Another first. Came this way just to ck this place out. My buddy Rob and I drove over an hour away to get this. So freaking glad we did. This was off the hook. This place was awesome! We had the special menu Palmita Mulita and DAM! Off the hook. It took a few xtra minutes, but be patient! It's worth the wait. Jesus took great care of us. This is a must place to stop if you're ever near by! I highly recommend this to you.

So my friend kept hollering about this truck , every time we're on the phone I swear she's always there lol, FINALLY i made some time and decided to come Check them out. The one time I decided to go she doesn't answer her phone so I held her picture up asking the workers do they know this woman .... And if so what does she get because that's what I want lol They knew her face and knew exactly what she get that alone was impressive ... yes their menu only consist or a few things BUT the truck stays busy so the fact that They remembered her order I was deff impressed Next their customer service was outstanding very involved with the clients They were asking me did I prefer hot or mild sauce and also gave me their recommendation me personally that's how it should be because it shows me as a customer that you care about your business quality of service and my opinion Now let's talk about what the customers really care about .... And that's the FOOD THE SHIT WAS BOMB first time I had the chicken Mulita With everything including the mixed sauce chicken was tender now one thing I recommend is stop telling people the sauce ain't hot lol that shit deff spicy but it's a good spice for me that is lol second day I had The steak their were different people working and again still nice tender great tasting food and great customer service it's the consistency for me y'all keep making customers happy and full They accept many forms of payment One thing I would add is sour cream sour cream taking that mulita to a different level but if y'all never do y'all are the only truck I would accept this from lol Lastly just know this is not a bs post if you check my reviews just know TC will always keep it 100 when it comes to my service

TLP!! I started eating their tacos when they were set up outside a local bar in North Stockton. I've been following them ever since. I've eaten their delicious tacos, mulitas, burritos, and other items on their secret menu like "The Cone." You can usually find them set up at the food truck park called Stocklandia off West Lane. Look for the black truck in the front bumpin' the musica.They frequently set up for special events on the weekends supporting local events too. They actively support other food trucks and charity events and are truly one of the 209's best taco trucks! If you follow them on IG, Jesus frequently posts videos of his satisfied customers and himself sampling his outstanding tacos and Mulitas!! I always get their special green Palmita sauce and the red sauce too. Flavor to the max! All their menu items are loaded with quality meats. Check out Tacos la Palmita!!! Your appetite will thank you!

Best taco truck in Stockton no lie!!!!! The menu is small but nothing wrong with that!! don't let that take away from how bomb the food is. It's so good it's addicting . I've had all the menu items tacos,quesadillas,tortas and the mulitas let me tell you once again everything is BOMB!! They offer chicken, beef(asada) and pork (al pastor)!. Most of the time I either get steak or I do a mix of steak&chicken best of both worlds, right?!? Try this truck so if can be on your fav list too

Hands down best chicken and asada tacos in Stockton. The chicken is juicy and full of flavor, not dry like other places. The red salas is just the right amount of spicy and delicious. The asada cook perfectly and another one that's delicious. I'm sad I only order one of each through door-dash.

I wish I could give this truck MORE stars, but I have three issues. Favoritism - choosing to serve your friend's orders FIRST over customers who ordered 30 minutes beforehand and smirking about it because customers are voicing their frustrations over it. They do NOT take phone orders, so this was not the case and it was NOT a GrubHub/uber eats order. Food handling- No gloves while handling/cooking food. Waiting time- I waited for a total of 55 minutes from the time of purchase. I couldn't believe it! Three other customers were frustrated because they all were waiting more than 30 minutes each. So if you're not going to serve people on TIME, please don't lie and say 10-15 mins because obviously, that's not the case. The place was not full (8 people at the most) so I didn't understand why they were taking so damn long. If you're having issues, let customers know instead of taking their money and leaving them UNINFORMED. That's my experience, the food was good but for this kind of service, I'm not going to come here again.

So I wanted to treat my Eldest Daughter for lunch. She never tried Tacos La Palmita before. So this was her first experience. She ordered an Asada Quesadilla and yours Truly picked out a El Pastor Torta. The wait time wasn't long at all. A few minutes at most, but well worth it. You can either take it to go or eat your food there. I'm not a eat the food in the car type of guy. I prefer eating at the establishment. You can walk around or there's these little barrels you can place your food on and eat your delicious food on them. The guys working inside the truck are all awesome. Amazing customer service and very, very friendly. Now on to the food. My Eldest Daughter liked her quesadilla. She mentioned several times that it was pretty good. I was happy to hear that. I was even more amazed that she finished it. Normally I'm her garbage disposal, lol. Whatever she can't finish she like "Here Dad kill it" But not today, she's the one who killed it. It's been many Moons since I had a Torta. So Torta it was. I picked out an El Pastor Torta. Let me tell you that Torta was on hit. So compliments to the Chef. The El Pastor had so much flavor and the Salsa complemented it very well. So try it out! That's not all folks! My Mom was getting off work soon, so I wanted to surprise her with some Tacos. I ordered her Four Chicken Tacos. When I dropped the Tacos off, she was telling me "She loves the sauce" and "she Loves how everything is diced really good" "She also said, that's they're so, so GOOD! I was happy thar she was happy. Blast to the past: When my Son was down from College ( December/January). I got some Asada and Chicken tacos for him and his girlfriend. They both really liked them. Where he's at in Hawaii there's no Taco Trucks. So Tacos La Palmita was our first choice. My Family and yours truly are definitely a fan. There are many trucks in the 209, but one stands above all others. With it's signature murdered out truck, jams playing while you wait for some tacos, kuesoritos their take on burritos, bomb tortas, and my personal favorite the mulitas Al Pastor with everything on it, especially that signature green hot suace ( which is for sale from time to time). You can catch Jesus on Instagram most days to check with his many loyal customers, along with Pow from the leaf village holding down the fort when Jesus is at play . Catch them Tuesday through Saturday most weeks , be sure to give them a follow on social media for special events and did I mention they do caterings as well . Had a strange night, tried 3 different restaurants based on yelp recommendations. Happened by the taco truck, starving. Blood sugar dropping. Fast service, they even turned on the music. Horchata definitely homemade, it smacked. We had el pastor, carne asada and pollo. All were juicy and with balanced flavor profiles. We definitely be back, and we ain't even from here. I was looking for a new taco spot and found tacos la palmita on yelp! My favorite meat is the al pastor, it's juicy and has good flavor. The green hot sauce is also my favorite. I like how they use only 1 shell for the taco, it's not as heavy as other ones. The food here is pretty good. Sometimes they get a little busy, so i'll order on door dash then give them a call and let them know i'm coming. read more

If you haven't had the Mulitas, Tortas, or Tacos here yet, you're missing out!! The food is . The people are super friendly take care of their customers. Follow them on IG for updates, specials, and business hours each day. My recommendations are: - Torta de Asada con todo, spicy (huge) - Mulita de Asada or Al Pastor con todo (get yourself 2 and you'll be straight. If you get 3, they won't judge) - Tacos de Al Pastor or Asada con todo (get you a 4 piece at least. I'm a big guy, and I could put away 6 on a hungry day, but 4-5 is usually more than enough, but again, they won't judge ). Enjoy. read more

I eat tacos everyday because I'm from borderline Tijuana. And while visiting Stockton I wanted tacos. T.L.P menu is simple. The wait is a little long for just 3 tacos. But when I got the food I was like why is the box so small? I open the box and holy guacamole the taco was small. It wasn't a double tortilla like regular taco joints. And the mulitas was so tiny for $5. Hardly any carne for the price... I think everything should have been 50 cents with the proportions... was it good? Yes the hot sauce was fire and spicy...was it memorable in flavor? No. I'd come eat here again if I wanted to watch my figure and my pockets. read more

They catered my sons first "dragons love tacos" theme party and were professional, friendly, and the food was delicious. Many of my family members are vegetarian, like annoying vegetarian (no chicken broth in their rice kind of vegetarians)... and they were able to meet our requirements while keeping the food tasty. My mom complains about everything - literally everything- when it comes to food and even she loved the veggie tacos. The green sauce needs to be bottled and sold in stores and the Al pastor was a fan favorite! Don't sleep on them. Thank you guys for making my baby's birthday special! read more

Truck had a roach hanging on a spiderweb by the color lights he has outside of his truck. I let the guys know that his customers would easily see it if they don't clean it. I ordered 3 tacos waited 20 minutes for them and I left in a rush because I had a appointment to get my windshield replaced and as I was driving I took a bite out of my taco only to find a freaking roach egg inside of it I immediately went back and asked for a refund 10/10 do not recommend. That was disgusting. read more

I was starving, and I thought I'd try a Taco Truck. So Tacos LA Palmita was it. I wanted to see if it lived up to the hype it was getting on its reviews. I ordered a Carne Asada Torta! The chef smiled at me! They said it was still cooking! It was worth the wait! The total was ridiculous! It was packed with meat but not overwhelming! You could taste the onions, cilantro, and mix of the hot sauces. Truly amazing torta, definitely be back! Only draw back to eating this torta...... was you'll plenty of paper towels and a big appetite cause I could finish it! read more

So..I placed my ordered on doordash, and it was pretty easy and they had my order ready by the time I got there. I was so excited to find a food truck that opens late and people swore their sauce was so good.. but..yeah..I got the kuesorito (11.50) and 2 extra sauces of hot & mild sauce..(.50 cent each) overall I almost paid 15$ for my food. When I got home I was trying to look for my sauces and W O W! SO SMALL?? Plus they only gave me the mild sauce no hot sauce whatsoever. Not worth .50 at all. Palmita sause is good meats are average and pretty similar to other trucks in the area nothing too special the 1 star goes for the cheap penny pinching owner God forbid you ask for your food in a to go box and eat in your car Lol 1 tortilla tacos for the price is outrageous. This was my first visit recommended by a friend. We ordered at 7pm the guy said about 30 min. Did not hand us our drinks that's fine. So 8:30 our food was finally ready! With no soda they sold out so Gave us waters! no choice you need a drink with chili so I guess!!! It was worth the wait the steak was kinda dry but the green sauce over it made it better! I will just Order chicken next time! The mulita was amazing something I never tasted before! I will go back I just think it's so busy they need a better program to serve people! The food here is awesome I've been eating from this taco truck for years now. Best option is in the secret menu keto tacos with Palmita sauce. The staff provides very friendly service and I never have trouble hearing them when my order is ready unlike other trucks. So I have to say this is my first time visiting this place. Jesus is the man, and these tacos are really good. All ingredients are fresh and chopped by Jesus himself. The meat was seasoned really good, and that sauce is amazing. I would recommend anyone in the area stop and check them out! If you haven't tried Tacos La Palmita, you're missing out! Tacos are amazing!!! Best in the 209, the single tortilla on the tacos is my favorite!!! Hands down best mulitas in town. On top of that the tortas have a crispy cheese layer that takes them to a whole other level. The sauce is 11/10, the hot is my favvvv. The food is so good it speaks for itself but the service is honestly what continues to bring me back! Jesus and his entire staff are so amazing and attentive, they make you feel like family. I really wanted to like this place, as I am always looking for the best taco truck in any city I reside in. I stumbled up Tacos La Palmita on the Stocklandia Instagram and wanted to try their KETO Torta because it looked oh so toasted and delicious. My sandwich looked nothing like It was advertised on their page. The bread wasn't buttered and toasted! It looked like they popped it in my moms old toaster that sits on the countertop. The cheese skirt was burnt! There was hardly any green sauce. There was too much fat on my meat. if i could give 10 stars i would, ive been coming to this truck for a couple years and its a mandatory lunch stop spot for me, the mulitas and tacos are my go-to and could be yours too, the sauce is amazing and adds on to the deliciousness of food, if you have the tried this truck out yet you need too get out there and see what your missing out on, the owners and workers are nice people and always make you feel welcomed! read more

I have tried every item on their menu and everything is awesome! My favorite is definitely the asada or chicken mulita with palmita sauce!!! that sauce takes this well portioned meal to another level! I love that the meat is cut small and is always tender. they are always busy so be prepared for a little wait time... but trust that your meal will be amazing!! Best food in Stockton if you haven't checked them out you better get to it once you do you won't want to go anywhere else you can taste how fresh everything is and not only that the owners are hella friendly and will actually have a conversation great food great costumer service if I could give more then 5 stars I would read more

Absolutely love their tacos, their salsa concoction is amazing great people! They recently catered our church and I can't say enough. I'm pretty sure I spend every dollar I had in my pocket going back for more tacos. My wife wasn't so happy LOL read more

Not going to lie. I normally don't like quesadillas but WHEN I TELL YOU this truck right here is FIRE when it comes to making quesadillas I buy 2 at a time. if you do try them make sure you get the guacamole hot sauce... (if you like spice) read more

THIS GUY IS THE BEST AROUND. I've never ever liked street tacos anywhere I've been to ever since I visited Mexico, but Jesus makes street tacos so close, if not exactly like the street tacos in Mexico. I'm so glad I found his taqueria. read more
