This place is across from a competitor and one of our favorite places. After seeing a giant line out front of the truck we had to check it out. While the flavor is there and the vibes check out, the portions were not. I can go to the competitor and get better value. I do love to support the small guys and will try a different dish next time.

This place was really intriguing to us to try because you have to be a pretty ballsy business owner to park across from one of the best taco places in the city! And you know what this truck was busy! Tons of customers and it smelled awesome. Once we actually tried the tacos they were really awesome!! Great flavor they tasted awesome . But if your gonna put yourself in the line of fire you gotta out due the competition! The tacos were pretty skimpy especially compared to across the street where they LOAD THEM UP. If this place can get on that level it might beat them! Till then I'll still be across the street lol! Very good overall though but price matters too and it's about the same

Delish as always! Corn in cup, mini tacos, burritos, charcoal beans, quesedillas, enjoy!

This place always hits the spot day or late at night. Delicious food for any hour. Service is friendly and they keep the place kept up very well considering it's outside. They have a covered area to sit which is nice.

Little yellow food truck sitting on Nacogdoches. I would always pass by but never stopped. My regular food truck was not there today so I tried something new. The burgers are excellent huge fries and a Coke comes out to $17 but I think mainly because I got Mexican Coke and not a regular. The burger itself was huge messy full of flavor and I loved it. Fries were hot crispy and crinkly. Fast enough where I can stop on my lunch break but me to order. Next time Tacos, then Dorta, I'll be back.

Bomb!!!!! They are located inside Slackers bar, next to the Airtopia, open from 11am to 2pm then back open at 5pm to 2am. The food is amazing! I orders the asada mini tacos, they come in a quantity of 5, the regular quesadillas, also asada, and the street corn. All fantastic. The meat was very tender and flavorful. They are very generous with their portions and toppings. As a fellow Mexican, I approve of it all!!! The lady who took my order was very sweet and brought my food very nicely packaged with a big smile on her face. I can't wait to order more! While waiting for my food I walked around and checked out slackers, which I'll review next xoxo

5 Mini Tacos (5) and Regular Taco (1) both with asada

I ordered the 5 mini tacos with asada, 1 regular taco with asada, a quesadilla, and a bean and cheese taco. I really enjoyed the bean and cheese taco and the regular tacos. I thought the salsa lacked flavor but the food was good.

This food truck was pretty good. I'm from California so I didn't have high expectations for tacos here and I was pleasantly surprised at the carbon and asada. They were both really tender. The torta was huge and pretty good too. It fed two of us plus the tacos. The green sauce went perfect with everything bc it had a kick but wasn't too over powering in spice. The peaches in cream was interesting. I didn't hate it but it's a lot of cream and peaches from the can. Overall the place was chill. Parking looks like a pain, we just parked at a no park zone bc it was super late and we were going to be in and out.

Nasty old avocado.

Love the corn in a cup and mini tacos! It's awesome to have somewhere to eat in the late hours where everything else seems closed.

Food tastes great. Always busy when we go. Recommend their tacos for anyone looking for good steak or pork tacos.

Found out about Dos Carnales on the SAFoodies page on Facebook. Thank you, SAFoodies…read more Simple Ambiance in this case it's all about the food and the service. The service: Incredibly attentive from the moment we walked in, quick to seat... get our drink order and then consistent follow up from almost the entire staff.... everything ok, you need anything... refreshingly rare. But the food... so many options as you can see by the photos of the menu. My first go to for a Mexican restaurant is always the cheese enchiladas. Are they good? Gooey cheese is my favorite over cheddar etc.... (I know i know) so I ordered the Nacogdoches plate to also sample their beef fajitas (beef or chicken were options) Fajitas were plentiful and delicious. My food friend who went with, ordered the Burrito stuffed with Asada, rice, beans... and topped with boiling hot cheese and red sauce.... (hopefully the video comes through) Looking good. No complaints from him either. Thursday it's breakfast time.

Food was okay. Friendly service. You seat yourself and pay at counter when you are done. I…read morereally wanted to get the chicharron with guacamole but that item was pretty pricey for $25. I liked their hottest salsa the orange one the most. The first basket of chips and salsa they gave you is free anything after is a charge. They also sell Tropicana brand paletas if you want a sweet treat after a meal.

Not so sure why all these glorious reviews. I can't say I was too impressed by this truck…read more I've been here twice so far and thought the food was pretty average. I had high hopes b/c the high rating and ordered the original gyro based on the recommendation. When I got my O.G., I wasn't OMG'd at all. Although I am not an expert on moroccan food, my taste buds are experts on food in general. The second time, my friend ordered the Chicka Chicka Bang Bang and offered me some to try. I liked the name Chicka Chicka Bang Bang and thought I was going to do a bang bang dance after putting the Chicka Chicka in my mouth. But again I thought it was A-OK. Apparently my friend was pretty unhappy about what she was eating (that's probably why she offered it to me, J/K). She said one of her close friends is moroccan and she has tasted much better moroccan food than this. All right then, guess it wasn't just me. So, the ultimate question: will I return? Probably not given that another truck at the Alamo Street Eat Bar is my favorite.

In search of something new, I found Wheelie Gourmet's Moroccan-inspired fare. After going over the menu, I asked for the Kefta which was labeled as a "Moroccan Burger." The Chef asked if I wanted to add the special, Candied Bacon. "Of course, I want Candied Bacon!" A few minutes later, this stunner was put in front of me. I took a minute to appreciate it, the warm pita bread, the seasoned meat with a hint of sauce, fresh spinach leaves and oh, yes, emmin-effin candied bacon. The next few seconds were a blur of tastiness, followed by awesomeness and rounded out with fullness. Will be back. Soon.

As a mom of 2 on the go I loved the food truck location, because I was able to park in front of the business while one of my girls napped in the car. The owner was very friendly. He had a few orders ahead of mine, I know some people might leave if they're impatient but that only peaked my interest more. I was given an electric pad that alerts you when your order is ready so you can wait in your car! I ordered the Chicken pad Thai (medium spiced), and I got my hubby the Chicken pad woon sen (mild). I tried both. The food was delicious! If it is your first time trying it, be sure to start off with the mild spice and work your way up. You know how some places you order spicy but it's not actually spicy; yeah no, his is spicy LOL so for my personal preference I think a mild is best. People don't be discouraged by how the portions look in the picture! Swear it's not those small "meal prep" containers, it's a GOOD SIZE portion. 10/10 will return for sure and I love that there's other food trucks around, so if you and your partner want something different you'll have options too. I will say that the thing that personally frustrated me a little, was the wait time to get my food; but then again like I said there was a LINE ahead of me so yes his food is popular. I think he also has the option to order online, so maybe I'll try that next time. I placed my order around 5:40pm and got my food till 6:20pm. BUT keep in mind everything was freshly made, the taste was Amazing, good portion and it is just HIM working the truck. So maybe order ahead or maybe you'll get lucky and there won't be a long line ahead of you.
