rough. My coworkers repeatedly warned me to only order food if the male cook was cooking. I completely disregarded them thinking, how hard is it to put a burrito together. Surprise! One day I ordered an asada burrito to dine it that I was unable to eat, the burrito was still hot and fresh but the flavors were simply not there. There are several cashiers that work at the restaurant, one lady is short nice and wears a pony tail. The second cashier is a very young lady (age 19) who struts around like she owns the place. The young one sometimes works as a cashier at both the store and the restaurant. Young lady snaps back, is rude, borderline disrespectful, and she ignores customers when they ask for napkins, spoons, spicy sauce, chips, etc. Frankly I would be really surprised if the young one was not the owner or family of the owner. The young one conducts herself in a dismissive, unfriendly, arrogant, and unprofessional manner. If she truly is not the owner or owners family, she has absolutely no business working in customer service, fast food, or retail. With the wrong cook and the wrong cashier, these two can drag this restaurant into the ground. Management should intervene and have better oversight of their workers and food quality. Overall, the food and service are so good when the food is prepared right, I will still giving them a 5 out of 5 because the male cook and the short nice, pony tail cashier go above and beyond for their customers. I don't know any of their names. Thanks a million. You know who you are. Highly recommended. Jordan

The salsa and guacamole were homemade and so fresh they tasted as if the tomatoes and avocados had just been picked. They make the chips fresh onsite too, and the menu also includes burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Alma, who's mentioned in other reviews, is the waitress and sometime cook, and she was warm and friendly and gave us a lot of information about the area, as we were just visiting. We learned that she personally offers homemade tamales at the holidays, and we'll plan to get some. If you aren't looking for an impressive environment, Reyna's is worth the stop for some great food.

We walk in, we were not immediately greeted. We were literally in the lobby for about 3-4min until I asked if we needed to seat ourselves or will she seat us. She immediately responded to seat ourselves and she would be right with us. Menus are horrible and so dirty that there's mold. The host/waiter asked us what we wanted to drink as she brought us our menus. I had to ask her for a minute while I glanced at their drinks. I ordered a michelada and it was so salty I didn't finish it and left more than half of it. The food is exactly what I can make at home. Nothing fancy or delicious looking as to coming to a restaurant. I ordered fajitas which did not come out sizzling rather than old chicken smothered with tomatoes and chiles. I had to get up from my booth and walk to the front to get the waiters attention and ask for a water since my michelada left me so dehydrated. The waiter never asked us how were we doing or ask us if we needed anything only after I had to call her to ask for some water. THEN, this older lady came by and asked us if we were okay right about when we were about to get up from our booth. She even asked why we didn't drink our micheladas. Just to not make it a big deal we didn't say anything. I would not recommend this place at all!! First and last time I go there!

They have a beautiful still and the distillery and brewery equipment are all on display alongside the restaurant and bar. Fairly typical small town bar & grill layout. On this day, we ordered at the bar. I'm not sure if that's always the case. We got a variety of entrees and all six of us liked our meals. Tri-tip steak sandwich, French Dip, tacos, fish and chips, and I got frog legs and deviled eggs from the apps menu. Everything was tasty. However, they only had 3 of their own beers on tap and no tastings available of their spirits. Said their brewer and distiller hadn't been in for quite awhile so production was behind. I wish them well as they work thru their absences and ailments. The two beers I tried, a porter and a schwarzbier, were ok. So, right now, it's a fine eatery, but a disappointing brewery & distillery.

The owner needs to do better when it comes to service." My wife and I have been here six or seven times and have noticed the service has been steadily going downhill. This place was empty, and the server behind the bar was accommodating when there wasn't anything more pressing, like answering the phone. Our party of four ordered four entrees, two appetizers, and some beer and sodas. My beer flight and my wife's beer came out lukewarm. When the appetizers came out with the meal, the server told me that if I wanted the appetizers before the entrees, I should have told her when I placed the order. (She didn't bother to ask when I wanted them.) She doesn't seem to understand that an appetizer is a dish of food served before the main course of a meal to stimulate one's appetite. My sides of tater tots were so cold, I took them back to the counter to get reheated. I was very disappointed in my Tuesday lunch. Hopefully, you will have better luck than us.
