This place was such a surprise…read more I've lived in Florida long enough to know we are not short on Mexican restaurants. After a while they all start tasting the same. Same chips, same salsa, same "we've seen this menu before." This one did not taste the same. The food at Amor & Agave was actually, genuinely flavorful. Layers. Seasoning. Not salty to hide bad cooking. Real flavor. I wasn't expecting that right off I-75 in Bushnell. One of the reasons I even went was because of the location. It's right off I-75 (exit 314), super easy on and off, and it was late at night and I hadn't eaten all day. I just needed good food, fast, without driving 25 minutes into town. This was perfect for that. Everything I ordered had flavor. Not just heat. Flavor. You can tell they actually care about the food and not just the volume of people coming off the interstate. That alone makes it stand out in Florida, because we have tons of Mexican spots but not a lot that are memorable. Price was solid too. For the quality, it's hard to beat.
