My wife and I walked in. I've been there a couple of times and liked it real friendly and real helpful because we did not know what we wanted but they helped us tremendously. I recommend this place. I rate it a number four most definitely would go back again I had breakfast there. read more

We do NOT recommend this restaurant, The food was really greasy and got my hand full of grease even though we told them to please Squish the tacos before they gave it to us This place should work on their food and they won't be seeing us coming ever again read more

The food is delicious and on certain days they have specials. Every Tuesday is Torta day( $6.99 ), you get it cheaper than the regular price, Wednesday is Taco day ( $1.50 ), and Thursday is Burrito day ( $6.99 ). You know where I'm getting lunch on those days. read more

This review is for the weekend BBQ. About a month ago some buddies and I were having coffee and telling lies a couple doors down when we began to catch a whiff of wood smoke. When we walked back to our trucks we see this giant open style BBQ with chicken on rotisserie, it looked delicious. Since it was early morning we went on our way. Over the course of the month I would see this happening on the weekend. Well today I finally gave it a shot. Apparently El Grullo took over the place next door and is trying something new. I ordered a half of chicken and a half rack of ribs to take home. Both chicken and ribs were moit and had a great flavor. I was pleased. This is exactly what this little town needs hopefully they start offering this during the week. I will definitely be back. read more

The food here was so good. I love coming here. There are days when the tacos are cheaper which is on Wednesday. The service was great. After looking at the specials I really wanted to get a churro too but I decided not too. The ambiance was well decorated for Xmas. They did update the pricing a bit but still very cheap. read more

Waited 40 min for some food that they didn't even start making them I just asked for a refund they didn't even apologize there food is so good but there customer service sucks the owner needs to do something about it cuz it's not the first time there customer service sucked read more

This restaurant has low ratings for a reason. I placed an order for a breakfast burrito with sour cream at 11:00am. Due to COVID-19, I was asked to wait outside for my order, which is fine. The waitress told me they would let me know my order was ready. I was the only customer in the building so I didn't think it would take long to receive my order. I sat at the table right next to entrance so the waitress could see me there to hand me my food. Twenty minutes went by, and no one came out to give me my order. So I decided to walk into the restaurant, and she handed me my burrito through some makeshift screen. I snatched my food and walked out. Also take a look at the sloppy way they wrapped it too. As for the breakfast burrito itself, I opened it up and there were french fries inside instead of potatoes. The carne asada lacked flavor, and there were several pieces of un-chewable fat and cartilage. There was no salsa inside the burrito at all. I will not be eating at this restaurant again. I'd give zero stars if I could. read more

My family and I ordered takeout from here a few weeks back. The food here is always very good! However it took around 45 minutes to have our food ready, and it didn't seem all that busy. I usually get tacos or a burrito which are always good, but this time I decided I wanted something spicy so I went for the Diablo fries. MY GOD they are spicy!! The flavor is great, but they are not for the faint hearted! read more

Really good tacos. Really good tostadas. The chipotle smoke flavor they get in their red chili is so good and pretty unique for this spot. Over great little taco spot read more

It's a shame this place seems to attract weird reviews (but that's the tone of some people - review just to be mean) - but the place is really great. My wife and I routinely come to Taco El Grillo when we're able to (in CA to see family) and we resist eating elsewhere until we get there. Massive dishes and absolutely authentic taste - my wife is a little woman and she can devour a huge plate of nachos by herself. I tend to go for the carne asada (delicious!) or the carne el gusto plate. Prices are really fair, but be warned - the meals are big so you might limp a bit until you've digested it all. Ignore the 1-review trolls: give them a try. We think they're great and can't wait until we can travel back for more! read more

Was not good the cashier doesn't even know the menu your employees need to learn the menu that when a customer calls in and asks what comes in the food the customer is ordering and then she doesn't even ask for the name for the order and just hangs up train your employees better read more

There's definitely a reason this place doesn't have many good ratings. The cashier was polite but you can tell she didn't want to be there. Which wasn't the problem at all, the problem was the portions & even worse the taste of the food. I got 3 cheese enchiladas with rice & beans. Enchiladas had cheese that wasn't even melted, rice was bland, & beans were even worse. So plain, no seasoning, no flavor, nothing. I had just got my food from next door where they also own & was so excited because I haven't been here in such a long time. My friend & I ate our pasta while we waited for our food & as good as the pasta was we were excited to have some good Mexican food after. Such a HUGE letdown. We were so disappointed, we didn't even finish our food because it was so gross. They are so better off putting more money into the pasta place next door & promoting them more. read more

Would not recommend this place. This is the "super" burrito. I got larger burrito at chipotle and they are known to be stingy. I would recommend espuelas down the street. They always have larger burritos and you get your moneys worth. Taste wise this place is ok, but not the first time I got a to go order and thought "not enough food, pricey, and I left a tip why?" Next time I'm just going to the taco truck in front of aldolfos or chipotle. Shame how stingy this place is. Get their combination plate to go ... you'll only get a taste of rice and beans (small portions). Helpful business tip: don't scare off all your customers in a small town. read more

Nice service and food is great . Had the wet carne asada burrito. It was delicious. We have been several times. Great prices and menu

Came in for the first time this afternoon and ordered the special queso barria tacos, and my husband ordered the enchilada plate. First off they gave him asada tacos not the enchiladas he ordered but he didn't wanna wait so he ate them. He enjoyed his tacos. The beans and rice was really tasty. As for my queso tacos. HORRIBLE. They fell apart, not much flavor and I've been SICK AS HELL all day after eating them! Horrible stomach issues and acid reflux, burping up the onions. Pretty sure I have food posioning! Do yourself a favor and don't order the queso tacos here. Go out to Compadres off 18th read more

Pretty much plan on them getting your order wrong and you won't be too disappointed when they inevitably mess it up. ‍

Tacos El Grullo in Lemoore. I have always loved this place, today was the last straw for me it's been worse and worse each time honestly, last two times I have had issues there, I understand everyone has "off days". So I really try not to let a couple bad experiences ruin places for me, I don't know what happened to this place, customer service had gone down the drain I have been treated so rude. Ordered a asada super buritto, and asada quesadilla. Literally half the buritto is tortilla, I asked for extra chilie, there is none at all. Hardly any meat. Quesadilla just has meat and cheese and the cheese isn't even melted and there really is not much meat in the quesadilla either. they used to have a little "bar area" where you get lemons, carrots jalapeños chille ect. That's hasn't been there awhile now but I ordered all of that on the side was charged for it and didn't receive it and asked that it was put in the bag and she confirmed. The time before that it wasn't put in the bag and the lady rudely rolled her eyes at me placed it in the foil and threw it at the counter and it slid all the way and one of lemons fell off and hit the ground I caught what was supposed to be the carrots and jalapeños as they slid off of the counter which is why the lemons hit the ground. Got home and there wasn't even carrots. I could go on and on, no need for it, really sad and disheartening when this place used to be decent to eat at. Again I don't know what happened to this place but I will never ever go back again. read more

Not an authentic Mexican restaurant. Really disappointed on the food. TERRIBLE customer Service. I ordered flautas (hard shell rolled tortilla tacos), I ended up getting regular chicken tacos. When I went back to the cashier about my order, she looked at my like I was speaking another language which was very annoying. Wasn't able to fix my order. Also little portion on the sides when I asked for rice and beans. Four table spoons of rice at max, beans tasted burnt. 1/10. read more

We love this place great food great service and the portions are huge! Oh man try the green salsa.

Nice new updates to tables, chairs and menu boards! Looks great compared to the old, dingy stuff that kinda made the place seem sketchy, especially late at night when this is the only option besides McDs, Taco Bell, etc. I've always enjoyed their chicken tacos, but this time I got one of their fish tacos and it was great! It's made with a big hunk of real fish that isn't bread-battered beyond recognition. It's just a nicely seasoned, healthy seared piece of fish. I'll be back for more! Yo so I walked by and that shit smelled so good I told my fiancé and her mom we should stop and grub. They were down so we went in and received horrible customer service. Check out what my girl has to say... I just have to say that I'm never coming back here, this place just had completely awful service, we walked into the restaurant and there were three women behind the counter, we walked up to the counter and literally asked the same exact, simple question 4 times in a row "is it two for one taco day?" No response until minutes later, once they had finished talking, did a lady sigh and ask us what our question was, we asked once again and she finally responded very rudely and said that we were mistaken and that the deal on the window displayed a ad for 8pm-12am, which we thought was 8am-12pm. Simple mistake on our part indeed, however every single one of us felt as if this these women were judging us, the way they glared, spoke and reacted to what we had to ask spoke volumes. ...so yeah that's my fiancé lol but ALSO the food was expensive and hella sucked. The tables are nice though read more

Update: My husband brought me one of their burritos last night. It was so greasy that the to go bag was coated in a film of oil, the foil was coated in grease, and the tortilla was coated in grease. Again, we were offered none of their salsa. I hear it's really good, but I wouldn't know... Good sized burrito. Only thing I'd change was make the asada more tender. I ordered a burrito and it came with these awesome pickled vegetables. That was a nice surprise. I was disappointed that I wasn't offered any sauces. read more

I use to love going to eat at this restaurant. The service and the food have changed drastically. The customer is never right here, do not ask for any alterations to the food because it's denied (my hubby likes flour instead of corn tortillas and apparently they can't do that anymore). Waited well past others that came in and placed their order after me, I feel this was intentional. Just another place that has not been the same since Covid restrictions began. The food has smaller portions and not as tasty as before. I'm hoping it gets better with time. read more

A three star because the asada taco combo plate was good. Small portions though. The cashier was pretty unapproachable. I asked her what a drink was made out said she didn't know so I just got a fountain drink. I told her have a nice day she had no response. I'll probably go back but I will know now the cashier isn't happy to be there. read more

Not bad but once I ordered a chili verde burrito and most of the meat with fat, so gross. The asada salad is very good but I honestly feel like they add to much of everything else and the salad can get soggy BUT still good for a quick lunch if you want just tacos read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Only giving it 1 star because at least the horchata was good. I ordered Chili Verde Fries & a quesadilla. Let's start by saying the fries were absolute garbage. They didn't even care to make fresh fries they gave me old fries that had been sitting out put the meat and toppings on it then MICROWAVED it. Microwaved fries are absolutely disgusting and well that's what it tasted like. Absolute disgusting food. I had to try 3 different sodas before I got one with actual flavoring not just the carbonation. Honestly HUGE waste of money! Do NOT come here! It taste like week old microwaved food! read more

Great food. Good service Large menu selection and it's all good food. Always enjoy the food and drinks

The carne asada fries were terrible!!! Greasy, and half the food was melted to the styrofoam. The salsa was sour, and the Carne was dry. It didn't do justice to the comments that I heard that it was "great". My mom ate there as well and her tacos were dry, and rubbery. The tortillas weren't fresh and you could tell that they had been sitting there. While sitting there waiting, my mother and myself saw an employee take some of the food that was left on a plate and scoop it into a container in the back and placed in a microwave, and served to another customer. I will not be coming into this establishment again. That was awful!! read more

This used to be my go to for Mexican food. The tacos were always so good. Until about a year or two ago. Something changed, the meat does not taste the same, even the red salsa seems watered down now. There is so much fat in the carne asada that after every couple of bites, i am spitting some fat out. Sadly, this became an every taco occurance. I stopped coming here. Best tacos in town now are at Panchitos at the Cheveron gas station off highway 41. read more

Tried the phone number all morning to order ahead, no answer. Had to come in in person and wait for the food to be made so I had time to do this review lol. And they confirmed no the number did not change and the cashier seemed unphased when I let her know I had made multiple calls that were unanswered ‍ she just stared awkwardly at me without so much as an apology or attempt of an explanation of why I couldn't be helped over the phone. I am only here because someone back home has a specific craving or else i would have left for the lack of care this business has for its customers the food taste good, the atmosphere is dead, no customers here, sad Spanish music of some guy cry singing, the floors and walls look just like they do in Mexico, there is plenty of little dispensers for kids to spend their parents change for some toys/ candy, they have Pepsi products including the glass bottles, a few beer options, 3 tvs, undershirt parking lot. The cook that handed me the food was very sweet, but the cashiers attitude ruined the overall experience for me. read more

This place has great food, great seating and lots of deals on Monday - Wednesday it looks like! $1 tacos on Wednesday. We came on Sunday and had some carnitas it was delicious read more

About as good as it gets in Lemoore. I've been coming here for years and even though the prices have been going up, the quality and quantity of the food has stayed the same. I am a big fan of the taco plate with rice and beans. The $6.99 price tag is also not a bad deal either. The menu board can use a little updating. Having the prices crossed out and written over with magic marker makes it look cheap and gives the impression that the owner does not care. How much would it be to update that board anyway? A couple of hundred bucks? Easily recouped in a day or two. Otherwise, the store is kept clean. The bench seating could be a little more comfortable too but I guess it's not mean for people to lounge on all day either. The breakfast here is out of this world I'm told. And from what I remember, the menudo and pozole here are amazing as well. Cheers! read more

I usually come to this place to get taco's for my family for dinner. I has always been consistent however, I purchased 10 taco's at their Wednesday promotion hoping that I could have some tacos for my kids when they get home from school. I ate some and it was so spicy it was not edible at all. I'm Asian and I'm use to spicy foods but this time it was horrible that can't even eat it. I called the establishment and I told them the issue and asked if they can remake it. The lady that took my order asked her manager and said No they can't so, I'm left with tacos that you cannot eat that would just go to the trash. Horrible customer service and will never come back here again. It just goes to show that this place is always empty when we come now, they lost another customer thanks for nothing. read more
